Hi
I m using the ICS Rom Wanamlite 10.9 at the moment and don't like the calculator on it. Wanted to flash and use the touchwiz calculator (this one :http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1129643), but my trys via CMW Recovery are always aborted. What i do wrong? is there any other way to flash the .apk? or someone can send me the correct .apk to flash.

No sign of your post in the apps thread as you linked. besides the app is a GB app not ICS .

Ah, thought you was talking about my ROM thread, thats where i ve asked for help. About the app thread itself, did n t wanted to open it again since it s inactive since few months. I know , that the app is a GB one, but was thinking it would fit since in ICS you still have same calculator. Anyway, will try to fix by my own.
Well that calculator sucks anyways. How about you give Mobi Calculator Free a try. It looks nice and works well.

Will give it a try , thanks for your reply.
lol sorry. Maybe I shouldn't say it sucks, but it's pretty basic. Not that everyone needs something more, but the one I mentioned has a similar look (simple) but more functional.
Anyways, hope you like it (I've even disabled the regular one to just use Mobi).
Hey guys I recall I saw a list of bloatware in excel in one of the threads but I just couldn't find it.
So I would like to ask if anyone has the thread/or a copy of the file to share?
Lastly my question is how do I freeze the Samsung update with titaniumbackup?
I am on CF-root so would like to disable the annoying pop up while waiting for the working root to come along for the new update.
Thanks in advanced and have a good Sunday!

hi all !
I know. plenty of threads about these apk's ... BUT. i still have questions... (and can't post in dev section as i am new...)
i searched, but i can't find any way to run S note (tried all the files i found on XDA...) on touchpad, has anyone a working solution?
And/Or, has the "10.1" release of S note already been leaked?
And... About asus supernote, i know it is working by tweaking screen dpi to 132 in order to see the tool bar (in landscape mode at least)... But, has anyone a working solution to see it in 160 dpi? Or, even better, and modded version of the app, for our touchpads?
Thank you ! (hope my english isn't too bad, hope you are not fed up with these subjects )

Have you read this thread it is all about Asus supernote if it does not have the answer you're seeking, it is certainly the place to ask your questions and you are allowed to post I think .

if talking about supernote, can you see that toolbar ? (delete, back...)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=26993981&postcount=26
you are probably running a lower DPI setting, no?
And which release is installed? 1.4, or older?

Hello,
well, actually, i've read everything on the forum before registering, including that thread it answers the question by "change DPI setting" which, i tried, works... But it's too small for my girlfriend eyes >< ... It doesn't answer my questions; how making everything working with standard definition setting; so, with a modded apk or anything else...
i could have ask there, but, as i have another question about S note (which is a bit of a same subject), i created a new thread...
thanks anyway !
S Note won't work, it relies on Samsung TouchWiz to function. It doesn't even work on my Galaxy Note with CM9. I prefer "Memo Beta" which is an open source S-Note clone, works with finger input as well as S-Pen so it should work on the TouchPad. I haven't tried it on mine though.

Well as the title suggests, if anyone has a Verizon Galaxy Note 2 please can you upload the APK, there seems to be evidence to suggest it now includes Swiftkey Flow technology!.

Will wait for it

Any update on this? Would be a nice feature :good:
Could someone point me in the right direction for disabling the camera shutter sounds on the new Sense 5 camera on the EVO LTE? On 4.0/4.1 I had a mod that created an option in the camera settings. I've searched high and low and haven't found anything specific to the new stock ROM.
I've unpacked the new Camera.apk and replaced all of the .ogg files with blank ones, then repacked and replaced the apk, but the app crashes as soon as I launch it. I've tried replacing it with a modded Camera.apk for another device (Droid DNA) but that didn't work for reasons that are probably obvious. I've also tried decompiling/recompiling it using APKtool but I get a Java FileNotFoundException every time I try to install a framework.
Any ideas?

Thanks, I was really trying to not sound like one of "those" people, but since searching within XDA threads is apparently down I was hoping it wasn't already covered in 117 pages. Guess I'll go page by page...
EDIT - Found it, thanks!

Well I linked it with the mods on the first page, so it's not like you'd have to search far . . .

Go to Original Development and look for the 4.3 firmware/recovery/rom thread by Captain_Throwback. Read the first 3 posts. There are links to directions on how to edit /system/customize/CID/default.xml and build.prop prior to 1st boot, plus several other useful mods and upgrades.
