Hi guys. I think my phone is on a leak from the end of march. There have been several since then. Would I see any benefits upgrading to those? Thanks!

Definitely update to the newest (5/7/2012) one.
This is the one you want: Click Me!
You should Take this to the question and answers subsection. But all I know about is radios and stability being updated.

Definitive update. There is alot of issues that were fixed.
Thanks guys. How do I updates before flashing a new rom? I read somewhere we need to do it twice?

I just got a rezound and I wonder how is the cleanrom ics? Any major problems?

There is a whole thread with user using, installing, commenting etc...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1453324
Info on preparing to use it:

No problems for me at all. Scott's roms are awesome! Be sure to read the info on his site on preparing to update the firmware. It will get you through the transition with no problem. That is if you haven't done it already.

+1 for CleanROM. I've been using his ROM w/o any problems.

Totally awesome.
Best roms on the Rezound in my opinion!

There's already two other threads open based on this same leaked pic, please use those.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1621292

It's not enough the fact that when you post something it gives you a list of threads that are similar that you still have to.post it again?

Hopefully its real and verizon/HTC surprises us with sense 4.0 instead of 3.6
I am sure 3.6, but not holding my breath for 4.0. Would be nice though

Check the other two threads I linked, it may have been discussed in them already, both have been open over a week.
Has anyone made the new ICS Sprint leak stock rooted version CWM flashable?
Sent from my PG86100 using xda premium
You know.... People that don't know how to title their topics are getting really annoying here at XDA. NO! THERE WAS NO LEAK! STOP ASKING! When we come out with one, you'll know it.
It's almost like I see a thread like this every other day. lol. But oh well. However, I so can't wait for it to come out cause I need to re-do my phone soon.
Yeah just wanted the stock ICS one. I thought I had read about a leak guess not. :'(

To answer the original question, while it is not exactly stock, Mean Rom Ics has incorporated the latest leak files into his Rom (and improved on them). It is mainly stock with improvements.
Sent from my PG86100
Give Booster Shot, the Kingdom port, a chance. It's fully functional, including 3D. It's my daily driver. It is not based on the VM leak! It's been wonderful for me as the other ICS ROM's based on the leaks have something about them that is quirky on my phone. The port has no quirks for me.
Just wondering if the Thunderbolt had to be activated before rooting or not.
Anyone know?
I plan on rooting one for my mother in law but she hasn't activated it yet for service.
Sent from my ADR6400L using xda premium
Mine was rooted when I activated it. I ended up unrooting because there were problems with my activation unrelated to being rooted. Just makes sure you're on the latest firmware first.

No problem. The reason you should stick with the stock ruu is because if they need software info it will match. I doubt they will hut you never know.

I probably will just root it anyways. If something weird happens, I'll just unroot it and start over.

So it IS safe to root before activating?
Just double checking.

Yeah, just until it gets activated, then I can change over to a different ROM.
Thanks again man.

Yea. I remember on the Eris it wasn't possible to activate on anything but a stock rom. On this I'm not to sure so I would go with a sense 2.1 for sure.

I can say if you have verizon you might wanna wait on rooting even if you root but have a stock rom because i sat in their store over an hour and a half one day setting up a new sim card with a samsung stratosphere i rooted and it had the tweaked rom and stock rom and had to unroot cuz their computer couldnt connect to device right and finally after 8 new simcards i just unrooted used my backup of original factory firmware i took before flashing customized stock rom.... I know im a lil late on this but my advice is root it after its been activated...save yourself hassle and embarrassment knowing they are not supposed to help you when your device is rooted...

This is the reason I never go in the store. I've never had a problem activating a rooted phone. That is why I always suggest going back to a stock firmware though because cm roms and other aosp roms have trouble activating most of the time.

Just wanted to start this thread even though my Rom was pulled and I don't want any flaming .... Because I don't wanna deal with it ...
But just so you know there has been numerous updates and fixes to the Rom overall ....
And if anyone wants it you know where to find me if you follow my development
Thanks to everyone that has supported my development its been a challenge but fun

this rom is legit... downloading the newest one now
Yeah, this rom is where it's at... I never use custom roms. This is the first completely usable AND impressive Rom I've seen since getting a rezound in '11.
A nice refresh to get me through another half a year or so until upgrade time hits! I'll be donating... Where's that link...
