Same problem ! What I noticed is that the battery gets hot. And then it starts discharging.
You can use "THIS" method to caliberate your battery.
Or what I did was charge it till 100%, unplugged it, and then I switched it off. Took out the battery, and kept it like that for an hour or two, and then put it back, and again charged it till 100% in offline mode.
Well, this worked for me.
You can try it out

Try also cleaning battery stats in xrecovery.
And firstly check with CPU spy if your phone is not in highest freq every time and goes into deep sleep. It happened many users with some ROMs, so many that I didnt understood it

Hello,
I met such problem too when i was charging.
1.It will drop and increase back to 100% eventually. Try take out ur battery and recharge. Sometimes not everytime the case successful.
2.How about you try to charge your phone from different places? I tried charging my phone when phone is off in my HOUSE, it will never reach 100% =.= But if i go somewhere like other place/states, the battery fully charged!!! Perhaps something to do with our household electric charge current, i think.
Hope this experience helps

Sounds like you need a new USB charger lead, they can be found on eBay for £3.45 plus mine used to Di that means it's broken

[Solved] battery drained out and now stuck on battery charging screen

Hi,
I flashed the newest CyanogenMOD nightly on my SGS II previously running Villain ROM 2.1 with CF-Root kernel. Things were ok but I missed out on battery getting extremely low. After some time the phone went dead [due to complete battery drain] so I plugged it via USB cable to my laptop's USB port. Now it's been over an hour and all I see is the empty battery symbol re-flashing every 3 seconds [It's the same grey empty battery with a circle in middle].
I have tried booting the phone normally as well as in recovery but nothing happens! The battery empty symbol keeps flashing. I tried accessing download mode but it says "Battery Low. Can't Download". Can anyone please help me with this ?
Should I wait for couple of more hours or is my phone screwed, bricked or whatever....
Please try your AC adapter to charge. Keep it charging overnight just in case.
don't have the AC adapter now because it's in my office. But tomorrow this is the first thing that I'll do when I go there. will report if it works....
I hope it will work. Just keep it charging. That battery needs a kick in the A.

Your battery needs shock
Wrap it in a plastic case and seal it, put it in deep fridger for 3 -4 hrs, take it out and leave it until it gets the room temprature.
Now you need to charge it with slighly higher amp voltage charger and hopefully it will revive

I've got a problem in my phone, currently using a custom rom 7.1.2 by resurrection Remix on Lenovo A6000, I charged the battery normally upto 100, its discharge was normal till 71 percent. The battery dropped directly from 71 to 50 and now it has been at least 3hours that it is showing 50 percent. Few days ago I got another problem, the battery was 70 percent and then dropped to 53percent and then showed 69 percent. Anyone can help me please? I just wanna know if its just a minor bug or my battery has been screwed...

make a test disabling the data/wifi and bluetooth, don't use full brightness in the screen after that use it normally if in those conditions the battery still drains in 3 hours then I dare to say that is something in the hardware of the phone
DONE all of that ! tried everything trust me well i think ive tried everything, im on stock rom now, calibrating my battery again and again till i get 100% after restart, because whenever i charge it charges in like 20 minutes, lets see how i go, sometimes with 30% battery i get 4 hours, sometimes with 100% battery i get 4 hours battery, makes no sense whatsoever.
If u want u can tried to change a new battery

you would never get 100% after restart because the phone uses battery when booting and loading the system.
calibrating if you are talking about the option that erase the file that have the stats of the battery that isn't going to change anything if your phone discharge in x minutes it will still discharge in that same amount of time because that method of calibration is a kind of reset to the %display in the phone nothing else.
if you can. try measuring the mA of the battery after charging it with a tester, then measure it again when the phone display something like 50% of charge it shouldn't vary a lot if the battery is in a good state.
but you in the first post said that you have tried with a new battery and still get the same time. and at the same time say that you have tried the phone with the data off. and get discharged quickly. if that is accurate then your phone have some kind of hardware failure that is making it use more battery than necessary, so you should send it to repair.
ps: also you can check the phone signal if you are in an area with poor reception the phone will use more battery because it will need to use more potency to establish a link with the cell tower.

nope not in an area with poor signal, ok im thinkin its an hardware failure as well, i might need to buy an external charger , my charging port might be screwed up, but like when i let my battery die down a little bit, and then i calibrate when it is at about 40% i then wipe battery stats and restart phone its at 22% and it stayed at 22% all night i didnt put it too charge and i listened to music for about 30 minutes or so, now i dont know what the f*** is going on i love my x10 mini pro, i just want this solved
I sort of got this kind of problem when i was running MiniCM2.2.0. It really buggered up the battery, it would lose about 7 or 8 percent when i was just looking at the lockscreen after powering up my phone.
Sometimes it will just drain like in no time at all, complain that i have to charge it, but when I turn off the phone and restart it, and it will say i'm at 60 percent. sometimes that is true, sometimes not, i only put it on the charger when I'm reasonably sure there is no power left, ie, if after a restart of two or three it will still say i'm under 10%.
So, whenever it runs out of power,do a restart and see how much power you've got left. don't charge it until you're absolutely sure you have to. Still not sure where it leads to, but I don't think i'll get back the battery-endurance i had before., which was about 3 or 4 days on fairly minimal use, without 3g or wifi.
(PS: Don't wipe battery stats until the phone is fully charged. Charging it from just about nothing to 100% in one go and then wiping the stats seems to give me best result.)

