Samsung galaxy sIII pre order opinion - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

What is everyone's opinion on launch day phones? Do you think it is safe to go ahead and pre order the phone, or do you think that launch day phones tend to have more problems and its worth waiting a little after launch to ensure that you have a good quality phone.
Thanks for your opinions!

im still on the fence about this phone... but i hear what your saying... i would def wait, play with it in the store 1st, hold on for a bit cause most 1st product lines do have problems, but sammy does make awesome phones

Most times there will be issues its always better to wait if you can. Several benefits any issues found in first batch are generally sorted out in.next few batches. Price drop more choices and options.

Well my SGS2 was launch day issue and i had no problem .It was also a made in Korea phone rather than the later builds from other countries . Noticeable that S3 just says made by Samsung .
One would presume that Samsung are on a continual build program rather than knocking out a batch for day one .Firmware did improve over the months on SGS2 .

Get SGS2 II now or wait?

So here's the story. My Captivate just died on me randomly. I tried pulling battery, plugging in the charger and out. I even dropped it a couple times for good measure to see if it suddenly starts up. It's only been a day but I'm assuming the worst and believe it's dead now (good one and half years). Right now At&t has the Samsung SGs2 for $10 to upgrade until March 28 and my upgrade eligibility just kicked in. Do you guys think it's better to wait until better phones come out or just pull the trigger now? I can't go without a phone for a long time so I need to decide soon lol.
I know the SGS2 doesn't have 4G LTE and only the fake 4G, but I'll be sticking to wifi mostly anyway so it's not a huge deal. I just know the Nokia Lumia is coming next month and it looks great, but I'd rather stick to android at this point, plus that phone will be $200 to upgrade compared to $10 for SGS2 lol.
Man, if u can wait another 3 months and if ur upgrade allows, go for GS3.
Till then GS2 is the Champ.
Others are hopeless duds.

Get it now! SGS2 rules! The design, performace, price and custumization options are great.
If you wait, you'll be waiting forever, becouse always there will be another release!

That's definitely true for electronics lol. Don't ever ask this question for laptops. Someone will always tell you to wait for the next great thing in processors, GPU, HDD, cheaper SSD drives or w/e. Then ppl will come on n troll the ppl who say this and things go south quick lol.

And that's the big delima right now. I'm leaning towards buy since the price factor. I wouldn't pay $200 even for a brand new SGS3, I'd have to wait for it to drop under $100.
And I posted this in the wrong SGSII section lol. I'll be getting the ATT one.

FYI, AT&T GS2 is the SGH-I777. This is the I9100 forum. If you do end up getting the phone from ATT, make sure you only flash firmwares for the I777.
Also, ATT DOES have an LTE enabled GS2 called the Skyrocket, which is yet another phone (SGH-I727). Both of these phones have their own, separate forums. Again, if you get THIS phone, make sure you only flash firmwares for this phone.
EDIT: oops, saw that you realized this. Sorry.
me also want to buy gs2 i9100( not g version)).is this ok and also want to know dat i9100 is a year old phone so is there any possibility of decreasing development in future...pls me also in hurry to buy..pls give me ur precious advice..

DX2 Users looking to upgrade

Just wondering what phones X2 owners were looking at for when their upgrade rolls around. I was thinking about the nexus or the S2. Not sure yet. I'm eligible for an early upgrade and I have no idea what phone I should get. I like rooting my device and playing around with it, so probably something that doesn't have a locked bootloader. I like the X2 because it's completely touchscreen, I hate the slideout keyboards. Then again I might wait to see what comes out in the next 3 months I have left on my contract. What are your thoughts? What do you guys want next?

I might look at getting an HTC, maybe a samsung.
Samsung Galaxy SIII. It'll be well worth the wait. As long as you can wait till July/August...
I will be getting the latest Google/Galaxy phone when June 2013 rolls around. *cries*

