Better CM7 for DS 5!!! - Streak 5 Android Development

Well, someone could try this, but i don't think this version would be more stable than the CM7 here on forum with Phoenix Kernel Test 2.... As i used CM7 with Phoenix Kernel Test 2, i can say that i haven't experienced any major problem. (Minor problems are a matter of taste for me, not functionality).

Downloaded and flashed as usual around 5 hours ago,,so far no issue,,fast and smooth,,battery draw,,hmm.so far so good..just that preloaded with 360 launcher and chinese keyboard...

You can change it via build.prop or lcd modder that was included in this rom

This ROM is actually "CyanogenMod-7.2.0-RC0-DS-KANG-HPA-HDPI", with some modifications, and i think it has DSC Kernel (i've not tested it, just a quick look over the contents of the zip)...
The LCD Density can be changed by modifying system/build.prop -> lcd_density=160(or whatever denisty you want)

Does anyone know how to get the Theme Chooser working in this ROM? It didn't come with one so I moved one from another CM7 ROM for Streak and gave it the right permission but it doesn't seem to work.
Edit: Fixed the issue - needed to move the Theme Manager apk as well.

When you change your dpi to 160, DS will be slowdown, belive me
This rom is not different from the first CM 7.2. If anyone is with CM 7.2, only replace theme and change LCD dpi to 240, then remove some unneccesary app by TITANiumbackup, DS will get the best perfomance and longlife battery like this rom

the framework png's in the rom are optimized for hdpi(240dpi)
so its better to keep it as it is
if you still want smoothness
use mdpi version in 240 dpi

I have tweaked the build.prop a little.
I think that might have helped
I have added 3g tweaks and CM specific tweaks to the build.prop

Maybe, it might have helped to solve the issue.
Because i used CM7 and MIUI with hPa's kernel and i saw the same issue with both of the roms.
So i am using them with Phoenix kernel.
Would you please send me your build.prop and would you please mirror this Rom to a site except 4shared?
