I wouldn't trust it if it doesn't have a brand name. There are plenty of external batteries perform poorly.

No sh*t. They should have made the speaker area bigger also. That may have helped with the low speaker volume.

you know one thing that could be done is to buy those backings and redesign them. make them a little more streamlined. all u need is some super glue a little bit of putty and some plastic (oh and a little bit of sandpaper to smooth out the edges )
Heres the one i have.. it doesnt look bad at all.. its a lil more pricier..
but u will be amazed with how long the battery last's.
before just 5mins of use would drop the battery 5% kinda week.

I ordered the extended battery kit along with the car mount and charger on Saturday the 19th and even paid for 2-3 day Priority shipping. Well it's Friday the 25th and I have not received my shipment yet. I called the 800 number and received a fax machine. Don't know how good of a deal this is, and I'll surely never order from them again.

I tried sending a fax as soon as it answered it hang-up. the email address [email protected] was returned with no such user on the system. Live and learn, my next step is to turn it over to legal.
I won an auction on Friday and got (2) HTC EVO 3D Docks, (2) iGrip Car Mounts, an Otterbox Commuter case, and a pink silicone case.

I'll keep that in mind. I have 2 cars, so I might keep both the mounts, but I may let go of one of the docks. Depends on if I want one on my night stand and on my desk at the office, or one or the other.

I can definitely say it's a nice thing to have, but maybe not for what it's been retailed for. I mainly use it on my desk at work, and I have one on my nightstand for my overnight charging and alarm clock. If you find a good deal on one around the $20 range, I would definitely recommend getting one.
As for the car dock, that's been a great addition. It charges, and make it easy to use for navigation. I haven't taken it on a trip, but when I do, I trust it'll do wonders for me.

Quick question for those of you using the cradle. With I Grip, I know that once docked, it launches the Car Panel automatically. Does using the cradle launch anything in particular?
Also, since I am on the topic, do you any of you guys know if there is a way to turn off the auto launch

When you put it into the cradle, it launches the "Dock Mode" application automatically.
And yes, there is a way to turn off the Auto-Launch feature for the Dock Mode application. Open the application and go to Menu > Settings, then uncheck "Auto-Launch."
You can even set it to automatically turn on your HotSpot when connected. Just saw that, pretty cool.
Where's the batteries for this phone???
I got the onite batteries on amazon nut they're the only ones who have anything.... and heads up, the charger they sell it worthless. Its a universal charger that's way too small for the battery.... Why the hell doesn't samsung make a battery charger combo for this phone??? It's like even they didnt have faith in it when they made it.

I got extra batteries from eBay which are 3500mah and they work fine. I just charge my phone via PC's USB and it takes less than 2 hours. You may need a 2A charger if you want fast charging. It's a new territory for Samsung so they must be cautious not putting everything in it.

At the bottom of that page, the two accessories (flip cover and battery set) are shown again but no further detail, no product codes. Looks like the accessories are only available as sets with the Mega only at the moment. The device is still new on the market, the accessories might be available later elsewhere, too.

They delayed their release until late August. That I know of, they haven't confirmed what size battery(s) they are releasing.

Received this today, good quality LG pieces, works great. Plug it in at my work computer and swap the fresh battery in on my way out of the office, rinse and repeat the next day, never need to plug in the phone.

Since the case has the points for NFC and wireless charging, I'm assuming batteries don't use NFC built in for the G3 as they did with the S3. That's great news.

I bought the black OEM LG battery charger and dock off of eBay.co.uk for $27 shipped to US today. Probably can find the listing, they have white as well.
Cheapest OEM battery I found was $35. Though I did see two cheap ones for sale made to look like stock for $16 shipped from China on eBay.
