Hi all,
I have fpse for my galaxy note, with standard settings ff7 looks pretty dismall.
I downloaded opengl and it caused nothing but problems, crashes, bad frame rates etc.
I purchased chainfire 3d and downloaded the plugins (my phone is rooted) no matter what settings I apply in chainfire it makes no difference to any game in fpse whatsoever. I tried nvidia, powervr and qualcomm with no joy at all.
Night mode is not even working.
I am using a galaxy note gt-7000.
Any help would really be appreciated, been at this for days
Anyone?

cricket fever 3D is not working in galaxy s 2. Guys i know this must be because of the Mali GPU as opposed to nvidia's. I heard there certain people who have problems with some of the games. I can launch the game but screen turns blank when i get to the play screen. I can hear the sound though. I am sure it must be some graphics issue. Is there any work around for this.???
Also do we have any fix for the sound ??? I mean something like Voodoo sound control app.
Use chainfire 3d
You can install chainfire 3d from the market. For that you have to be rooted first. After that install the default plugins and choose nvidia from the options. This way you can always play nvida, qualcom or power vx specific games.
Hey
I tried everything.. including tegra driver using chainfire3d.
The best case was playing for 2 sec and then stuck.
thnks.
Anyone?
Anyone? pls...
Same for me. I installed chainfire and the nvidia plugin, but the game crashes after the menue.
Dont need a new thread for this...

Which Games Work and Don't Work. On samsung GS2
And as far as I know no one has gotten this game to work yet, you better wait for a fix from the developers or an update to chainfire3d.
But please take the discussion on one of those threads.
Hi.
In several (paid) Gamloft HD games I see all or most white textures instead of buildings and characters.
I am with SG SII with Cognition ROM 1.08 and tried installing Chainfire 3D drivers but no luck.
Can anyone know how to solve this issue ? thanks...
Anyone ? any ideas ?
Happening to me too. Even with backbreaker games. If anyone can shed some light..?

Exynos has only very basic/standard texture compression , tegra games most of them just use better texture compression and there is no other special proprietary features , few games do but that is besides the point, some none tegra games can also utilize it.
Just load the plugin, also some games work better under different plugin like powervr ect. Trying only takes 10 seconds tops. OP should have mention what games he is having problems , i tried few GT racing works with tegra plugin for example, without plugin i get white textures.
I have a Galaxy S II as well and I'm on the stock rom and facing the same issue. Also tried installing Chainfire 3D from the market but it did not make a difference. phone issue?
Experts... please help!
I came across http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1087427
This genius Chainfire explains everything and also has a part solution.
I'm trying to find the right cf3d settings to make this game run the best way. Right now the gameplay is acceptable but it lags/stutters at times and some textures are messed. Do you have this game on your phone? Out of curiosity, what settings are you using? Many thanks
Hi,
I have N.O.V.A 2 working perfectly using the libGLEMU_NIVIDIA.zip plugin.
Hmm weird, i tried the same setup and i still got some weird lag spikes, i'll try to redownload the game data then..
I'm using NOVA 2 on my S2 without Chainfire3d. It runs super smooth and there are no texture problems. Version 1.02 was released specifically for the S2.
mobilephonetalk.com had it.
Wondering if anyone knows how to get Settlers HD running on CM9. Tried digging around here and some other forums but haven't come up with much

Have you tried changing the build.prop to another device?
Which device would you go with? I was thinking Samsung galaxy tab but idk.

a gameloft game? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1318239 might help. i installed some gameloft games recently on my touchpad recently and got messages about how the device is not supported and i need to ask for a refund. i havent tried the chainfire 3d method yet. its a shame they dont just let the games play and if they dont work, they dont work.
Working for me with a couple of quick fixes
Managed to get this game going on the touchpad However i should point out despite its name it isn't genuine HD or fully tablet optimised yet. Of course that's the case for this game on all tablets and it runs fine regardless but I just thought I'd let you know.
Anyway to get it to work an Android touchpad first set the device make and model in your build.prop to a gameloft supported device (I used the Samsung SGH-T989 because it has the same CPU and GPU as the TP) and then install the game but do not open it yet. Before running the game install chainfire3d and set it to the POWERVR plugin. Now when you run the game it should download the sd data and once completed it should work properly.
Chainfire fixes the graphics (without they are all white) and the build.prop mod fakes your device model so you can download the sd data for gameloft games (otherwise you get an unsupported device error).
From what I've seen on the net you can also install the webos version of Settler's HD on the touchpad which also runs fine (although again Scaled graphics rather than actual HD textures).
