White line on top of screen - Atrix 4G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

After reading all the good reviews on noattachtrix I decided to give it a try. I flashed the rom and a horizontal white line on the top left corner appeared. Is this a normal bug on this rom or did something go wrong? Anyways, i am back to my beloved CM7 which has no obvious bugs like these.

It is a "battery bar" you should see 'TEAM battery bar' in your apps if you want to disable the service...

3g icon to 4g tbolt icon

I searched but couldnt come up with anything. I saw someone who did this in the post your homescreen thread, and it was kind of cool. Has anyone tried this? If so is it possible to make a flashable zip of it? I tried to find the post i saw but i cant seem to. Thanks in advance.
why would someone change it since all fascinates are on 3g and will remain on 3g since we don't have the hardware for 4g

i know it wouldnt change us to 4g but i feel its just another customization. I know if would have to represent our 3g coverage, i just thought it would be neat to change the icon.

ive considered it but between the wife and kids and 60 hours a week at work, time is tight. I guess its part lazy too, but if no one is interested its all good. Knowing the two of you guys who are big on here have no interest that convinces me to drop it.
heres a link if anyone would like to change theirs, i know its dumb but i like the look. obviously credit goes to OP.

don't think the link posted works for us
I did it exactly as posted with those 2 colors and it worked fine...im on sc 2.9.2 if it makes a difference...doubt it does though. remember to hit end project and dont zipalign, you can hit yes or no on the next pop up i hit no though. then reboot.
i don't get a pop up after if i want to zipalign like it says and i am on sc 2.9.2 also which is weird and i can not figure out y it just keeps looping

maybe try to reboot and try to start a new project again. I did give it time to finish, maybe 2 mins max. then rebooted right away, it didnt reboot on its own.

Frozen Clock Anyone?

Does the clock at the top of your phone ever freeze? If so... frequently? Any fix other than a reboot?

Unfortunately, I am experiencing the same problems with the Skinny ROM so I know it must be a hardware issue. I guess I'll be heading into Sprint for my 3rd replacement Photon.
I actually live in the tropics of Florida!
thats not fun. well good luck and i hope your next phone is the winner. 3rd time is the charm right?
I actually am on my 3rd one also. took first one back bc it had some mms issue. second one I was right there in the store and noticed that they were trying to give me a new that already had a scratch. good thing i noticed it right there at the desk. so she pulled out a third one and that is the one i use today.
wear your lucky socks when you go to the sprint store! ha ha
If your using the Motorola clock widget then yea it froze on me. Time would be off had to remove widget and put it back on to get it to show right.....only started happening on new sbf.
Sent from my MB855 using xda premium
My phone has been showing 1:54 pm for the last 20 minutes and I'm not using any Widgets. Time to reboot again!
Btw, when my clock is frozen, I can't type anything nor make any phone calls. I can't get a replacement fast enough!!!
That does sound like a defect
Sent from my MB855 using xda premium
I'm traveling this week, so maybe I can get a replacement from a different part of the country. Maybe that will make the difference. My deepest desire is to join the "My Photon is PERFECT" club!
my photon has never done this, but my admiral has had the clock frozen before
I wonder what is causing this strange behavior, regardless if it is due to a hardware or software problem.

Quick Question about Miui

I have been using the MIUI Rom for over 3 weeks now, and i absolutely love it. But something i notice today was three wavy lines on the status bar next to the Wifi/3G icon.
Does anyone know what this icon is? Probably something that is turned on but i just need to know
Thanks, EHB

Re: [ROM] 07-22-2012 JELLYBLUR V1.2 CM7.2 - SPJESTER Production
Media volume appears to be jacked up on this ROM. When turning my volume down 3 notches, it almost goes silent. Did I miss a fix in the settings? Sorry to post this under the "Random Q&A" section but it appears that XDA micromanages harder than my boss. Thus, I can't communicate with the actual dev. Yes, I've searched this site as well as Rootzwiki, but have not found an answer. Thanks for your time!

I am going to try tirmat 1.4 kernal instead 1.5 tomorrow. I heard its better.. (xda 10 post sucks ..before you can post in dev section) so far this rom has little hick-ups but good.. try next time to add gapps in the d/l (like liquid ics) might be easier..

I do like how it gets quiet quickly, however it kind of defeats the purpose if it goes silent before you get to the bottom of your media volume. I think whatever it is it's also influencing the peak volume. Don't get me wrong, I've said it before and I'll say it again: by far the most reliable ROM I've run to date on my Bolt. Thanks for all the time you're investing!

This is the only place I can replay but great build dev. I can't post the picture but I got 1day and 8min off this rom. I just put it back on charger for 30 min total maybe.. I drop it to 3g at work and bump it back to 4g at lunch and I break.. can't wait till the new build ..

I hope this isn't too late to be noticed/I certainly don't want to add to the trouble you've gone to Jester, but I noticed a force close under menu/settings/sound/volume. Not a big deal, just wanted to bring it to your attention since I didn't see it mentioned on the main thread. Thanks for everything you're doing for the community!
Since I can't post in the dev section, just wanted to say thanks again Jester! 1.3 is fantastic so far! One of the most responsive roms I've ran yet. Only one question / issue so far - I ran the PDroid patch this morning, but when I flash it my bolt freezes on the boot animation. Anyone have any suggestions?
EDIT: Changed "period" to "PDroid"

Yea, I cleared the Dalvik and Cache - just tried it again and I got the same freezing. Also, unrelated, on this rom mlb at bat won't let me watch games. It works on any sense roms, but it can't find my location. Did the gps fix and I get a lock within 2 seconds. Otherwise no issues since flashing!

No problem. I wasn't trying to call you out, just confused. To answer your question, it looks like you may have to patch the ROM yourself to make it compatible. This recent version had fixed compatibility issues with a few ROMs, but since Jester's is new I doubt it includes his ROM (even though it's CM based, there are going to be differences). See the screenshot below or visit: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1357056

Where would I clear battery stats. I tried to do a battery calibration but wont even let me charge to 100%
The baked in Battery Calibration app will do it for you, but it's recommended to barge to 100% before callibrating. You can also clear battery stats through recovery where you would clear your dalvik. There should be an option to clear battery stats.

The only thing in your screen shots that kind of jumps out at me is your wlan_rx wakelock at like 27m..though I don't think that's totally unreasonable given the 12h of standby time you have there... As others have said, you're gonna need to provide some addtional info. Posting the alarms page from BBS might help point us in a good direction as well...

Hey Guys,
I decided it was time to just move to JB so I backed up what I wanted and moved to AOKP JB with Siyah kernel. Its working great (except for
Chrome) and I'm having much better battery life and my Android OS isn't going crazy anymore. I really appreciate the replies. But, as a FYI, I was running AOKP ICS with Fluxxi kernel (latest everything). Sorry for not getting back to you guys soo quickly, had trouble with family!
