Here are a couple of Android keyboards I made. I like to switch between this and the HTC one. I have Green, Dark Blue, Grey, Red, White right now. These should work on any rom. Have fun

Each one is one color. You would have to download a different color and flash it in recovery. To change keyboards you long press the input field and then press input method and choose Android Keyboard. Hope this helps.

Made this for myself and forgot to sign it, so I had to make an update.zip and flash it, so I figured, why not just share the package?

Just put it at the root of your SD Card and select "Install update.zip from SD Card", just to make it even simpler.
NOTE: THIS WAS DESIGNED FOR CM7 NIGHTLY 243, IT MAY OR MAY NOT WORK WITH OTHER NIGHTLIES !!!!! ( It most likely will not work with any stable build.) TRY AT YOUR OWN RISK !!!
Nandroid backup is recommended, just in case it fails.
Just flashed and it seems to be working, I never really paid attention to the old transitions except for now, so I guess it worked, and works flawlessly.

Edit: dammit found a small problem, the pop up message for go SMS isn't centered and is sized differently and a little cut off, but I can put up with it.

No, its the animation for when an app is open, closed, and replaces the usual slide transitions in places like settings, etc.

Don't know if its been mentioned but here's a link to a pretty good theme. http://brobot175.co.uk/MetroUI/MetroUI.html There's a video and a tutorial but you have to be running AOKP or Virtuous roms to install.

I stopped trying and now i'm trying to get a hold of the developer, it installed the apps though which is weird!
I wonder if it has to be a deodexed rom? I think aokp was deodexed at some point and I know virtuous is.

Question for you. I'm trying to set this up, but in Desktop Visualizer, I cannot get to the settings, I do not have any options for it? I'd rather not have to do the single options for each single part. Any help you can offer?

1) yes its definitely worth the flash!!!
2) I could not find the settings either, so I setup the tiles with the recommended settings for each individual tile. It was very time consuming but in the end I got an awesome result!
So I've got this set up. It was time consuming, but I really like the way it looks except for one thing. The pulse widget is slightly smaller than the rest, and it drives me crazy. I like the widget for what it does accept for that. Any ways to fix it? Resizing it does nothing.

yeah that happened when i updated to ICS and i spent weeks trying to fix it :L it annoys my perfectionist ways also
to those having problems with desktop visuliser go onto the touchpad forum then find a thread like this and one of the guys on there has contacted the dev and theyve sent him a version that works for the tablets that are having this problem
when i get time ill put this version of visuliser into your zips so youll get it when you flash
any problems to report over here ?

After you get the tile setup and on the home screen press and hold and then edit to resize.

i dont think that it will go away if you remove the sense keyboard
The only way it will go away is if there is just one keyboard installed, or if someone hacks fw-res. The way it acts now, it looks like it is treating voice keyboard and sense keyboard as separate entities.
I believe that is a feature of Android. Instead of long-pressing in a text field to get input options like it used to be, you use the notification.
I installed swiftkey 3 (paid) i think 3.99 it went away it comes back ever so often but as of now it's gone hope it helps

Also, it wasnt clear to me if you had installed the jelly bean 4.2 keyboard or not, so to install it go to this link: http://www.qbking77.com/android-42-jelly-bean-keyboard-review-and-install.html I have confirmed the .apk is 100% working on the DNA (I'm typing on it right now, well swiping.)

Every time I downloaded one of these through Chrome or ES File Explorer it kept giving me an error saying problem parsing package. So I used Chrome and opened up an incognito tab and downloaded the apk that way. You may even use a desktop computer to download it then transfer it to your phone. Just letting you know ahead of time you may get that error, but once you get it to install it looks pretty cool. They have several to choose from in the link I posted.

If you change the navigation bar button color to stock, you will see the original g3 home button color theme.

im using the exact same setup as you. i think this keyboard goes really good with it. its not a stock keyboard though. its swiftkey and a much better keyboard to me anyway

What kinda lock screen theme are you using? I'm using, lockmaster fun he themes. Got some pretty kewl lock screen themes......swifkey here I come.

I'm using SwiftKey. And I like it, lots of themes to choose from. Is there anyway to adjust the keyboard size it's a little to high, wanna shrink it a little.

hold the 123 key down and you will see resize also settings and everything else