^ Agree with these guys. If you upgrade now, I would go with either the HTC Rezound or Samsung Galaxy Nexus. I just traded my iPhone (wasn't using it) for a Nexus, then gave the Nexus to my friend. I must admit... it is gorgeous. But if you decide to wait, I think the Galaxy SIII or the HTC One X would be aaaaahhhhmazing.
S3 looks like it may not be all that hot. Some say its a little upgrade, who knows. I can upgrade whenever thanks to my BBB complaint. Ill wait to see how that phone comes out then ill upgrade to Rezound or that. Nexus looks great but battery is terrible even the extended is crap. I'll take a 13nm phone with a 2750 battery over one that doesnt do much.
Verizon was dumb for not grabbing the note... Journal is a horrible name but I would have loved to switch for one, played with one for about half an hour... Its amazing even on stock and this screen is now way way to small, the note comes close to being the right size for my hand its barely to small bit if it comes to verizon its gonna be to late, A 5.6in screen with a trident style case is now my hope for the future. Im wanting a quad core with 2gb ram a massive battery and a big screen i dont care if it's heavy and fat... I want power to go

I would have to take a real hard look at the note if we got it. If not I may leave Verizon to get one.
I got a Dinc2 as a replacement for the X2 3 weeks ago. I will not go back to a locked phone again, I love this thing and I love HTC's build quality. If I stick with Verizon I'll be looking at a rezound this fall, should be cheap to upgrade to by then.
From my Inc2 running Inc2 HD
Not sure what i'll get but I'm hoping there will be more architecture similar to the 3 in 1 Asus Padphone.
Yea I'm waiting for May 3rd to see GS3 and then go from their. To me its ALL about the battery, here's to something that's over 2200 or whatever they think it is. A non removable phone that has THST LOW of a battery is laughable for those specs. I don't think many would deny that.

What is the likelihood of we getting a S3 this summer? I was (and still am a little) skeptical of the Big Red getting the SIII... But the rumor mill is cranking out stories like the SIII is slated for release on Verizon, T-Mobile and AT&T... So may be I don't hafta kill a kitty this summer... Verizon, you may have just saved the lives of 1.1 Kitties... And you may have not effed me in the ass! Seriously, Big R's mobile lineup is an orgy of fugly looking Motorola phones and oh no-good-excuse-of-a-smartphones from Sammy (except the Gnex) and I believe just 1 good'ne from HTC... So basically 2 phones worth buying... Appalling stuff, Red.. Same story with AT&T... We are being bombarded by mediocre phones, man!
Lol yea I accidentally misstyped that on this crappy phone. My BBB complaint, is over and they're letting me upgrade anytime so deff. waiting to at least May 3rd. Also theirs a rumor VZW will be getting it first before anyone in the U.S so we shall see. Then we have the Razr HD... ok. Yea maybe... prolly not.

Yep, it's getting to the point that I don't care how good they're damn network is if the phones are so overloaded with crap and bugs that they won't run right the network is useless.
I got a pair of Dinc2's as a replacement for mine and my wife's X2's. She wanted to run stock for awhile. She doesn't use many apps, mostly FB, words with friends, couple of games. But she's on the phone constantly. Well the one thing that should work is the damn phone, and while it does its just not laid out well. However she is constantly getting force closes, has to manually sync her email, stuff like that.
I'm done with big red when this contract is up I think. The network is great and they're customer service has been great, but every phone has been ****. I shouldn't have to hack a phone and load a custom Rom just to make it operate correctly and reliably, it should do that out of the box. Only reason I should have to hack it is because I want to play with it, customize it to my liking. NOT TO MAKE IT JUST WORK THE WAY IT'S SUPPOSED TO.
Verizon can kiss my ass.

Drawbacks should I encounter after buying S3

Hello,
I want to buy a second-hand pebble blue S3 for 220euros. Apparently it is in good conditions, it works perfectly, everything is in order. I wanted Note2 but there is no longer in stock (~350euros 2hand). I want to know couple things about this S3. My brothers have S1 and S2 and no serious problems so far (owned for more than 2 years)
1. Is it a durable device?
2. What problems could I encounter?
3. Is there any way to check the history of the phone? (e.g. how many hours have been spoken)
4. I am not going to root/mod it in any way, which genuine software version seems to be the best?
5. Is there any differences between white and pebble blue version?
6. Compared to Note2, is it a major difference? (apart from the screen size)
7. What about the price? Does it seem right?
I would appreciate if anybody would sincerely answer my questions.
P.S: I do not want HTC/LG alternatives as I do not trust them. (already had experiences with their products and they're rubbish).

