-Has someone successfully updated to official ICS coming from 4.0.2.A.0.58? It's necsessary to be on .62 in order to update?

-I've changed the number i had in build.prop and cust.prop; i've used CUSTOMIZED US WORLD A 1254-1956 from here, but PCC and SUS didn't gave me the update.
WHAT I'VE DONE WRONG?
Why don't you flash it with flashtool? Much easier

well to me it worked first i repair with the PCC and made a tft of the Telcel firmware(and gess what it was a generic 4.0.2.A.0.62 version)
after trying to change the CDA number and nothing hapenned i flashed a wt19i .58 version then in the PCC each time i repair the phone shut down and F**k
then i flashed with the "telcel" version and ta-daa a generic 4.0.2.A.0.62 version 1254-1956
then this morning i put the cel in PCC and it said "you have an update" so i update to ics that's all, just let me search a server to upload the 2 tft(.62 version an ICS for WT19a US, well i'am in mexico)
I've used flashtool and installed WT19i firmware. All is good by now except Play Store is giving me connection errors.

I Just want to inform you that yesterday I updated my Xperia neo and got 2.3.4 build 4.0.2.A.0.62.
Does anybody know what are changes since previous build?
Using 4.0.2.A.0.62 I can not root using DooMLoRD_v3_ROOT-zergRush-busybox-su,
So becareful, you may need to wait until some solution for rooting is found.

I have rooted 4.0.2.A.0.62.
First I flashed InteksV15 kernel. After I used DooMLoRD_v3_ROOT-zergRush-busybox-su.
it's working
But after it will be running on Inteks kernel. You may need to extract original one from 4.0.2.A.0.62
and reflash it.

I am from middle east too. Nothing so special in this update. I hope some official change log to be released
I reverted back my phone to .42, because there is not any straight and easy way to root this firmware yet.
i still have Build 4.0.2.A.0.42 on my Neo V
is that right, im from the netherlands
and my neo is rooted, is that not dangerous
and wil the neo v get Build 4.0.2.A.0.62 if it is rooted?

I have my neo rooted with locked bootloader and 0.42 firmware.
If I upgrade to 0.62 ,I supposed it won't be rooted any more.
Right?
Any way to root it again with locked bootloader?

I can get the update, but I have an unlocked bootloader so I used flashtool. But I had a conversation with @SonyEricssonNL, and it turned out I have a scandinavian SI number.
I think you can just use flashtool to flash the ftf, also non-rooted.
Well I didnt want to Create another Thread.. so let it be for those who want Pure Stock Official ROM .

then I guess we have to wait... maybe Sirkay will check if the Kernel is different or same one...
i checked th list and in list is my SI number as yesterday released but in PC companion i get message "you have last software"
we still have no update ! but NEO V has 4.0.4 update so on this week we should give a new update .
My Xperia Ray SI number listed on that table, but when I try to update using PC Companion, it tell me that my ray updated with the latest software.

are you using a custom rom? If yes then you need to downgrade to your original fw with the correct SI code

Hey, jj my SI nuber is not yet supported(or whatever it is called). Can I still use seus. An if i can how do i convert to an img or flf file. Btw can we get it if someone has updated . and then make a backup with cwm. Can we make a flf file from a cwm backup?
Maybe someone who is on GB can update to 4.0.4, seems like its not working when you´re on 4.0.3. My SI is also listed but I have custom ROM(also recognizes it as Arc S ) so it might block this updating.

use flashtool create ftf file, locate blob_fs folder in pcc directory (not very sure). and generate. put branding etc and firmware number.
extract kernel.sin from .ftf using 7zip. pass it to me.. want to check if its .562 sw or new one.

since update is given by batch. your si number determines whether the new update is being rolled out in your region, in your case you have to wait unless someone will post their ftf files.

Tried, doesn't work, PC Companion only offers update to 4.1.A.0.562. According to the site JJ posted the update for my SI number was released yesterday.
Neo V has the .ftf of 4.0.4 and has new baseband .72

Why are you installing a st18i xperia ray firmware on a wt19i ?
If you wait i upload ics for wt19i live with walkman when its out
when i tested it on mine somewhere in the draw
the firmware is up till the 1/9.2012
so grab it while you can

change your lang at startup and in the time setting the region
then repair using suse that should get your number

I was trying to do it on my UK soft, but without any effects.
And how about changing the cda to CE1 and update to the ICS when Sony will release it? Is it gonna work?

the way i got ics was flash ce3 on my ray change the lang and region and use suse to update to ics after repair it
the best way is to pay e1.99 to wontan can get the cda you really need
or try the ce3 1889 and repair after you flashed and setup works for me

I think maybe you can flash gb firmware,and change the cda strings into Indonesia,and upgrade to ICS and you eventually get ICS firmware of Indonesia
I bought my phone in Malaysia,but the phone is made in Indonesia with 1249-0744 SI number...but the update is released for my phone and it's too late because I changed my phone cda strings to get update earlier

i tried changing CDA no but i couldn't success in it only thing is i needed RxD no so that i can try again...
I flashed MT11i_4.1.B.0.431_Customized Central Europe 3.ftf to my Neo V.
Now i want to ask if i update my phone using PCC or SEUS then which one i ll get, Indian Or the same europian (I am in India).
and if i get europian update (in case), what should i do to get Indian Official Update from sony.
Sorry If I asked the same question but i didnt find satisfying answers?

there's an easy way too, just change the CDF Number to "1254-8478" from your europian CDF number in your build.prop

But i can reinstall the software through SEUS as repair option, then i ll get the indian software through it or it will re install the europian?
if you use indian FTF and repair then you will get Indian rom,
but if you choose to change the numbers from build.prop and repair, then i am not sure but I believe you will get the indian rom.
