So after my Google Wallet went to non-stop initializing, it seems my internet browser doesn't work, as well as Gmail and maybe a couple other things...
I can run twitter and it works fine, I can run tumblr and it works just fine. I can run speedtest and it works just fine.
I can be on the WiFi in my house and it works, or 3G... but the gmail and default internet app doesn't work?
Any thoughts? I have only rooted the phone and nothing else.
I have restarted a couple times and it makes no difference...
No idea what to try next?

So I tried clearing the "Clear Storage" from the fastboot menu I think, no luck. I guess next is to do a factory reset?

Ok figured this out, I got things working again. What happens is if I would try to run the wallert and get the spinning authorization issue, my gmail app and internet app wouldn't work. Also Google Play would hang at different intervals. I think after some TIME (hours) it would 'fix' itself and things would start to work again. Or if you reboot and DON'T run wallet it would work fine...
I just did this 3-4 times and it's something with the wallet authorization that causes those programs to not work, maybe a couple others too..
Just thought I would update in case anyone else has or has had this issue...

I forgot to do it for a few days after nand restoring and thought it wasn't working. I just needed to connect to my gmail acct again.

i'm on a rooted droid eris running tazz 6.0 froyo
lately chrome to phone stopped working for me too. I am logged in on my computer and the c to p app on my phone. it just does not work at all.
has worked flawlessly before. but for some reason now, my phone never receives the link.
I have a rooted Aria running CM6 chrome to phone has stopped working, I have linked and relinked the app to no avail, also I'm unable to uninstall the app from my phone.
**Just got a new update for the application, working fine again.
C2P is not working anymore. It used to work fine, but with wiping and flashing, something has gone wrong. I have two Gmail accounts. It works well with one of them, but my main Gmail account is not working. I use my main account to synch contacts etc.
I have tried everything from wiping phone, deleting history data, reinstalling both chrome and chrome to phone, changing my password, but no avail. So it's probably not the app itself, but something went wrong with the connection of a certain account, or smt.. anyone?

not working for me either. used to work, but stopped for some reason. Tried clearing c2p data, reinstalling, rolled back to version 2.0, nothing has worked so far...

I don't use Chrome To Phone, I use LinkPush which does exactly the same thing.
Simply type "LinkPush" on the market and install the plugin for chrome and it's done ^^
Running into this issue as well. I fixed it once before after doing a full wipe, but this time it still didn't work after a full wipe.

same issue. I have two google accounts on my phone. When I sign into chrome to phone using my secondary gmail acct, it works. If I delete the secondary and leave only one gmail acct, it does not work. If I use my secondary as my only gmail acct, it works.
Very annoying as I want to keep my primary gmail signed in on my browser;;

not working here either. i only enabled 1 account on both laptop and phone. laptop extension says that the link was sent to phone, but nothing happens on the phone.

I completely unistalled c2p, removed the apk I had in the system folder and then cleard my dalik cache. then i reinstalled it from the market and it seems to work now. it took a few minutes to actually show the link on my phone, but my phone got it
just installed for the 1st time and it's working as it should. links show up on phone instantly

How do you cleared the dalvik cache??
I tried the whole cache clear thing and it did not work. Google really needs to have a place in Gmail to remove the phone association.
Market web installs from "market android com" never start. ('m not allowed to post links)
Under "My Devices" in the settings page it shows my Atrix, It has a "Registered on" date (today) but it doesn't have a "Last Used" date (it shows a dash).
I have followed all the suggestions on the help page. (log in, log out)
My Market App version is 2.3.2.
Google Talk works. The Market App works. Clearing Data and Cache for the Market doesn't help any.
I'm signed in with a regular Google account. (not an apps account)
Any suggestions?
This might sound obvious, but have you tried restarting it or resetting it?

Does the market work on anyone else's Atrix or is it just me?
I read somewhere that if you open Google Talk and sign out then sign back in, it should get the market web installs working because of a communication problem.

Yeah, that's on the help page. Didn't work.
Empty market cache, and uninstall market upgrades (if any). Had the same problem before with other phones, I do not think this is atrix specific.
Getting the market to upgrade afterwards required some manual steps as well. Too lazy to look that up now though, just google it.

I emptied the cache and uninstalled updates. On the first launch I got the old market, on the second launch it had upgraded back to the new one. I also tried a reboot. Still doesn't work. Good idea though, thanks.
Bump! Any fixes for this? I'm having the same issues. The Market web store even lists my phone being last used on Feb 25 (the last day it was pushing app downloads from my computer). However, when I download apps from my phone, it shows up on my account online.