As far i know..
1. It's up to you... do not try harmful things (installing wrong roms/mods) and it will be solid as a rock.
1a. If you install the correct mods/roms (which one is ok for your phone) it will fly!
4. the latest Official (4.1.2 At the moment; watch out for EMG4 new EFS Data format) firmware
5. Colour? :cyclops:

Read the threads here about Sudden Death and Freezing. I had fits with the freezing issue. While mine is working fine now (after a LOT of pain), I would not recommend it due to this.
I'm about to sell the phone, honestly I would recommend you go and get the Note II if you are on a budget, this isn't the best phone ever, it could have been the best phone of 2012 if it had 2GB of ram, 1GB just isn't enough anymore.
I dont see any reason not to get this phone, if you get it that cheap in a good condition. 2gb are not really necessary. The only downside it has is the UI touchwiz which is kind of slow and overloaded, but this is still an issue on the note 2/3 and s4. But to be honest, other custom UIs from htc and so on are not really better.
The sudden death syndrome also shouldnt affect you, as long as the phone was updated to 4.1.
Sent from my GT-I9300 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
I found a cheaper one, at ~210 euros, white, 16gb. I know that 1GB RAM might not be enough, this is why I wanted Note2 (i like the bigger screen too). Unfortunately, I am worried about the durability of the Note2 because theoretically it does not come with Gorilla Glass. I work in kind of severe conditions, I'm a mechanic (ofc the phone will sit in a comfy hard leather). Also, is more than 100 euros more expensive and I'm a bit tight with money. Regarding the S3, I've read about the update that fixed the sudden death syndrome, but I've also heard that the phone might stop working after 150-200 days (at least some people said so). Should I be afraid of this or not?
Update: the cheapest Note2 I've found is at ~330 euros. The extra 120 euros are not justified. My brother has S2 (same 1GB RAM) and it does just fine, not to mention that even the S1 handles pretty well with 512MB .
In conclusion, I am going to buy a 2nd-hand S3 i9300 (used ~ a year or less). It looks and works normal, as it should. Considering the fact that I am paying over 200 euros for it, I really want to be sure that I am making a good decision. So far, S1 and S2 did an amazing job, so I am expecting the same from the S3. If are there any problems/reasons not to buy it, please enlighten me up. (apart from SDS if it isn't already fixed or it won't get fixed after software update)
I just want to say, like you, I went with the exact same reasoning about the 1gb on the s3. I upgraded from the s1 and also thought Samsung did a good job with the s1 and s2, etc. Well, not so. Thing is, they bloated the phone so bad that 1gb is really REALLY short. All i'm saying is that way of thinking is wrong and I thought you'd want this clarified.
That said, 1gb is not the end of the world (just the end of multitasking lol) and for the price you're paying I do believe it's totally worth it. Phone is still a beast on most cases and you probably won't be disappointed.
About the sds, had one s3 failing 1 weak after buying. Ics was the firmware of the moment and therefore not safe. Was replaced by a new one and never had another issue. If you can use the phone for 1 day before buying you can check for random freezing and rebooting. Those are really clear signs of imminent failure. To be honest, I've not heard of anyone's phone falling on a 150, 200 days timeframe. People do complaint about a bit of lag from time to time and and like to think thats the 'fix' working.

Thank you for the 'gold' info. about 1GB RAM not being enough for S3. Obviously, I/we tend to mix things up and compare an unknown thing with a related known one. But at the end of the day I have no other choice, I just can't see any better option at this value. Moreover, I had couple occasions to play with it a bit and I find it really fast, responsive (while surfing on the internet for instance). Anyway, I am not going to push it to extremes. Mostly surfing the internet, talking, messages, FB, maybe music, couple games (just in case I get too bored when I am waiting or sth ). After all, every phone freezes from time to time, it isn't something specific to S3.
Thank you for the precious info, mate. :good:

Those phones dont fit his current budget. Also, htc is definitely not fast at updating their devices. It only seems to look like this, since they recently updated their flagship, but thats it.
@op, you are definitely not doing anything wrong with the s3. Guess why it was and is still very popular

The only thing that holds me from buying HTCs is the fact that the battery is not removable. I always had a spare battery with me wherever I went (in the car/jacket/blazer). Same rule will apply for the S3.

Get G2 now or wait for a newer phone?

