My x10mp occasionally fails to connect to the router.
Once a connection attempt was unsuccessful, the phone doesn't retry to reconnect. I need to manually go to settings->wifi networks and click on the network to retry, This is annoying.
Is there a way to make the phone automatically retry connecting to a network after an unsuccessful attempt?.

I've just unlocked my Orange M1000. Brilliant! I've entered all the necessary info to connect, via the Cellular phone, to my ISP [gonuts4free.com]. When I try to connect, I get an error message "User name or password wrong". I immediately go into settings, and find the password cell is blank! This happens every time. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks!

I purchased Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray, with OS Android 2.3.3.
I tried connect to my Wi-Fi network, but no success.
My network is with a password, and i entered it correctly, i checked twice before typing the pass... The device showing that is trying access the network, but after some sec. the connection is failed.
I tried reset the router, but it still failed...
I dont have any other wifi connections in my range so i cant check for another wifi connection.

I have got my S3 updated to 4.1.2 a week back.
I am getting a Newtork Failure prompt frequently on my S3 as soon as I get connected to my 2G mobile data. I have not connected to any WI-FI networks, and even I have not checked the option of "Auto Update".
This problem appears as soon as I enable the mobile data. And I don't see any option where only during WI-FI I can enable the Check for updates.
This is interrupting me while doing some day-to-day tasks like while sending mail using Gmail, while browsing gallery(locked by AppLock), this network failure prompts. Due to this I need to enter the passcode again and again.
I want to stop this prompt being shown frequently. Please suggest!!

Try the usual solutions, as per other similar posts, first try factory reset then flash stock rom via odin - including the right modem for your country.

The setting is using a usb wifi finger with softAP to share PC internet connection. Everything is working, cause my "new" phone with 4.1.2 has no problem connecting. Triple+ check on the pwd, no problem. So at this stage I know, X10 can detect the AP, recognize the channel, identify the security protocol, but timeout at authentication...
either there's no response from the AP, or x10 has problem recognizing the authentication is done!
Using foxhound rom I can connect to my secure network at home and at work i can connect to an open network but at work i can't connect to two secured networks that i am allowed to connect to....it says obtaining ip address then says secured, saved....if I load the stock rom I can connect to the work secured networks with no problem......any ideas?....I've read about this problem but not this specific
