This has happened to me couple of times, not sure what triggered it.

it's getting very annoying now.. anyone help please ... i dont wanna regret for buying this phone

Seriously? This is getting hilarious...

It's under settings.. The music will start as soon as they are plugged in..
Not sure about stock music amp but in poweramp you can change this setting to stop it doing this.
Hope this helps a bit.

Can't unmute media volume

Yesterday I tried to play music in my truck via aux cable and it wouldn't work, didn't think much of it. Tried playing music this morning and the volume won't go up. I go into settings and turn media volume all the way up but it doesn't take effect. Go back there in settings and it's muted. Anyone know what's going on? Ringtones, notification sounds, etc. all work.
edit> at the moment it works. I went into Spiderman 3D game to see if sound worked in games, as soon as the game loaded music started playing, which is weird.
You sure you don't have a toggle switch for vibrate or mute setup? If you don't, try adding one and unmute.

Yeah nothing was working. Maybe it was some random glitch with that game. I turned that game on yesterday waiting for my girlfriend to finish getting her nails done, showing off the 3D to some other poor sap waiting for his woman. Noticed the music issue after that.
Often times little glitches like this are solved by a simple reboot. Or even wiping cache/dalvik and then rebooting.

Stock Music Player restarts by itself.

Just wondered if anyone else has had this happen, really!
When listening to music through the stock player, I'll then pause the track (as in stop the track once I've gotten to work), back out of the player (rather than pressing home), then unplug the wired headphones, close the player using the task manager to stop the player entirely. All well and good so far...
Until I then connect the phone to the internet (either by network or WiFi) at a later point during the day, usually after a few hours. At that point, maybe after a few minutes of being connected, I'll see the pause icon appear in the top left of the notification bar. Without fail. Every time! I then have to go into the player, then back out of it to close it completely. Anyone else have that strange glitch?

I froze the stock player since samsung made it start up in the background all the time.
My advice, freez stock and use a 3. part player

Music wont resume after call over/via Bluetooth/Headset

So the problem is as basic as the thread title suggests.. Does anyone have a solution for this? I am using the default inbuilt native Music Player app..
I am not majorly fussed about this problem over the headset as I normally have a button on the headset.. But the problem does arise when I am using the Aux wire option in my Car..
But the problem arises when I connect to Bluetooth in my Car daily.. I am listening to music and in the middle of a track I get a call.. As soon as the call ends most phone resume the music from exactly where it left off.. but in my case the music refuses to start again and my car stereo has no capability to force the music to play from the phone where it was last playing.. So the only solution for me is to press my SRC (Source) button on my system in my car and then it will basically force a restart on the music player in my phone which will restart the song that I was listening to.. Normally that wouldn't be a problem but I listen to many huge 1-2 hr long sets of music and the whole flow gets disrupted if I have to listen to it from the start again.. Moreover its a pain to try and get it back to where it was to begin with.. I don't understand why Samsung have made this option so difficult.. They can easily have an option either way each user prefers.. A simple setting like Resume music after call Yes or No!
Anyway I just want a solution to this situation.. I use tasker too if that helps but I am an absolute basic user.. Any kind of solution will do really... Although I am a bit of a newbie to all this I am willing to learn and figure it out.. Also I want to remain on the Stock Rom that I am using.. Thanks in Advance..
Anyone? Help?

[Q] After unplugging earphones, phone switches silent mode off

Hi everybody
Whenever I was listening to music, stopped it and anplugged my earphones, my phone is no longer in silent mode! Somehow soundmode gets activated automatically. Seems not to be a big deal for most of you but I'm afraid I once forget to switch back to silent mode and someone calls me during a conference which would be embarrassing ...
Does anyone else encounter this problem? Bug or feature? :cyclops:
Dunno if you're willing to spend some money, there's an app called tasker. I might try factory reset first.
Had some problem where play music started playing music after I turned off the radio.. But that got sorted after I flashed another rom.

AW: [Q] After unplugging earphones, phone switches silent mode off
It seems that it occurs only when using Poweramp as music player. Tried DoubleTwist, MusicXMatch and Android Music Player but it never happened afterwards. Seems to be a Poweramp-related problem i've already tried reflashing, fullwipe, ...

Headphone control problem

Well,is anyone here that have problems with the headphone control?
Mine has problems, and i at least figured out that are not the headphones the problem. Is the phone. It just ignores the buttons ,if i press stop, forward ,duble tap, nothing happens.
Well my only problem now is to figure out if is a hardware problem or a software one.
This is not permanent, sometimes works for 4 hours without problems, and sometimes you skip a song or two,i press pause, and after that nothing works till i restart the phone .
Today i restarted the phone and still doesn't work...
I do not use any other player, i use stock rom, stock music player.... Suggestions? Please help me, any advice is good.
As you can see , sometimes the phone can detect that there is a handsfree headphone , and sometimes not , and sometimes even when he detects it's a hands free, doesn't work at all. Tried to move the jack , replug , restart phone .... i really don't know what is the problem :|
