In case some of you are having trouble getting your ringtone to repeat, here is the solution that worked for me - thanks to the person that figured it out. I know all of us can use Google, but life is short and this can save you some time to do something good for yourself or somebody else - it's all about sharing.
Open the ringtone with a tag editor like Mp3tag, foobar2000 etc. Then add a tag/field called “ANDROID_LOOP” and set it to “true”.
That's it - simple and effective. Now your ring tone WILL LOOP!
....or you could just make the rt shorter than the ring duration
This is meant for short ringtones that ring only once and do not loop.
If you favorite ring tone has silence at the end, you may want to trim it for better results.
Thanks, that's useful!
EXcuse me could you explain me the progress? I downloaded MP3TAG but i have no idea about a Tag/field and I dont understand anythib about send it to "true" could you send me screenshots or a video or something please DDD:

VAlert
Customize vibration on phone ring
This small program allows customizing vibration incoming call alerts.
Windows based phones vibrate either before the ring or constantly during the ring.
Having a short ringtone can possibly solve this problem, but with long mp3 ringtone the phone will constantly vibrate during the ring.
This program will enable Windows Mobile phones to produce short vibrations when the phone rings.
Vibration patterns can be easily changed by the user.
Possibly to match vibration patterns to the ringtone, so the phone will vibrate in a rhythm.
Very low (~4K) memory usage
This software is a freeware.
How to use
1. Install the CAB
2. Enjoy the program with default settings
3. The program is hidden by default. To display program window (if needed), run the program again
7. In Phone->Options make sure ring type is Vibrate and Ring
4. Edit script.txt to change vibration pattern. Every line in the file is a pair of vibration length and note pause
5. From the program window run Menu->Test to test the created pattern
6. Perform Menu->Hide to hide program window
What's new:
- More devices support, including non-HTC
- The installer executes the program upon installation (no soft reset required)
- No vibration on waiting call
- Support for incoming call ring mute (stop vibration)
- Silent start
- Even lower memory footprint - ~4K on standby (was 11K before)
sounds cool
gunna try now
you should make it so you tap the screen to show when u want it to vibrate instead of editing the .txt file
Edit: Great app but confusing to change the pattern
Edit2: lol doesnt seem to work on my vogue when i go to phone->options and press play its just a long vibrate
Ohh man i was about to post a thread on something like this. Thank you so much for making this!
Sounds nice. Will try it out. Thanks for sharing.

+ 100 i would guess
Downloading now,.
Thanks for sharing sir!
to save people the bother of working it out themselves, and to get everyone started...
here's my version of the Nokia classic message vibration
i can't hum it, so you'll need to try it, i guess!
Edit : Oh, by the way... is it possible to do something like this for recieving SMS / MMS / Email, or is that a different process altogether?

Yeah, that's what I wanted to ask too! Would be awesome, would be a very useful app, thanks. And yup, maybe an easier way to edit vibrates would be nice. However, it's cool now, for a version 1.
Future versions
Post your suggestions. I am making a list of changes for the next version.
Suggestions :
- a settings UI on the device (instead of having to pull the txt file off to PC and edit and then put back in on device)
- ability to change between multiple vibrate scripts (via drop-down menu or list?)
- if possible (?) ability to use vibrate scripts for SMS / MMS / Email / Other alerts
- vibe scripts that match pattern with the actual ring / message tone would be VERY cool
excellent little program, thanks a lot for the effort
if the other message alerts can be changed from within this (or even just another separate small app) it's just what i'm looking for!
and please can other people post their script efforts, it'd be good to have several pre-sets to start out with.
there might be a slight bug in this
a few calls have come through recently, the vibrate kicks in itself and the ringtone does not play for about 10 seconds or so.
also the programmed pattern seems distorted.
it might just be my device, as i'm noticing that S2U2's full screen call ID has been struggling to kick in when a call comes in these days since i started using Manilla2D as well.
it might be that the device is struggling to find the ID picture and the ringtone and the vibrate pattern at the same time, all the while trying to run M2D.
i'd check if it works correctly without all these extras running, but M2D and S2U2 are pretty much essentials for me these days.
anyone else care to help?

