He's asking for + not i . And anyway I think superoneclick works.
I totaly misread that anyway super one click does work perfectly on + my dad used it
IT does not has froyo it has gingerbread ...see its specs ....i am asking for root, cwm, stock roms(samsungfirmware?) ,odin?
ok fine but none of the ^^ would help.. there is modified kernel to be flashed first and then apply some rooting method.. and there is already cwm + custom kernel but not here..
Root + CWM
Custom Rom
and to my surprise googling directly gave links to some forums where methods were mentioned so looks like you haven't taken pain to do so :/

and i want to know if this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1095274 will support
I am new to rooting did read most info but scared abit
Thanks
You can root without the need to insecure kernel. The method is available in the root guide in the official firmware thread in the dev forum.
If you want to use an insecure kernel then you can use anyone of them, doesn't need to match your current firmware... just chose the latest one.
Thanks for the fast reply this mean i can use Lite'ning Rom v6.1 XXKH3 = http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1095274

I have no idea how you got to that from the above, but yes, I guess you could use Lite'ning ROM, but that's nothing to do with what you asked for. Do you understand the difference between kernel, ROM and root?

Hi,
I just got my Android and happened to Root it with a firmware containing CWM because I really had no clue as to what it was. Now I would want to be able to remove this icon CWM from my phone. I have tried flashing the kernel to no avail. Please help me with a step by step procedure to remove it since I'm absolutely new to Androids. My S2 runs gingerbread 2.3.6. I did check the web but am so confused with all the options provided.
Thanks in advance.

It is strongly recommended to back up stock ROM before u give try to Custom ROM.
*#1234# - Check your Firmware version before u do Rooting and make a note some where
You can use those information to download your STOCK ROM from many website (google them)

Since you are rooted, use any file explorer with root access and delete the cwm manager.apk.
Second option is use root un-installer and uninstall the cwm manager

in some Firmwares CWM is included in system applications, so cant simply uninstall it, you can use Titanium backup application to uninstall system apps,
But before uninstalling better you learn more about Rooting and the functions of this app and other root apps. This is a very usefull app in the rooted and Clockwork mod installed devices, for rebooting into recovery easily, kernel flashing, backing up of the Rom ect..
you can have informations from below sticky thread as well as from my signature links.

I installed CWM to test some custom ROMs on my device. What if for some i reason i have to take my mobile to service center.
Will they charge me (even if my device is under warranty) because i have installed CWM?
Do I really need to remove CWM? If yes, how??
Do you have a 3rd stupid question to ask?

Yes you will need to remove root so flash Sam firmware with mobile Odin and don't root. Now back to stock.
Or send it in and report bk

It would be very helpful if you can provide a link for reference

Thanks for replying andrewwright!! (you too "theunderling"!!:angel
I haven't actually installed CWM yet and came here to clear my this doubt.
Why Sam Firmware (if Sam = Samsung) while my device is XOLO q800? Can I take a backup of my my stock firmware in some way because XOLO is not a popular brand and I won't get much support(stock firmware) over internet.
Also, I read somewhere that particular firmware corrosponds to a particular chipset(mine is MT6589), is it true??
I would really appreciate if you can provide a link for reference where I can read further or otherwise some people will keep yelling here "noob......noob"

Probably yes!
Please post your Rom details.
I used a similar method to root my sgs2 for the first time a long time ago...anyway i had the same problem, what happened was that it only rooted the phone for me and for cwm i had to flash cwm 4(latest at the time) as a .tar file so maybe that will fix it...try it!

Hey bud, If you want to check if you are properly rooted or not try updating script in su or download a root only app like titanium backup & run it. If it comes up with a permission request then all good you're rooted. As for the cwm app, many people including myself avoid it like the plague as it can have incompatibility problems with "cwm recovery" which is different to the "cwm app". If you must have it you can download from the playstore, but make sure you flash zips through recovery not the app.
CWM is part of the kernel, so if you want it you must flash such one like CF-Root or Siyah.

And where can i a "original stock kernel" for a german Galaxy SII (IML74K.XWLPI) ?
Thanks for ur helpful replies, I was able to download CWM and reflash it using Odin, however when I tried installing new ROMs using CWM recovery mode, the phone wouldnt start, although that when I finish installing the .zip file everything seems to be done correctly, but my phone just wouldnt launch, when I turn it on I get the Samsung GT-i9100 and the yellow ( ! ) mark cause I didnt flash a secure kernel yet, then its gets stuck on the resurrection remix loading phase
Any inputs guys ? regarding I was able to restore the stock rom and launch the phone regularly, but now I can not :crying:
Can you get to recovery or download mode?
You can find at http://androidfirmwares.net/
U can check root by root checker app at play store.

Guys i got to root my phone and install cyanogenmod 10.1, am familiar with doing it.. just confirm if am going correct,:
1) Downloaded the latest nightly (cm10.1), odin3, GS3 usb drivers installed, and siyah (.tar)...
2) backupd all my contacts and messages,
3) put the phone in download mode.. connect usb,.. flash siyah kernel via odin.,
4) remove usb cable, put the phone in recovery mode.,
5) do a wipe, clear cache, system reset(internal)..,
6) install zip from sd .. flash the cm10 nightly, then again the gapps.
7) reboot.
am i going correct?? should i proceed.
besides if someone would let me know their views on cm10.1 , as its mentioned tha " graphics: bad performance, lags " is that something really to be botherd about..?

Thanks, atleast answer this, is the chainfire root v6.4 safe from sudden death issue,..? i really screwd my s2 last time due to that bug and dont want s3 to share the same fate.. little help would be appreciated.
You are better using auto root and then flashing a recovery like Phil's that includes the fix, but I'm not sure if Chainfire updated the old cf root, if he did then it should be fine, check his thread to see if he updated it with the fix

see .. if i flash siyah.. i get root + recovery.. and after flashing cyanogenmod 10.1 the kernel would be replaced by cm kernel, which is free from that issue ( acc to some thread),and i guess siyah's recovery is protected as he has mentioned it in the changelog..