What do you guys think? Should I get the G2 now or wait until a new phone comes out such as the S5? I know if I keep waiting newer and better devices will keep appearing, but I want to get the best of the best for a 2 year contract and don't want to be disappointed with a phone that has any big flaws.
As far as I know, the G2 has a few flaws I might be bothered with such as games not playing with good fps, the phone getting hot while playing games, video recording quality issues, lag issues in the web browser, and also unsure if LG will be supporting this phone with timely updates. All of these issues I've heard on this forum.
Sent from my ADR6425LVW using xda app-developers app
Well if the S5 is coming in Feb/March/Aprilish like people are saying, thats already 4-6 months into your contract, if it even really comes out. Maybe they will wait until June like previous models, then you are at like 8 months into your contract. Will it have issues? Probably- basically all phones have issues. Are the G2 issues big enough for you to not be happy? Maybe try the phone for 14 days? I have noticed some lag in browsing with chrome. I need to test other browsers to see if there is a better one. I hope LG updates their phone as it's been very well received for the most part.
Phones are outdated so fast these days. I would recommend picking up a G2 for the trial period and see how you like it. There is no harm in that and it may surprise you. If it doesn't, return the phone and keep your upgrade. :good:
Really depends on how bad your current phone is. Current top phones that are in market are LG G2, Note 3, Nexus 5 (not in any particular order). Newer phones that are rumored are S5 and HTC M8, and probably a release date around March or April. If you can wait that long then wait. I jumped from Galaxy Nexus (Vzw), in September to LG G2, simply because it was great looking phone with specs and got for $140 on 2 year contract and I am glad I made that decision, this phone is awesome. Two things I wanted in new phone battery life and speed and this phone does just that.
Yea. I agree with posts above. The newest and best phones are constantly being released so it won't be long for an even better phone to come out. Even if you wait until the s5 comes out an even better phone will be released shortly after. I personally think that the lg g2 is a great phone and I could not be happier with it. This is my first android phone and there is definitely a lot to like about android and the lg g2
Sent from my LG-VS980 using Tapatalk
Some of the issues may be big enough for me, unless there are solutions to them such as software updates from LG. Mainly lag and gaming fps/heat issues. But I understand no phone is perfect. I can't get the nexus 5 because I'm on Verizon and I don't know if I want to switch because of the service and plan I have with them.
If I do a 14 day trial do I get a full refund of my money if I don't like it or do I have to pat anything? I remember one time one of my family members got a phone with Verizon and soon after returned and we had to pay for the use of service or something.
Also I currently have an HTC Rezound.

I think at this point in the year all of the carriers/manufacturers have their respective big guns out for the holiday shoppers. I really don't expect any other" must haves" to come until sometime first quarter of 2014, so wysiwyg for now.
For me, the time was now, in fact it's been exactly 2yrs; got the og razr the first day, 11/11/11, and moved up to the g2 yesterday (after a lot of research). What did it for me was the Verizon promo that ended yesterday. Got the phone for free and kept my unlimited data? win:win.

Go now and start enjoying. Better phones will always come out. That said I find it hard to believe (phablets aside) any phone in the near future will offer the performance to battery life of the G2. Sure a faster CPU may come out next year, or a phone may have a nicer build/body (HTC), but all around I doubt the Galaxy S5 or new HTC will offer anything of real significance over the G2.

The whole heat issue I think many people misunderstand especially if coming from a lower power phone.
These SoC chips have better GPU than average laptop integrated graphics, high clockspeeds and no room for a heatsink.
It is pushing 2 million pixels to the screen, per rendered frame. Of course its gonna heat up.....as long as it is within SoC thermal limits it is of no concern
I have the G2 and notice none of this game lag or heat issue at all i dunno where you heard this?
I can assure you no phone has better integrated gpu than a laptop.

If I do a 14 day trial do I get a full refund of my money if I don't like it or do I have to pat anything? I remember one time one of my family members got a phone with Verizon and soon after returned and we had to pay for the use of service or something.

