hey guyzz, i have sony LWWand i think i have a problem right now. I updated my phone via SEUS by it didn't update said' failed to update. Then i did the same thing with sony pc companion n same msg was shown, i.e. update failed. Now my phone is not starttin, wen i press da power button it just vibrates for a while n nothing happens, wen i connect it to a charger, green led glows but nothing happens....wat shud i do ??
pls reply asap

Okay. So tell me if you have root or not. If your bootloader is unlocked or not. If you have CWM installed or not?

i did nothing, my fone is not rooted either, just nothing.
i just wanted to format my fone n card, so i just tried to update my fone after removing card n sim !!
then in da middle of nowhere the update failed and now it's not starting
pls help

Okay. So here's what you as a normal Sony Customer do. Take your phone to the Sony Store. And he will repair it there. As it must be still under warranty.
On the other hand, if you want to play with warranty and want to fix it at home, then, download an application called flashtool from the internet. Using this tool, flash the ftf of .42 firmware on to your cell.

Head over here and read the section called as downgrade. Here you will find all relevant files too.

No. He got it corrected now. .
He was trying to root a non rootable firmware in a new method as worked out by puppet13th.
The method should have worked in theory, but it did not due to lack of space in phone memory of Till's phone. And that's why it briked.
Now, puppet has worked on the problem, and has edited his project, such that the file which was causing the problem (this file was required for rooting), was removed soon after it did it's job of helping in the root process. .

sryy to start a new thread but tried and searched a lot through all these threads but didnt get any answer..
yesterday i flashed mini cyanogenmod ontomy device obviously from the help of this forum only worked fine for a couple of hours but then the network buzzed off and showed insert card i tried rebooting it changing the sim but no luck..
si i decided to get into the original rom so reinstalled my software from sony pc companion but still the same problem please help guys please..

Have you tried inserting your sim card to another phone ? Have you trued inserting another sim ard to your phone ?
I think the problem is in your sim card (or network provider)... If it works without flaw on other phone, try SEUS it... If still don't help, try another sim card...
I'm suspecting your sim card or network provider since there's that "buzzing" you told me. Other case, it may be a hardware problem (hopefully not).
tried with various sim cards dude and all sims are working on my other phones it is definitely smthng wrong with dis onr only..
and it is only showing no sim card insert sim card..

I had same problem, not to worry buddy here is the solution. First did u unlock bootloader? And did this problem occur after you unlocked it and installed custom software? Kernel and rom? If you did then all you need to do is plug in your phone again and rerun setool2 while the phone is plugged into the p.c it should restore your network to it's original state. If it didn't succeed the first time then try a second time, it will work!
Let me know if you came right.

the fone was already rooted before all this..
i did it using flashtools..
flashtools->plugins
then unlocked my bootloader from there..
then flashed the custom kernel for the mini cyanogenmod
and installed the custom rom..
also i installed the custom rom before flashing the custom rom but fone didnt startd up so came to knw dat will have to flash the new kernel..

You can run msm7227 in faiyyaz's S.E tweaker tool it should restore your gsm.

Reflash the phone with s.e.u.s (sony ericsson update service) you can google it if you don't have it already downloaded. Let me know what happens.

Don't push the sim card too far when pluging it. It's back must touch the extremity of the slot.

Run msm 7227 plug in your phone via usb and p.c it will detect your phone and run the set-up. After it automatically reboots gsm and it should be restored.

i did play a lot with the phone today, rooter, unlock the boot loader, etc...couple of mins agou i decided to go back to stock usin SE Bootloader_Unlocking_Relocking_1.6 and the central europen ics ftf file
i have no idea what happened, i saw this red light light (the led on top) and now i can't do anything ... ( is there any why to flash it ???

ps: if a press long enough volume up and power i manage to get it in the "green led mode" ...
If red led is working so you can repair it with Sony PC Companion or flashtool, good luck.

I was trying to root my phone sony xperia neo L.
I flashed MT11i_4.1.A.0.562_kernel using flashtool. then the phone went off. It vibrated (I guess it was in debugging mode)
Then I rooted the phone using Doomlord easy root method. the phone got rooted.
but when I try to flash MT15_4.1.B.0.431_kernel the phone is not turning ON.
What do I do. Please help.

But how do I flash. I cannot switch off or On the phn. When Flashtool asks to remove usb and hold back button, nothing happens.
I tried flashing but it doesnt move further after reconnecting to usb

He will be able, as long as he follow instructions, and flash correct kernel.
@OP: why flashing neo kerel on neo l, after you already rooted?

Yup I did the mistake flashing worng Rom (mt15i)
Its the 1st time I rooted and flashed the phone, was confused. then again flashed with MT25i rom and everything went smooth
Hello guys,,
I'm not very noob, but i never faced this problem before!
My SE Xperia NEO V runs on GB 2.3..
And started to make probs suddenly, such as "Google play stopped unexpectedly" and "Google account stopped"
besides almost all services made the same error and became almost unusable.
I flashed it by flashtool latest version to GB .62 and then to .42
it worked well for 1 day then made the same errors!
I flashed JB with flashtool as well but also works for one day then everything collapse!
All that ended by that my neo v kept restarting and stucks every time on sony xperia screen the restart again.
I tried to flash again GB or JB but this time makes an error on 99% and dont continue and shows a yellow alarm triangle screen on the fone!!
that happen everytime i flash and nothing works.
I tried:
- flashtool
- sony PC companion
- SEUS
- emma "from sony"
NONE of them helped
My NEO V is unrooted & the bootloader is locked.
Please help me
Flash ics. 587 firmware and see.. Tick no final verification before flashing.. And check all boxes in wipe data and all other boxes in that column.. And try flashing..

Then the boot is error , it is either hardware or soft brick , but if flash ftf can't help then Sony Service Center is the way to go

Last option I would suggest.. Unlock bootloader.. I hope your phone is getting connected into fastboot mode.. Flash a custom kernel..using the recovery of the kernel flash any custom pre rooted rom.. Try this..

Thank you! but i think its not possible to unlock BL in my case, because my phone isn't starting at all! but it keeps on rebooting after showing "xperia" logo.. Am i right?
U can unlock.. Search for the Sony official unlocking method on Google.. Everything is given over there.. As far as I remember it needs fastboot to work..

You don't need the phone on. Just remove the battery and the IMEI is the 15 digit number next to the S/N code. This number comes with dash, you have to take them out.

but 2 hours ago i tried it agin after unlocking BL and it worked like magic!!!!!!!
but i recieved the same old errors like "google service stopped working"
so i did a factory reset and erase internal data. and it stopped showing those errors again!!
just everything seems to be workin as it should be!!! like magic! XD
