i have rooted my xperia neo V without problem following the guide in this forum.
Now don't know what i can do i'd like have something to speed up the cell.
any trick for me?

I Just did some modification in the official ICS and its as smooth as ever

Now unlock your bootloader and flash MIUI or KA Roms. The greatest roms for Neo/Neo V EVER!!
well now u can delet unwanted apps from ur phone like that demo officesuite,... or u can change system.apk to this or u can unlock bootloader and flash ROM
and mach more...
(but whatever you do be careful and read more about it before u start messing with anything...)
Or u can flash jj's hybrid rom, no need to unlock and very fast...

I managed to get CM7.2.0 for Xperia Neo (MT15i) by FXP working on our Neo V, including the camera.

Installation:
1. Download FXP rom here together with the addon (gapps).
2. Flash the kernel provided wih the rom.
3. Reboot into recovery & flash CM7build.prop_edited.zip
4. Reboot your phone again & go to recovery.
5. Flash the rom & addon and reboot into phone.
6. Reboot into recovery, and flash CM7_patch.zip
7. Reboot your phone & enjoy.
Disclaimer:
I will not responsible if u brick or damaged your phone.

I liked it. Butterly smooth.
Actually I had installed it earlier as soon as fxp 107 uploaded.......... just by replacing the build.prop & update script & applied the camera patch.
After this thread by emann I only applied the two updates.(cm7 build prop...& cm_7 patch..). All is well.

I noticed after applying your updates CPU governer changed from scary to interactive and I/o scheduler from noop to bfq. Is it battery friendly?

I have installation error in any ICS roms.My Phone is already root,unlock boot loader and Nightelf rom.When i installed first Xperia Neo ICS 4.03 Beta V1.2 [4.1.C.0.7] but not successful and error and stop with Sony Logo.Today i downloaded MooDeD ICS 6.0 RC.1| Updated 3/19/12 | Smooth And HD Gaming And Web Surfing, and installed again but not successful.
When i installed for sd-card of MooDeD ICS, it's appear bad file copy and cannot installed.
Let me know how can i install my phone on ICS??

About corner docks no Flamemo's home apk does not have that.

Just install the files as normal apk and u will have xperia s launcher and widgets

To install .zip files you need to install recovery. You can install recovery with locked and unlocked bootloader.

So i would like to use the stock ics phone, in call screen messaging etc. but i can't get them working on my neo. Which files should I use and do I have to modify other apk's as well like framework etc? I'm on stock rom on my neo with neo v firmware.
Why dont u flash stock ICS .587 rom for neo (MT15) using flashtool???

That's the correct words for what I want. I use neo v firmware because it has more system space. But whenever i try to replace the sony apps with aosp i get no gsm, if I keep the sony one i dont't get aosp dialer and contacts. Only in call screen works just by replacing apps.
My original question is: What do I have to do to get this working? Beautiful ICS has it and it works on locked bootloader so it is possible. But I prefer the stock one with a jelly bean statusbar, not the tabbed one, because it is way better in games and has much more free ram. On fresh flash and boot I have over 200mb ram, and with all my apps installed, framework modified and used for a week i still have ~150mb so multitasking is great.

Only one more error, the camera.. i tried using other roms patch for neo but i don't know which files to use exactly.

After long time I resorted stock rom & now its showing a new OTA 0.1 MB.. strange.. can anyone shade light on it.

Dont know what it is. Bt since u have unlocked bootloader DONOT ota. You'll brick your phone. Only option will be to fota unbrick the phone

I dunno. If it was ~35-40 mb update it could be .13 but still I am just guessing.