I don't know how it works on Verizon, but with Sprint any phone you purchase has a period of 14 days where you can return it for a full refund. Sometimes companies may charge an activation fee of like 20-35 bucks. All carriers have a sort of "trial period" where you can return the phone, but they may each bit a little different. You could try calling your nearest Verizon store and ask them, or maybe try chatting with support online, or just calling Verizon's customer service number online.
The gaming lag may be isolated to a specific model, or maybe a user made certain tweaks, etc. Also could be app related and require the app developer to make a tweak for a phone, etc. There are so many factors its hard to say, but personal hands on experience is always best.
Totes go for the G2

Take the plunge!! It's a future proofed phone man. I buy and sell phones where I am on craigslist and so have used about 80 different kinds this year. My favourites up till the G2 were the HTC One, Moto X and Optimus G. However upon using the G2 i experienced a fluidity and power I've yet to see matched. I mean sure every phone has is caveats but if theres one thing I know its that galaxy devices are known for there fair share of Lag. You can fix the G2's problems with some tweaks/roms/ settings changes. I've yet to have an overheating device when i play dead trigger 2 and nova 3 but not all devices are the same right, theres a ton of disimilarities even within the same model. If you got the cash go for it or the Nexus 5
I say now. What else do you need in a smartphone? The screen is fantastic, the battery is better than any standard device, the processor will handle anything for a very long time, and the camera is in the top tier.
What else do we need?
Since you are on Verizon, did you see the deal few days ago on G2? It was Free with 2 year contract.
The G2 is bleeding edge right now. There will always be another device "down the road" so you might as well have the best while you can.

I have had not a single problem with my G2 when gaming in fact it is the best phone I've used for gaming by far. As for heat issues there is none. For some people they say it's get so hot that it burns them but for 99% of people it is barely hot to the touch. I guess it depends on your heat tolerance.

Exactly. I don't need a high end phone but I decided to go with the LG G2 because I think it's a very capable well-rounded device. Since I am also locked into a 2 year contract, I'd expect my phone to last at least for the next 2 years and I think it won't be a problem with the LG G2. Some of the mid-range phones I got previously felt dated 6 months later.
There will always be another phone on the horizon. But the G2 and other newer phones will likely have the same 800 processor as the upcoming ones and none of the "big three" out right now would ever be classified as bad phones. Get one now if you need it, or get one later if you want to wait.
I was in the same boat. I was thinking about waiting for the S5 as well, I had been due for an upgrade since June of 2012. I really had an itch to get a new phone so I took the plunge and got the G2. Some places say the S5 will come out in January, what if it comes out in the summer? It's a roll of the dice. One thing that made the decision easier was that this device has the latest hardware. ..
I'm happy with it so far, love the knock on feature, battery and customization.

Thanks for the advice guys. I'm still indecisive and the other issue I'm struggling with is that I don't really need another smartphone cuz the rezound I have has been working good for me. It's just I'd rather have a faster and smoother phone with better battery life and the latest specs. My rezound lags and the battery is terrible, but it's a great phone.
I was aware of the Verizon deal, but didn't go for the deal. One problem for me money-wise is that even if the phone were to be free, I'd have to pay tax on the full price of the phone because I live in California.

For anyone wondering if they should get a phone, or wait, just buy the phone you want, not because it's the fastest or newest. There will always be new phones announced, and there will always be rumors. If you keep waiting, you'll never upgrade until you have to. That's what happened to me. I was a long time Motorola user, since the first Droid, but I waited and waited, and waited for the first Moto/Google phone, and was severely disappointed. The only good thing that happened because of all the waiting was I got a G2. Glad I pulled the trigger, and I won't be looking back.

I think at this point in the year all of the carriers/manufacturers have their respective big guns out for the holiday shoppers. I really don't expect any other" must haves" to come until sometime first quarter of 2014, so wysiwyg for now.

How the hell did you keep your unlimited data? My wife wants a G2 now that shes used mine, but can't upgrade because we're grandfathered in. I had to buy mine off ebay for close to full price.

I believe Verizon charges a restocking fee of like $35, but that might be just the 3rd party stores, because I went through Verizon when I exchanged and they didn't charge me an activation fee or a restocking fee. This was through online and over the phone btw.

Samsung Note 7 faulty and replacement or had enough

This thread is for those who have received their note 7 and are returning it due to battery issue or other issues like build quality, screen scratching easily, lag etc
I'm still on pre-order and no sign of stock but i checked on CPW website uk and its stating date of 21st Oct.
Also those who like me still waiting for phone. I'm really considering cancelling my order and wait for Iphone 7 plus, Google pixel xl, Moto Z, LG V20 I hate it when a top end phone lags or isn't buttery smooth.
Would be interesting to know if you're waiting for replacement and how long is the wait? Also if change of mind and y and what will you purchase instead?
I'm in the uk BTW.

