When I open an email it is shown in a really basic form and I have to scroll to the bottom of the email and select (show more details) is there a way of showing emails in full without having to scroll and selecting show more details by default ?

I would like to add a photo to some of my contacts but i dont now how to do it.I dont now how to copy any contact from my sim card to phone memory so i can add some extra things....
Solution 1: Go to contacts, open a contact, click on the contact icon, you should see an option of adding picture.
Solution 2: go to gallery, open any picture and set it as "contact picture"
Solution 3: Install Full screen caller ID. It will show your contacts, you can select hi-resolution picture and set it.
When viewing email messages (gmail, yahoo, exchange), the message is "zoomed in" so I have to scroll left and right just to view the message. Is there a setting I didn't adjust or something? I want the email message to default to the width of my screen (in portrait orientation), so I don't have to scroll left/right just to read the message. This only happens with HTML messages, so I am guessing that there is a setting that I need to adjust. Guidance/assistance is appreciated!
same question
Hi - I have the same question re scrolling (in gmail) as raised below... I too think that there's probably a setting that I need to adjust in order to avoid having to scroll from left to right? Again, any insight / guidance would be appreciated. Thanks!

Clicking in a contact will show the contact complete profile. There´s a way to set to call the default number?
hold your finger on the number u want to be default and a menu will appear with "set as default" on it.
I already done that. My favorites haven default numbers set. In list view mode I can directly call then, but this didnt work in grid view mode.
My question is regarding the option to enable this click-and-call feature on grid view mode. Today when I click in the contact photo I´m redirected to contact page.
I was wondering about this also, my last phone did it by default and its driving me crazy that it doesn't. Any help is greatly appreciated.
In the Android-application I dynamically creates a list of view and textview in each of them. Clicking on the textview - OnClick-event - I process using listner - after clicking I send request to the database and get a list of values associated with the pressed textview.
On the form I have Spinner - it automatically and dynamically filled with new lists (purified and filled in). When pressing the textview occurs and app get list from the base, this list I need to show.
For output, I use the same Spinner - I load in it a list of values, which i get from base, and show on the screen. Spinner displays everything on the screen in dialog mode -
Code:
android: = spinnerMode "dialog"
If I select new value from this displayed list, then there is a new chain of operations that I had made, and that works: a new request is sent to the database and so on.
If I do not choose value from the list on the screen and click on the space outside of the dialog box to close the window, I need my Spinner fill values from the previous list, which was in Spinner before clicking on textview.
This list I save and i can re-fill Spinner. But I do not understand how can I raise an event, for example OnNothingSelected, or any other method, which can fills Spinner, when closing the dialog box by pressing outside the dialog box of my Spinner.
How can I do that? If not difficult, please give an example of Android-code because i am not good in Android
Is this even possible -- can't see any block function in "Messages"
How To Block Spam Text Messages on Android From an Email Address
If you use Google’s messaging app, you have more luck than some other Android users because Google developed a spam filter that should automatically eliminate spam texts. Here’s how to enable it:
Open the Messages app
Hit the three dots in the upper right corner
Select Settings from the drop-down menu
Choose the SIM card if applicable
Select Spam protection
Tap on the slider next to Enable spam protection so it becomes blue
You can repeat the same process for another SIM card if you have two.
OK. confirmed. It works just as above
I've had that turned on, but still got the email texts...good thing I can still report those as spam and block tho.

so i don't have this option .."choose the SIM.." or anything that says "Sam protection.."
under message settings
conversation categories
notifications
block numbers and messages
more settings
emergency alert history
about messages.
tried every area, nothing gives the option for spam protection.
I'm on a stock samsung build on VZ provider.
Any ideas ...anyone??
