Can't use headphone jack while in car dock. - Sprint HTC EVO 4G LTE

So the Bluetooth is setup but my car doesn't support audio over Bluetooth. Normally I just use my aux jack connection. I tried to go in settings and i see an option for voice audio out and then audio out. The voice has an option of StereoClip and the car. The audio only has the StereoClip as the only option. Why is this? Can I not have call on the Bluetooth only and then a headphone jack for music?

Not sure if it will work, and but in bluetooth settings tap on the headset after its paired. Them you can uncheck the music option? Just leave the call audio checked?

I will try that. Thanks. I hope the call function still works.

No removing audio from the setting in bluetooth removes the profile and doesn't use the Bluetooth for calls.

Bluetooth stereo headphones

Anyone know how to enable notification sound through bluetooth stereo headphones. Notification sound only comes out through phone speaker when a bluetooth stereo headphone is connected!

I totally misread your post. Disregard =)

Playing music through bluetooth?

I've read a few threads where People are playing their music and sounds thru Bluetooth. I've tired changing the output in the stock music app, but it doesn't stick, the sound still comes out of the phone speakers. I don't see anything Under settings. Am i missing something?

Are you already paired with the BT device?
What ROM are you running, there is a known bug in the currant ICS releases.
Matt
I'm paired, calls work fine. I'm running GB, clean rom 1.6.5 sp1. I haven't tried an ICS ROM yet.

I remember having selected output at some point when I was getting it going. Now it selects it on its own. So when I connect in the car and it's paired it automatically plays the music through the car stereo, when it's not paire it plays through the phone speakers. Of course, I do have to select BT for my music input in the car. Could it be as simple as having overlooked that option on the paired device?
Pairing for phone and pairing for audio are two separate things. Make sure you are paired for audio.

Yeah... that's it. I had to also connect the phone as a portable music player for the car in addition to pairing it.
I'm using btmono by bedoig from the marketplace. I use the free version and it works great on infellibis 1.1.

What are you trying to push music too? Whatever it is, it must support A2DP.
I have a Sony BT head in my truck and stream Pandora from my phone to it. I also have a set of BT stereo over the ear headphones. Both devices boost the Rez's music stream...fantastic audio quality.
Check out "btmono" on the market....it might work for you.

[Q] Random Audio Stopping

Trying to figure out why my audio is randomly stopping. I think it has something to do with a conflict with the bluetooth connection in my car. I can't figure out how to tell it not to "autoswitch" the media stream to the bluetooth and leave on aux. I end up having to unplug the aux cable, replug in the aux cable and then hit play again for it to work.
Any ideas?

Is your car and phone paired? Try deleting the pairing?

Auxiliary audio and Bluetooth

I noticed when I'm playing music through the audio jack to my car's auxiliary, bluetooth headset is disabled for calls. I have to pull the audio jack, then the button for bluetooth is enabled again.
My G2 would allow calls to go through the bluetooth headset and then once the call was done, music would continue on auxiliary.
Is there any way to get this back? Anyone else think this is an issue?
Yep have the same problem, thanks for asking the question hope we get an answer.

Glad I'm not the only one who misses this... Seems pretty basic.

I thought this was a bug as well. However when using the aux, I am having an issue with the audio being muted when I disconnect the headphones and no way to bring the audio back up unless I restart the device.

Bluetooth audio settings

Currently using rooted s3 with aokp jb with siyah 1.8.with stweaks, and playing with the audio settings whilst playing music streaming over Bluetooth to my Bose soundlink, I cannot notice any difference?
I've since found out Bluetooth bypasses the dac, so doesn't effect it, how do I manage them to have an effect over Bluetooth?
Cheers in advance.

Are you streaming bluetooth audio through a headset or to a pc ? If there is a option .. does changes you apply from the recipent bluetooth device affect the audio ? O:
It's streaming to a Bose Soundlink speaker. It's got no options to set sound on it.
It needs to be done on device streaming the music... bah.

Did you try connecting directly through a cable or something ?
Maybe the application only applies effect on the device and it doesn't change the orginal defaults of the music .
Yeah, it's because Bluetooth streamed music bypasses any dac within the kernel unlike headphones or speaker on phone.
I was hoping there may be an app which can intercept the Bluetooth transmission and amend with audio presets.