I'm returning mine because of the battery. I've found the phone to be excellent with absolutely no lag or stutter. In fact I'd go as far as go say it's smoother than my Nexus 6P which had thermal throttling performance problems. I'm waiting for a replacement from Samsung as this is the phone of the year for me. I believe the Exynos version the UK has is more fluent than the US Snapdragon version. Samsung told me it was a minimum of 3 weeks for a replacement.

Another interesting point, some who have tried to return product have been told to keep the phone until replacement. This includes amazon and cpw the reason I believe none of the retailers are willing to take the risk of a potential fire in their premises. Imagine having hundreds or even thousands of these phones just waiting to set on fire. Just in case if anyone was wondering.
Amazon is issuesing refunds and asking their customers to keep the phone until further notice, might be the case for some lucky buyers get refund and get to keep phone.

CPW have changed their position today, automated message advises to contact Samsung for a replacement, however, when I got through the advisor said they actually want the phone back immediately due to the fire risk.

That makes sense must have deliberated between lawyers as who would be liable etc.
Risk of fire is probably very low but not worth taking risk.
all other competitors will be loving it especially apple, this all plays nicely into the hands of Apple. What timing.

That's interesting no lag or stutter at all, smoother then nexus 6p. I must admit I do find that hard to believe however if what you say is accurate then I could give it more thought.
I wonder if anyone else has found it buttery smooth.
im still waiting for my preorder. #TeamFinland #LateAf... Jesus christ i just want my note man.. been waiting for ages and everybody else already got it. Im already getting over the hype lol.

I'll have to see this to believe it, the unit i tested in CPW stuttered lag. Even the reviewers on youtube all suggest there is lag.
I hate lag also and my Note 7 is great, I see no lag or stutter, no overheating. It runs great. I was worried about Touchwiz but it's fine.

This will be a first if there's absolutely no stutter or lag in note 7. Still not convinced as every Samsung phone I've owned has shown lag.

Mine also is smooth as silk, its a great phone, i'll wait for a new one. I gave my details to samsung customer care yesterday. I also kept my old phone, while i wait, i change the option of fast charging to off. Also i charge phone when i am awake and keep a eye on it. Honesty it doesn't even heat up while charging. I also sometimes shut it off when charging sometimes. I am not worried that it will catch fire. I think the ones that have a problem would show symptoms, just like us when we have problems we have symptoms!

yes agree, i had a note 3, 4 (long time) and short time with a 5, but note 7 is in another category all together in the way it operates. I didn't use touch wiz because i have been always using Nova with no animation. I really like this phone it's beautiful to look at great in the hand and works without fault.....
I'm debating. Dropped mine today from about a foot onto tile and the screen shattered. Using a Spigen neo hybrid too... I'm so torn. Love the Note, but wtf!

Thats a real bummer!!! Good news i would think it is still covered for a replacement! But according to corning glass it could happen 20% of the time and 80% it should be ok. maybe the angle it hits the ground and surface. I for sure have no expertise in these matters...But i feel for you and all of us that invested in this phone....we shouldn't be experiments for these large companies to test their products!
I returned for a refund and now am back using my Note5. But I will rebuy the Note7 once I am sure the battery issue is fixed.

How did Samsung mess up? Its a developing story and they responded as soon as they could. Do some of you sit anxiously waiting to catch your next breath??????
They've identified the issue within a couple of days and are working on a resolution plan which is why they are saying they'll contact us in the next week once stock and plans are understood!
The problem has been the messages coming from retailers and we all know they are full of sh.. just to get you off the phone!
Give them time. I'd rather this was managed that rushed with mistakes.
If you fancy an iphone then what are you doing on Android waiting for the note7. If you jump to the LG...good luck there. I've never even seen v10 in the UK! And how do you know they won't have an unlucky problem...**** happens

Do phones catch fire when turned off?
I'm sure the real reason for leaving phones with customers until exchange is that they know the risk is low so why inconvenience customers by taking their phones off them and potentially leaving them without and at the back of the queue having refunded them. It doesn't work.

Wow man. Easy tiger I think people have the right to be annoyed frustrated considering the nature of the problem. Battery exploding I mean it's pretty bad, yes they are trying to resolve the issue but people expect better especially when you fork out around £700.
As for sharing info, experience, sentiments and considering other options is nothing new. No one should feel threatened by it. This is the way of the world, it maybe not right or wrong but it's the way it is.
So dude join the discussion and take it easy.
