Hi, yesterday I tryed to update my Tablet S with all-in-one tool to ICS Italian ROM (I have an Italian Tablet S).
I'm stuck on adding root to decrypted rom: I have the attached message... I don't know what to do, i tryed to copy su file from xbin to bin folder: this made the process go further, but the mount problem still persists and in the end zip creation failed... Someone can help me? I'm on rooted HC 3.2

Hi raffounz,
I've an Italian tablet too (wifi +3g) and I rooted it successfully, follow the instructions here.
I don't know the reason of your error, but I can tell you it is not related to the Italian rom !

Hello guys, I really want to flash my Galaxy 5 so i can use custom themes and run Gingerbread, but i am baffled by the vast amount of information ive read and to be perfectly honest i havent a clue what i am doing.
Ive read 3 tutorials (The huge flashing/official roms one, Clockwork Mod v4 one and how to flash and install CWM) but i am struggling. First of all I'm using Windows, i open ODIN and i put in the OPS file and i try to find the .tar file to install ClockworkMod but it isnt there, i have attached screenshots of the files i have from the things i have downloaded from the tutorials.
I just generally need a noob friendly tutorial that will help me to flash my Samsung Galaxy Europa 5 running stock Froyo, rooted with Universal Androot.
I will greatly appreciate every single reply that will help me to get Gingerbread and some awesome themes.
Thank you,
Curtis.

Yeah aha, this was when i first started to flash, managed to do it myself (I was rather stupid and extracted the zip file)
Good evening guys, I just bought a Lenovo A586; I want to root it and install CWM. I'm not very experienced, I did some research and apparently there's not many information about this model. I wouldn't like to mess things up, of course
Here are the version details:

If you want root here is a link to superoneclick
http://shortfuse.org/?page_id=2
But before you get started, don’t forget to enable USB debugging on your phone by going to Settings->Applications->Development and enabling “USB Debugging“.\
here are the instructions:
http://www.tomsguide.com/us/Root-Your-Android-Phone,review-1688-3.html
This will just give you root, not cwm. I search and see what I can find
Thanks, but that software is very outdated, I doubt it will work in ICS.
Regards.
Edit: I did try it just to make sure, and it didn't work... says it's already rooted. Tried unrooting and then rooting again, but it crashes. I don't think it's meant to work on ICS.
Hey Everybody!
So im trying to flash the complete system on my Lenovo S6000-H (16GB WiFi and 3G, MT6589) with a stock rom to get rid of all the branding.
Im using S6000_A422_101_017_131009_WW_SMS which I got from another post (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2368913&page=7) number #66.
It downloads parts of the ROM fine but when trying to do a full system upgrade it wont find the FAC.img which is in the scatter file and in the "target_bin" folder.... Where does the program pick up the file paths from or is there a file that tells SP flash tool where they are??
I have tried using 3 different versions of Flash tool aswell as i did read it may be a bug but didnt help.
See Attachment
Hope you can help!
Has nobody came across this before as my Tablet is just an expensive paper-weight at the moment...?

Change your rom
Hi there, when that happens what you have to do is to select manually the FAC file, just click twice over the FAC file and select it in your folder. After that, the tool will read the file and the flash should be good.