hmmmm yes thats like my problem, ive wipe the battery at 100 most the time, and it works, but not well enough at all. ill try that buddy ! thanks and i might have a solution in mind, i think it is our phones charging capability not only the roms fault, cause im at stock now and still same problem, im going to try charge battery externally see where it gets me

yep ive tried different charger and charging through USB. same thing charges to 100% really fast, and comes back down really fast, every single time i restart my phone after it has charged to one hundred percentage drops by 20% until it has come to its real charged percentage i think it is in the hardware of my phone, am i able to connect a bst38 battery to an old nokia to try charge the phone?

SGA Battery problems

Hi!
I don't know why and how but I think the battery of my phone died. My phone is about 1 year old. It is fully charged then I remove the charger and then I start using my phone for about 15 minutes. After it the phone turns off with the reason battery is down. I plug in the charger(phone off) and it starts charging from 60-70 % and after about 30 minutes it says "Fully charged". Then it starts from the beginning. I tried flashing other ROMs, wiping battery stats... I think the detection of how much the battery is charged went wrong.. So if you guys could tell me another way which can maybe help i would appreciate it.. or the last chance is taking it back to service.
Thanks in advance!
psychoo118
I think you must buy a new battery as the same thing happened with my friend and he bought a new battery and the problem was solved.
otherwise check if your battery has any leakage
if it has leakage then replace the battery immediately with a new one.

Thanks for your reply! Don't you know maybe if guarantee covered the battery change?
The battery is old
Buy other
Or try calibrating
For future reference, the battery only indicates 100% but it's usually not 100%. I forgot the term but the reason for this happening is because the indicator
jumps up to 100% when it's actually (let's say) 95%, when it reaches to 100% (for real) it stops charging and will let itself discharge until it reaches
a point where it starts to recharge again. During the whole time it will say 100% even though it's discharing or recharging, when plugged in.
So therefore when you unplug it and it shows a lower percentage after awhile, that's when it is actually showing you the "real" power left.
("real", since the indicator isnt quite accurate anyway)

[Q] Xperia u weird battery and charging problem :/

Hey so yesterday my xperia u's battery apperently drained out fully and it wouldnt come on no matter what .. neither did it charge, so i did alot of reading and i saw a post that said keep it on charger for a long time, so i did today
like two hours later i saw that my battery had started to charge but was charging really really slowly.. but anyhow i left it to charge to a 100%
then i disconnected from charger and used the phone and everything was normal .... until when the phone said low battery( it took just 3 hours ) i put it too charge but the phone said it was charging .. (at least the battery icon and the lockscreen said it was) but the device kept giving me the low battery sign until now it the phone shut down and it wont charge again ...
does anyone know a fix for this ?
ps . i am running AOKP rom with transendance kernal and the phone is like one year old now and unlocked bootloader and i used only the adopter and cable provided with the phone

Battery drop issue/problem solved.

the most annoying problem in canvas hd is the battery drop problem.
For some users the battery may drop all of a sudden from 34% to 12% while for some it may be different. For me it was always 34% - 12%.
Now the one important thing that I observed was that when I used to charge my mobile , the charging jumped straight from 76% to 100% . In my view the battery was never charged for the last 20%. And it was this 20% that appeared as the sudden drop.
Now coming to the solution..
Battery calibration and wiping batterystats.bin actually never solved the problem because I tried both.I don't know if changing the Kernel did.
So I have come up with one solution that won't disappoint you..
Follow the steps..
1. Let your battery drain to below 10%.. say 8% ..
2. Charge your battery like u always do..
3. When the battery reaches 100% , do not disconnect the charger, go to System settings and then battery and check the graph..(don't disconnect the charger because doing so will reset the graph).
4. notice the sudden increase in battery charging.
5. Use the phone as u always do and let it discharge to 70% ..
6.Here comes the LIFE SAVING STEP..Now what you have to do is charge your phone in one go..there should be no interruption in charging..If the electricity goes off even for a second..the whole process fails..so prefer using a UPS..
7. Let the battery charge to 100% and use normally.
8. Its my guarantee that the battery drop is gone.
The bad part..
The problem reappears after a reboot.. and we have to repeat the procedure again.
Come on , Don't be PANIC about sudden drop ,First of All letting the battery drop from 100% to 1% leads to fluctuation in battery volt,be aware about it ,Don't use your chd while charging is most important ! if you may use your chd normally like noob users who only use fb.watsupp etc whenever they need ,it won't drop like 30-12% ,fast drain made by users leads to bloat of battery ! high volt ofbattery from 90-100% has corrosive effect if you drain fast then your battery would PREGNANT or fat or swell
DON"T PANIC USE YOUR DEVICE AS A PHONE

well this is silly I've had same problem but after battery calibration it doesn't appear again and if you're using your phone processor constantly at high power As for Huge game or something then faster battery drain is normal !
I use DS Battery Saver which helps me saving my battery as per my use ! worth a try !!
