[Q] data recovery - Sony Xperia P, U, Sola, Go

Hi
is anybody know if it's posible to recovery some data of a phone who fall in the water ( mother card damaged)?
Sorry for the english

As the memory module is soldered onto the board its going to be prohibitively expensive if not impossible to do.
This is one of the reasons that most of my data is automatically pushed elsewhere.

[Q] Motherboard Replace

Hi ,
My phone went inside water, and had to change the motherboard.
I gave it to shop.
Now i want to know if he has replaced a new one or just repaired my old one.
Does everything wipes out when new motherboard is replaced with new one ? (pictures, games, kernel)
There would have been no way to extract data from the old internal storage, so no. Data on the sd card could be transferred. Best way to check is compare the IMEI number to the old motherboard IMEI.

A phone legally must retain its imei. Thats why motherboard replacements are reprogrammed with the original imei.
Sure, they may not have complied and given it a different imei.
If it has a different imei - tells us definitely swapped mobile
If it has sane imei - tells us nothing

Yes but same if repaired and new firmware flashed .
Not cost effective to repair a motherboard in most cases and if it was wet then failed components are multiple .

Disassembling an s3 and removing the motherboard takes 10 min and no skills. No decent repair center will bother testing all the components.
The problem is the imei cloning that can need programming skills and not always done it seems as many users find an unusable phone after motherboard repair.

[Q] T999L Parts Help?

I need to find a replacement SIM/ SD module (a small part which contains the slots the SIM and SD chips go in) for a Galaxy S3 SGH-T999L. I am not sure whether parts for the T999 would be compatible with the T999L. The part is everywhere for other model numbers, but replacement parts for the T999L seem impossible to find. Is it possibly the same part as the T999? I wouldn't know. I have searched high and low for the answer to this seemingly simple question, and I'm the only person I know of to ever raise this question on the internet, which I think is just funny.
Thanks for any any answers.
Jason
I tried to do a mother board swap from a t999 to a t999l but the bezels don't line up but the screen and digitizer should be compatible...
Let me know how that turned out. There is 2 pins missing from the sim tray on a T999L and I see that I can buy the T999_ but I'm not sure if I'm about to eat $10

C6806 transfer memory chip to new logic board

Does anyone have any experience soldering a new memory chip to a logic board? Basically, I flashed a FTF on my C6806 (GPE) Z Ultra which was a big no-no. I just bought a working logic board with a bad IMEI. I never used it as a phone, so WiFi is perfectly fine. However, if there is a way to transfer the "new" bad IMEI's memory chip to the "old" messed up board, I would certainly be willing to try.. The other question is, will this have any effect, as the IMEI might be on that chip so all I'd be doing is transferring a bad IMEI to another board, which will still have a bad IMEI.
Or can I repogram my non-working logic board's IMEI to the "new" logic board I got and replace the bad IMEI?
Sorry for the confusing post. Just looking for options before I install the bad IMEI board and only have a wifi tablet.
Thanks in advance.

Swapping Motherboards to recover data

So, here's my dilemma. I'm trying to recover photos off an AT&T Galaxy S3 with a broken LCD display. Haven't messed with it yet, as it belongs to a friend, and I haven't been able to get my hands on it yet. From what I understand, the data is stored in a chip on the motherboard. I have in my possession a Sprint Galaxy S3. I had originally planned on swapping the screens, but after watching quite a few videos on YouTube, it seems they're a little tricky to get out without cracking them. No problem if you're removing a broken screen, but I would need the Sprint screen to remain intact when I remove it, so I could put it in the AT&T phone. What I would like to do instead, is remove the motherboard from the AT&T phone and put it in the Sprint phone. That way, theoretically, I could access all of the photos saved internally on the motherboard. But I'm worried about compatibility issues. The last thing I want to do is fry her motherboard and lose her photos forever!! Anyone have any idea if this will work?? For the record, I do not care if the phone is ever able to access a cellular network again. All I want is access to the photos.
Or, is there an easier way to do this??
Her phone is locked, not rooted, and without a display there's no way to enable USB debugging, so I don't think I can access them via ADB. Is there software out there that can access data on a locked phone?? I absolutely have her permission to do this, and the photos mean a lot to her. They were taken when she studied abroad in the Czech Republic, so I really want to be able to make this work!!

Dead s3 neo motherboard replacement

Hi,
My s3 neo has died because of over voltage (unstable electricity) and I think the motherboard is dammaged.
I want to replace it with a new one, but if I do so will my data remain on the phone or it is gone with the old motherboard ?
and if its gone , is there any possible way to transfer the data from a dead motherboard ???
Thanks for your time in advance ?
If its dead you can't recover the data but i think few gsm service might be able to do it. Because data chip is on mobo data will be gone if you change it
