I'm having problems syncing my new S3 with my Outlook contacts and calendar, it gets to 40% and then sits there forever.
Win 7 X64, Outlook 2010, latest version of Kies
I have a similar problem. Kies start syincing but hangs when it tries to sync with my outlook calendar. If I disable calendar sync it works all fine.

Any ideas how to fix sync with outlook contacts, calendar etc just wont sync!
Please update your Active sync from Microsoft website, the latest active sync will do just fine

My situation:
I used outlook account (google) on my HD2.
Then I chose ActiveSync to sync my Contacts, Calender and Mail.
ActiveSync makes a "exchange" (Google has sort of) and the sync with my PC worked.
--> I could sync my mails, contacts and calender with google.
I dont used outlook for this (get the normal web access of google mail.
What I want
I want to sync my Contacts, Mails and Calendar with Outlook on my PC
I tried it at home (Win7, Office2010 32bit, WMDC) and it worked so far that I can sync calendar as well as Contacts (that was the easy part)
What I want and is not working yet:
Sync Emails (get an error message that the sync is not complete in WMDC)
My Outlook (PC):
I have 3 IMAP Accounts (google and 2 others)
No Outlook "configured" on HD2 at the moment (as I end the exchange sync with google, my account on hd2 was deleted)
Question:
Is it possible to sync my IMAP Accounts with the HD2 (It would be okay, if only one account is working)
My standard pst (PC) contains no emails because I only have IMAP and no POP and for IMAP Outlook does not use the standard inbox.
Hm... Shouldn't be a unknown problem should it be? Anyone got this working?
You should just set up the accounts on the phone and separately on the PC.
I can't really comment on WMDC, but with ActiveSync between the phone and the computer I wouldn't let it sync anything you are syncing via IMAP. Any changes you make on the PC will be updated to the net and the next time the phone syncs it will update from the net (and visa versa).
I have an Exchange account on my phone and the same on my work PC. When they are plugged together, the only thing that is synced is favourites.

My HD2 is running the standard T-Mobile ROM (I know!) and has been working fine using an over the air sync my Exchange server. However, in the last few days both mine and my bosses HD2's have stopped syncing the calendar from Exchange to the HD2. Emails, contacts etc are fine.
Appointments added to the phone sync back to Exchange and appear in Outlook, but any appointments added to Outlook do not sync back the other way. I have tried removing the server partnership and adding again, have rebooted the server etc.
If I watch the Activsync screen whilst it syncs, it actually sees that there are items in the Calendar to be synced but they don't appear and there are no errors.
Any suggestions would be great!

I am trying to sync outlook 2007 calendar to my SGS2 using KIES. in the Sync tab of kies " Sync Schedule with outlook" and " Sync Memo with Outlook" is greyed out.
Can someone help me out with this?
I need to sync my work calendar which is Outlook 2010 to my new Note. I have installed Kies and it worked the first time I did a sync, now it only goes up to 40% and then just hangs out forever. Is there any other way, besides hooking my Note up to the Exchange server, work will not allow that (right now), to sync my calendar, I do not want my email.
I did try to search the forums, but came up with syncing music!
