[Q] Galaxy S2 Charges very slowly and without animation

Hi there,
I have a Galaxy S2 for about a year and a few months from here started very slowly charge the battery (via USB loads ridiculously slow) and I noticed that previously the animation when charging the battery was animated and now appears only a small lightning .
I noticed also that the light on the original Samsung Dock no longer turn on when I put the mobile phone there and also the mobile phone does not connect very well with the PC via cable.
When I bought the mobile phone he carried it quickly via USB.
I've done the restore factory settings, installed the original ROM again (always had the original ROM) and have already cleaned the contacts on port.
Know someone who has had these problems and have them solved? I would appreciate a response from you.
Thanks to all

[Q] Slimbean 4.3 Official and Charging Problem

Hello,
I used Cyanogenmod 10.2 nightlies few weeks ago. Then I passed to Paranoid Android 3+. But after some reboot loop issues, I tried to find out a more stable rom which made me come to Slimbean 4.3 official stable. It was all good for the first 3 days. No more glitchs or bugs which I had on the both other custom roms. But yesterday morning my phone just stopped charging.
I usually plug my phone to the stock wall charger at night before I go to bed and I unplug it and go to work. That night I didn't plugged it because I just wanted to try Sleep As Android app. My battery was about %53 when I took it to the Airplane Mode and started the app. In the morning, when I woke up it was about %23 and I plugged it to the wall charger at work. And voila! Nothing happened. The battery icon was like its charging but the count did not augment. When I powered off the device battery circle was gray and did not charge the device. I tried my charger with a Note 2 and it worked perfectly. I thought my battery died and bought a new stock battery from the Samsung Shop. It came with %50 battery in it. Few hours after, when I came home and plugged it to the charger. I noticed that the exact problem is still remaining.
I wiped (factory format, wipe cache/dalvik cache) the device using the TWRP 2.6.3 (the latest) and restored my PA3+ backup. Device became chargable again but it was so slow. I wiped again and restored my first custom roms backup (CM 10.2) which had a reboot loop issue. Interestingly there is no reboot loop issue this time and it shows like its charging but it seems a bit slow to me again. I powered off the device and Red Led Indicator showed up and green battery image showed like its being charging (which never happened when I'm on Slimbean)
I think it's a software issue. I really like Slimbean Rom and I want to use it. But I don't know how to charge my phone when I'm on Slimbean.
Is there anyone with similar issues?
Thank you.
Happened to me also
Slim bean 4.3 ruined my phone
I changed my rom
The problem is the same
Slow battery charging
And cpu is always on 1400mhz
I don't know what is the problem

Getting same issue have full wiped Inc system format. Only installed slimbean. No gaps. Charges extremely slow. I have to turn off phone you charge it. The charging indicator when off shows grey circle and no green battery.
Any idea

[Q] Reconnecting of charger to get to 100% charge (AOSP rom)

Hi,
Installed the latest SuperNexus 2.0 rom on my S3.
Have this weird issue when charging from really low (0-20%). I leave it charging overnight. Wake up and it's stuck at 60%~
It won't go any higher. I'll need to reconnect the charger in order for it to resume charging to 100%.
Any ideas?
Factory reset.
Reflash rom
Is that really the solution?
It's a clean installation. No app restores or anything like that. =/
I remember it happening in the past with older SuperNexus as well as CM 4.1.2 if I recall correctly.

Custom Kernel won't charge in OFF mode. If battery dies I'm screwed!

Hi All,
Recently rooted my phone with a custom kernel and the phone does not charge when powered off for both wall USB or PC USB. It displays the grey charging battery and after 1 minute switches to the same graphic but with actual battery level and %. If I'm charging via computer, I can hear it make a USB connection sound at this point and after 5-10 seconds it disconnects. and the grey battery graphic comes back. And then this whole process repeats over and over again. The phone charges perfectly when its ON though, no problems at all! Only when its OFF do I have this issue.
I've tried Siyah, Speedmod, Dorimanx kernels with a combination of ROMs but it always has the same issue. Flashing back to Stock ROM fixes this offline charging issue. I think the issue is Kernel. The cable is not a problem cause I've switched it and I've cleaned the USB port on the phone. Changing back to stock ROM always works.
Anyone else have this problem? It's a serious one because if the battery ever dies out on me, I won't be able to charge it back unless I use an external charger.
any ideas..
Maybe it's battery related. Try another one.

[Q] S3 - Dead Condition

Hi guys,
Yesterday, I have encountered a strange problem with my S3. I was using CM 12- Beta 1. I had a strange bug with charging. Unless I enable unstable charging power, the charging rate falls down to 100mA. So, I have used @JustArchi's ArchiKernel ( @Moster2's build ) for LP. I have used kernels like Archi Kernel, Boeffla Kernel with unstable charging power enabled since past few months and had no problems previously.
I, then kept my phone for charging and when I saw it after 5-10 min, a charging animation with 0% battery shown up and the device got hot. I took off the charger and tried to switch on but it didn't work. I'm only able to switch on the device when it is connected to charger. But, it got stuck at Samsung logo. I have quickly entered the download mode and flashed a stock rom via odin.
I'm trying to switch on while charger is connected but the phone keeps on switching off at Samsung logo or even before the appearance of Samsung logo. When I left it for charging, the same thing started happening. Charging animation shows up and suddenly it becomes like a dead phone and restarts again to show up charging animation. Once, I was able to get past the boot screen to Samsung's lock screen but it switched off within fraction of seconds. What could be the problem? Is this an end to my S3? Please help me to find out the problem.

Thank you Archi. Is it because I have enabled unstable charging power?

Can't tell you. It may be that, or your battery simply ended it's life. Nobody will assure you that unstable charging is secure, moreover, under certain circumstances it may NOT be secure.
