I just installed the miui v4 in my i777 and its camera looks like the stock camera we have in samsung based roms..is there any possibility
of porting miui v4 camera for cm9? Extracting the apk and installing did not work.any help would be grately appreciated.

pretty sure it IS the stock camera from Touchwiz, as if I recall correctly the i777 MIUI v4 is the touchwiz base....

Hi people I am using CM 7 by behradgh's CM7 and i want the touchwiz launcher, phone.apk and contacts.apk for CM7 is there any way i can have these 3 on CM7 i know the TW launcher is already there but in all I want my CM7 to look and have functions of the samsung rom with CM7 feature can some please help
Too bad , you'll have to flash back to Stock ROM because Phone.apk is one of the hardest to port

simple answer : NO [until you get source of the app from samsung insiders for ace]
why don't you try out latest camera ICS from market which is now compatible with GB

this one is free version with ad support... if you like features you can but it from market
Not even close to stock 2.2 GB stock camera on my xperia pro. Stock is simply so good.

you will need to check i debugging logcat why it isnt starting
i think it will need to have framework.jar hacks as when we wanna run lg apps perfectly on our device we need to addsmalis to framework.jar to
and also permissions
etc
it requiers a small job

Its not an MIUI rom. Its based on stock XXLF3 just theme is ported. Just the icons and theme is MIUI based. You can try...i think (havent tried it myself) dominic has removed all the bugs.

No, but you can use Camera Zoom Fx or JB Camera +, they work brilliant!

some miracle happened in my S3 and suddenly touch to focus when enabled flash light is working on CM10.1 4.2.2 (temasek) !!:laugh:

Im having/had this same problem on CM, and Liquidsmooth (based on CM10.1) with all the cameras on 4.2.2 versions.
Am now searching for the standard samsung camera apk/zip... can anyone help with this???

i'm using CM10.1 build v96 by temasek with siyah kernel 1.9.1. i myself do not know how this is working ! though if your rom has a camera issue, flash huawei camera (from CWM) from thems and apps section and everything works in it on aosp and aokp roms ! :good:

I'm running liquidsmooth JB v2.1 stable (4.2.2) AOSP based on CM10.1. Siyah 1.9.1, using primary Rom. I've tried flashing 2 or 3 camera zips for the photosphere feature, but the all have the touch to focus with flash issue.

Thanks, the Huawei cam works, crashed once, cleared cache and dalvic then re-installed zip and so far no problems.. Just need it with photosphere now!

i do not know how but my stock CM camera is also working with touch enabled focus
