Is it possible to completely disable the SMS service ?
I am receiving spam and I have to pay for each message.
I also never use SMS, only emails.
Thanks,
Did you tried to erase the message center?
Or just put another number there which is unreachable...
perhaps use this or this to disable you message application from recieving sms?
no idea if that'd work, but it's the only suggestion i've got sorry

I don't see that particular sms as being sent in my sms list ?

Hi. I'm having issues recieving text messages from a single contact.
I'm using the Huawei X1 - running Subpsyke's latest rom. I use GoSMS.
The thread I speak of has 5522 messages in it - and I am unable to recieve messages. They send fine and I can't get them.
I believe that this may be because of the huge thread size. Is there any way of preserving these messages but creating a second, new thread for the same contact? Or does anyone have any other fixes?
Thankyou.

Is there an app out there that can backup SMS/MMS (either to Gmail or HTML) so that SMS and MMS are in the same thread (not separated), and readable without the need for the phone?
I've seen SMS Backup+, but that separates SMS from MMS, so a conversation thread isn't contiguous.
I've also seen MyBackup Root, but it also splits SMS and MMS apart.
Anyone know of anything better? or more versatile?

Hi we want to send delivery status messages to users using whatsapp, but, if the user does not have whatsapp installed then we want to know so that we can send a simple SMS message.
How can we get the info back to make that decision?
Thanks in advance
Simon
