I'm a little confused with system themes. Meaning the colour schemes for menus independent of launcher themes.
I installed the Objection ROM, but I find the contrast too low between text and backgrounds in some apps. I want to flash another theme, but I don't know if I can flash a CM9 theme or AKOP theme or even what those are really.
How do I know what themes I can flash on to this rom?
If its in a third party app, you would have to theme that specific app, which is way more complicated than just a theme. CM9/AOKP themes are only for if you are running CM9 or AOKP roms, so unless you're on one of those, they are useless. Which apps are you talking about?

So I really like the ribbon notifications in Miui roms but I'm nota fan of the room itself. There's a icon pack that I really like called miui suave hd and was wondering if there is anyway to implement the ribbon notifications in an aosp Rom? I know there are some themes like label theme that use ribbons but It would be cool if there was an app or system setting that would allow this irrespective of the theme used in t mobile theme chooser. I don't mean the icons them self, I'm using apex so i got that covered. Thanks.
Edit: Here's the icons i was talking about. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1330577

I'm trying to extract the keyboard, browser and mms themes from a theme chooser theme so I can use them with another theme chooser theme. I tried copying and pushing the apk's after applying the second theme, but they were rethemed by the second theme after rebooting. So do I need to extract the individual png's and xml's of the themed apps I want moved and recompile them with the other theme? I was just wondering if there was a better way before I start digging through all the images.
are u by any chance trying to pull the above from the MIUI CM10 theme? just curious, thats what im trying to accomplish. i'd love those apps themed like that on the creamsicle theme.
No, sorry. Just need some apps from Skycore cm10 theme to use on Flow theme.

Hi all!
I have been looking around for a good simple CM10 or AOKP theme chooser theme, and I was wondering if there were any themes close to just the stock JB with a matching themed Swype? I hate the default look of it and will be using a theme with a matching Swype, but I think I would prefer one more faithful t the original. Thanks for your time!
I wanted to know if there were any themes that had every single icon/widget that is totally clear. Yes I do also have Team Black's stuff.

you can use their ROM, alliance v6 which has transparent framework. besides that you're not going to find much other transparent stuff besides that ROM and their cleared out apps.
Of course you can also use an aftermarket launcher to set the transparency of your app drawer. Also most popular widget sets such as beautiful widgets pro lets you make their widgets transparent.

Would it be possible to theme stock touchwiz 4.1.2 to look like stock jellybean?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using xda premium
Huh?
Stock jelly bean has touchwiz.
Touchwiz is a framework exclusive to Samsung devices. So when you buy a Samsung phone you probably have touchwiz.
There are different versions of jellybean that don't have touchwiz that you can load onto a Samsung device. Like AOSP, AOKP, and many many more!
All roms can be themed. Some are more difficult than others and require more steps to do so.
What rom theme do you like?
Yeah I mean theme a touchwiz rom to look like stock aosp. Is that possible? I have no idea how to theme otherwise I would have tried to myself...

First off AOSP is Android Open Source Project. It's as basic as it gets. It doesn't have touchwiz, sense, or stuff like that. So it doesn't have a theme, it's raw.
If you want to theme the stock samsung rom first you deodex the rom. Then you can theme it. Beginners use xposed framework and various modules. Smart guys on here can decompile and edit code and files. Smart people that don't have the time to edit roms download already theme'd, cool, kick ass roms from here! I'm a noob so I google a LOT and use a combo of both to get what I like.
It has a theme... the os isn't freaking invisible stop being difficult.
He wants TouchWiz to look like vanilla android.
The look of stock android (meaning what is shipped on nexus devices) ics and above is called "holo" btw
You'd need a deodexed Rom, then you'd have to get the images from vanilla and place them in the corresponding apks in TouchWiz AND add the double called images into the TouchWiz framework specific apks and change any color Code xmls to holo blue.
If you just want the "look", a temporary solution is you could also install nova (or apex launcher) and then use the jellybean theme for nova or apex. I also froze TW launcher in Titanium Backup and installed the JB keyboard.
I did this after flashing Padawan JB rom, which is a Touchwiz/4.1.2 based rom.
