I have just connected my Neo to my laptop and Pc Companion notify me for the update . My phone is not included to the SI numbers Sony posted , so i guess Sony has started spreading it . Check yours !

yesterday I see in My Xperia Neo there is one Update and I'm Connected in 3G and when I Accept the Update but after 1hours the Neo shut OFF and don't want be ON again !! I try FLASHTOOLS it can install the firmware and in end of the update FLASHTOOLS tell is ok just unplug the USB Cable and reboot, but when I do this the xperia Still in Black Screen,
Any Idea ?

evry time i tryed 2 update it thro the pc companion it says that i dun have a original version so i need to pass this thing cuz my neo is unstable the (0%betary problem and plaplapla etc.) and i need to make it good as 1st time i used it .......thanks for you all ppl trying 2 help

i need help to update my xperia u 2.3.7 to 4.0 and an official update is out bt wen i start the update the phone gets switch off hence intercepts the update please help as i want to update only via official sony updates please help

buddy i have tried this out bt am facing problems... do i have to initiate safe mode or something before updating...
i own a xperia neo and i saw reviews for the ics 4 update tht sony rolled out which were not convincing. i'd like to get started on how to upgrade to it manually . i'm very new to this and pls anyone guide me. if its the video tutorials, it would be more than helpful

What do you mean by Manually updating ?
All you need to PC Companion or SEUS, just download anyone from Sony Web Site, & let it update it for you, just follow the instruction (which will give you when you install PC Companion or SEUS)

hello.
i have a xperia sola smartphone. as usual the ics update sucks on it so i submit the handset to service center with the request to fix the slowdown and hanging problem.but what the did is just downgrade my android Version to gingerbread.
Now the problem is that before i submit it to the service center (i had ics install then) i back it up the phone with sony pc companion and also with the inbuilt backup and restore app that comes with the xperia sola ics updat. after the degradation to gingerbread there is no such app or i can't restore my phone with the pc companion ether.
i searched the forum and also googled it lot but didn't get any solution. pleas help me out with this.