I thought I was having this same problem, but I was in battery saver mode and had auto-sync disabled. After re-enabling it, the downloads just began automatically.
I had the same issues at first and tried all th above fixes and the ones on the google help page. nothing worked at first. i waited a few hours and tried downloading again and everything worked fine. i can't really explain how but it just started working.
I have had this problem for 5 days =/ Now I just chrome to phone the link and open it with market =/ I have done all the above, contacted Google and posted at Motorola Site. Nothing works.
Darn I am having the same issue. Just got my Atrix an hour or two ago...so we will see what happens. I'll try and keep you updated.
Edit: Mine just started working, so I don't know what the problem with yours is. Hope you get it worked out.

Do you have apps/the market to update only on wifi? And you haven't opened the apps to have them generate an, "I'm here", marker for the market to send you stuff, when you were hooked up to wifi?

Good news guys Google talk was not working for me so I re flashed my phone and reconfigure it now Google talk work and market too I don't know if it will works for you but for me it working great now hope it help a bit

This may not help everyone, but I ran into this same problem.
Each day, my downloads weren't sent to my phone and my gmail wasn't pushing consistently, but by the time I got home, everything seemed to be working again. I noticed that I was also unable to log into google talk on my office's wifi (which seems to be the key to getting everything else to work). A coworker with a samsung android phone was having the same problem.
We worked with our network administrator to unblock certain ports on the wifi firewall. We finally resolved this issue by opening port 5228. Now everything is pushing correctly. See if this port is blocked on your wifi.
The weird thing that kept throwing me off is that even if I switched off wifi and used ATT, it was still having problems for a period of time.
Ive tried searching around but my Google-Fu is lacking at the moment is seems. Im running the CM9alpha and everything is working fine, other then the list of bugs that are with the rom. One day my phone got disconnected from the Sprint network and so I had to flash back to stock. I reactivate with the network so I flash back to CM9. Everything is working fine, but I notice now when i go to the Play web site and try and install an app it doesn't install on my phone. I go and look at My Android Apps and it shows the app that are installed on my stock Sprint rom. Ive tried clearing the cache on my phone, rebooting my phone, and even uninstalling the Play Store updates. Nothing seems to work. Didnt know if anyone has had any similar issues and luck solving them.
EDIT: Just to clarify I have multiple accounts on my phone and chrome, but my main account is logged in on both Chrome and my phone. I recently bought Osmos HD on the web store and it doesnt show up that its even been bough on my phone.
I don't know what to do. At first my play store said no connection, so I signed out of my google account. After that, when I press the play store button it asks me to sign in, but when I do, it says "can't establish a reliable connection to the server."
My internet is fine, how do I fix this? I am lost.
Rooted? If so, have you tried to clean cache and reboot? That helped me once. If your not rooted try clearing app data thru settings. Then reboot.

Have you tried to change your network mode, then change it back. Also, turning airplane mode off/on?
I just tried turning airplane mode on them off again. And I tried connecting on both my home wifi and on 4g. No luck though.
I was looking around online and one site said that it could have to do with the time on my phone. When I look though the time is correct

I downloaded the Google play app again last night, but that didn't work. Should I do the same with all the Google apps, but un install them before downloading them again?
And I think Google play music still works for some reason. YouTube, Gmail and Google play are the ones that I'm having an issue with.

You might try removing your google account and re-adding it.
I am signed out of my account. When I go into settings and look at accounts, I am not signed into a Google account, and if I try to sign in I get the same screen I posted on the last page. I don't get how my play music is still signed in
Don't sign out, remove the account totally from settings.
I think it is completely removed. It prompts me to either add an existing account or a new one.
I made a video to show my problem. In the first part, I show clearing app data in the settings. Then I show what happens when I try to sign into google play or gmail. After that shows that youtube and chrome are signed in, and the same goes for google play music.
Afterwards I show how there is no google account signed in in the settings.

I don't think you will loose root just by doing a factory reset. But, to make sure you can install a root keeper app like https://play.google.com/store/apps/...m9yZy5wcm9qZWN0dm9vZG9vLm90YXJvb3RrZWVwZXIiXQ.. to make sure.
Hey guys ... Im running Eclipse's GE Rom and things have been working great until today. I use the Verizon Range extender at my house so at home on wifi, but when I left my house today I tried to do some online banking on my phone and the app kept saying no data. I looked at the phone and it was showing full bars with 4G. I then tried Facebook and everything loaded fine, then tried a Google search in Chrome and it pulled up results fine, so I went back to the app and tried again with no luck. I thought maybe it was a bug with the app so I deinstalled and opened up the Play store to reinstall and thats when the Play store said no data as well. I think check Gmail, and again no data, tried another google search and it worked fine, check facebook again and it was working fine. So I figured I would just login to my banking via their website, searched for the bank site on google which the search pulled up fine tapped the link/url and the web page wouldnt load.
So long story short data works on some stuff but not all:
Worked on Facebook
Worked on Chrome For Searches but will not load web pages
Will Not Work On Play Store
Will Not Work On Gmail
I tried turning data on and off and had no luck
I tried rebooting 2x and no luck
Any thoughts???
Update:
now it seems to be working fine again .... maybe its an area issue as I drove to work and now it works fine.