Do you have this problem with all calls or just some?
What do you mean by distorted pattern?
Does this problem happens when VAlert is disabled?
Thanks works great on my prophet with 6.1

That's not a delay. By default (there is a registry setting to change it) the ring is delayed by 2 seconds. VAlert does not have that delay, so it will always start vibrating 2 seconds before the ring.
Nice tool... works goodm i like it!!!
I have a stock Vibrant running 2.1. I like to have audible notifications for text messages, etc., but not for new emails. I get a lot of email at all hours and I prefer not to hear my notification tone multiple times a night in the wee hours whenever a new junk message comes in. So, is there a fix for this on a stock phone? I've looked through the Settings: if there's something there to manage the various types of notifications separately, I've missed it. Any suggestions other than turning notification sound off completely?
I thought this was a pretty basic question when I posted it. Out of all the smart folks who hang out here, nobody knows the answer?
go through the settings on your email app and turn off notifications or select your ringtone as "silent" for the app
or u can use "no led " app and use its features to silent wht u want..
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.led.notify&feature=search_result
brilliant app just for vibrant

Thanks a lot (and my light sleeper of a wife thanks you). The fix seems obvious when you mention it, but I'm not sure it would ever have dawned on me. That took care of my issue.
movieaddict-
Thanks to you, as well. NoLED looks like a clever app, and I'll give it a try for certain notifications.
I have been having trouble with my ringtone for a while now. It will only cycle once and that is it. So, if I don't hear it on the first ring I don't catch it. Does anyone know how that is adjusted with in the ROM? Right now I am using CM.10.1.2.FIREBALL.mdm05.zip. Perm ROOT, S-Off and all that.. Whichever ringtone I use will only sound once and that's it, HELP. Thanks... p.s. To clarify, this is not a voicemail issue. The phone will keep ringing only it will be silent after the ringtone cycles once.

this is because cm for some reason gave control of ringtones to phone.apk and not let the system handle it. if its a stock ringtone it will loop but custom ones wont.
to fix you will need to edit your build.prop and add 2 lines at the bottom, please make sure that the build.prop doesnt already have any of the following:
ro.telephony.call_ring.multiple
ro.telephony.call_ring.delay
if you do have then, please delete it and at the bottom add this:
ro.telephony.call_ring.multiple=false
ro.telephony.call_ring.delay=200
save changes and reboot. your custom ringtones will loop once again.
worked like a charm...
Your advice worked like a charm. I knew it had something to do with the build.prop functions but was not informed enough to mess around in there. I did what you recommended and it worked great. Thank You and Thanks for your help and advice... do you know how I can adjust the time in between rings. I messed with the delay amount (200 to 400) but that did not seem to do it. Thanks in advance...

200 is 2mil seconds. so if you want to mess with it more and notice a difference you will need to go higher i believe. like 1000 would be one second.
Ok my phone is pretty much always on vibrate.
but when my phone is just sitting on my desk or in my pocket, i git only a blip of vibrate to notify me, and thats it.
i miss a lot of messages due to the fact that this phones vibrate function is terrible, i need to know how to increase intensisity or increase the length of notification vibrate.
I tried a few Notifier apps but none have help.
let me know what you recommend in app or workaround
let me know please

Greetings, rinnycoop121.
Have you used BuzzKill before? It's the only app that can efficiently perform your job (It can assist with notification vibration duration, and in theory, that may help with the intensity of the notification vibration).
Here is a rundown of how it works:
You create a rule in the BuzzKill app, and it provides you with an outline in the form of "When I get a notification from any app that contains anything, then do nothing"
any app
You can select as many apps as you want impacted
anything
You can filter by words/phrases, images/phone numbers/languages, and you can create your own complex filters
nothing
There's a variety of actions (Cooldown, Mute, Remind me, Alarm, Speak, Unsilence, Snooze, Batch, Secret, Custom alert, Sticky, Keep if, Dismiss, Undo dismiss, Reply, Press button, Open notification, Copy verification code, Set ringer, Remove from history, Trigger Tasker), but the one I think best suited for you is "Custom alert"
"Custom alert" gives you an outline in the form of "When I get a notification from any app that contains anything, then custom alert with default vibration and default sound
any app
You can select as many apps as you want impacted
default vibration
You can build a vibration pattern (Add buzzes, gaps)
You can make your vibration pattern as long or as short as you want
default sound
You can select the sound that you want emitted from your device
I'm convinced that BuzzKill will assist you in circumventing the OnePlus Nord N200's notification/vibration limits (Or any other Android device for that matter). Regardless, let me know what you think rinnycoop121.
Hi,
I like this phone a lot but it has some annoying features or lack of them and because I don't want to go through the potentially tedious process of selling and looking for a different one I'd rather request some help in finding a good room and root the damn thing instead.
My issues:
- Inability to disable noise canceling when recording voice memos with a built in voice recorded app (I also tested some other ones and it seems to be present with all of them. IM apps seem to be the only things where this isn't present).
- If I want to set a custom ringtone or notification sound there's no slider on the side that allows for quickly scrolling though many files or a search bar which is insane and requires endless scrolling. The only workaround is to rename the file into Aaaaaa or something so it's placed on top alphabetically.
Nothing else really bothers me besides this but the mic thing is really annoying.
