Hi everybody,
here's my problem , thanks to anyone who would be able to help me.
I got the Qtek2020 a week ago, with an O2 uk rom (1.60). Everything was working ok.
3 days ago : i upgraded to the new O2 v1.72.187 uk ROM, i uninstalled the actveui application from O2 and put my settings for my cell network for the gprs & mms (proximus, belgium).
Yesterday, as i was in the middle of "champs elysees" in need to call a friend, my xdaII didn't seem to respond to anything, i tried to close it and open it but it wouldn't react to that button either... so i did a SOFT reset... and what a bad suprise had i when i saw it did a HARD reset !! :S (30 mins later, my friend call me so i had her number).
So yesterday night, back in belgium, i decided to put the French ROM for belgium avalaible Here. i followed the instruction for the country code problem avalaible Here.
I then installed lal my software ( included TTN3 with CheckPOI). and did an activesync backup before going to sleep at 4am.
This late morning (after using xdaII a little for calls and sms) : i pushed the power button to open the screen... no reaction...clicked again several times... yet no response... so i thought about yesterday at the champs elysees... maybe if i do a soft reset now, it will think i'm doing a hard reset becaue i clicked the power button first ... so i just removed the battery for exactly 2 seconds, and here come the screen powering up again BUT..... it was HARD RESETTED !!!
Ok...weird xdaII !!
no matter.. i have my last night back up... phew !! i won't have tosetup everything and installed everything again.......... I WISH
when i put the xdaII in the craddle, it asks me for a new name to give to it (not yet used)....Ok, done.
Now lets restore my backup...
i went to my last night backup's folder to copy the backup.stg file to the new folder. And then click to restore...
UNABLE.... it says it was done from a different device... (HUH !?!?today's ROM is same as last night's backup ROM !?!? What s wrong !?).
If anyone could PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me... i begin to be disapointed by this wonderful device
Best Regards,
Have a good day.
Mike
i have had the same problem, regional settings in system settings has to be the same as in the backup.
Thanks, restoring backup is working now
but some files can't be copy because they are being used... despite the fact that i only activesync is open... is there a way copy them anyway ???
kaemon,
as to your device not responding, i experienced the same problem previously with battery pack pro v1.1 installed on my 1.66WWE but i upgraded to 1.72, never did dare to try after that.
Hello to everybody,
I am new user of a galaxy s2 which I byied used, .
During the last days, I've noticed that the screen sometimes turns on without any obvious reason to me. After 2 or 3 seconds it turns off and so on.
During these same days, after some calls, I get a notification fot "vingo" to have access to some of my phones hardware, which I decline.
My phone has the ics 4.03 version of android, and specifically the polish one (I live in Greece)
my kernel version is 3.0.15-Ι9100XXLPS-CL294511 [email protected] #3 .
any advice ?
since my phone runs a polish firmware, it has already been rooted ?
and if yes,could/should I return it somehow to the previous version of android GingerBread ?
or is there a way apart from reset to default values,to eliminate this problem ?
thanks in advance for any answer.
this is probebly due to some backgrond data /apps,
factory reset is the sysmplest way,
backup with Titanium and reset
restore apps only one by one monitoring the issue....
Hi.
I had a Goclever Quantum 400 but I've buy a new phone. And I want to give that Q400 to somebody from my faimlly but this device from last few days starting to act weird. Apps won't run and stuff like that. I can't do a factory reset because after restart it's still was the same. So I try to install a new android from here - goclever.com/uk/products,c1/smartphone,c8/archive,c100/quantum-400,a331.html#support
And it's the installatioi process goes well so after that I turn on device and put my google account etc. But after that device restarts every time. Once it after few second after turn on, once its minute after or something like that.
And now I can't install any other android because it still is the same, even when updating goes well. I can't turn recovery mode either.
Any help?
Hey guys! This is my first thread here, but I knew this site before. I've got an M4 Aqua E2303, Android 5.0, Build 26.1.A.2.167 (upgraded from .99 with TWRP to keep the root.).
The story : I've got this phone like 4 months ago, I was so happy etc... After it updated to 5.0 it kept restarting randomly. Total random, when it was not under using, if I use it, it does not restart itself. Sometimes the restarts occurs when it's under charging, and sometimes when I want to unlock it and use it, and sometimes total randomly, and sometimes it shuts down. For different verions the problem was different too. On 26.1.A.2.99 it was the worst, it restarded and stuck on the boot screen until reached 0% battery. On 26.1.A.2.128 It turend off the screen, but the phone was running and the LED was red (even when fully charged) and only started with the hard off button in the SD card slot.
I've got the default "Diagnostics" app, now it says that the Phone got system errors 42 times in 10 days. It was worse before (over 140). But it doesn't say why did it restart, I'm hoping for help from any of you, who had this issue and solved it, or someone who knows a better diagnostic tool that will explain what caused the system fault.
I appreciate all the helps!
Have you performed a factory reset? (It will delete all your data and apps)

Yes, when the phone was new and the restarts were annoying. It fixed it for 1 day. The next day it was restarting again.
This would point to an app you've installed causing the issue. Factory reset again and install each app one by one until the restarts happen to find out which.

If you used the pre-rooted zip to maintain root while updating to the latest android, this will fix your rebooting problem. Follow this guide:

Hello,
As we know Marshmallow update arrived , I had no problem recieving MM update to my E2353. i updated the phone using sony companion and it updated normal, nothing occured , i didn't made any mistakes..nothing.
So after update it turned off and boot up like normally it do,
First boot up took long time , like 20-30 mins and phone heated for some extent.
I did normal stuff such as connecting wifi etc, after that i restarted and it took around 20-40 mins to turn on again...
after turning on battery life is very poor..also every sensor of the phone are not working, no auto rotation, nothing.. now every time i turn it on it take 20-40 mins, battery is awful, it feel like its dieing after the MM update
couldnt find anyone with this problem with official update at all.
NOTE : i did rooted this an year ago without any problems and unrooted it after doing so without any problems.
i recieved MM original update.
current build no - 26.3.A.0.131
i've reinstalled (resetted) using sony update service which redownload the MM . it had no effect
Thank u very much !
