Thanks
did you flash the kddi radio?
Have you tried:
Type *#*#INFO*#*# into phone dialer.
Select Phone Information.
Select GSM auto (PRL) under "Set Preferred network type".
Not sure if those are included in the instructions you mentioned, but GSM network settings are hidden in some ROMS if GSM isn't selected in the menu above.

All righ guys I've decided to open this thread so we can work more specific with the phone.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 SCG-I545L (from Open Mobile PR) wich i want to use with a GSM carrier. So far this is all I've been trying and the info i can provide (will include Screenshot)
It does not have the option to choose gsm on network.
I've downloaded a stock 4.2 firmware and tried to install it with Odin and with Safestrap but instantly failed, no software damage occurred.
Tried to access hidden menus but no luck with any code.
Somewhere in this forum i'vs read about enabling those options, did the steps but no luck.
Downloaded the ServiceMode Shortcut apk from PlayStore and for my surprise this is what I found (image attached)
Just finished installing the hyperdrive rom but cant switch from CDMA/LTE to GSM/UMTS or Global. When I select the option it automatically go back to CDMA. Manage to insert APN successfully.
Flash it again and still do the same, flash it with the att and still search for cdma, when i set to manual search it said "error while searching for network".
anyone? any soggestion?

Hi, i buy a lenovo lemon 3. I rooted it, install xposed and install gapps. Ok, but now have a new problem. When i select prefered network in testing menu (Dial code), if i select WCDMA preferred change automatically to GSM only. If i select LTE change to GSM only, only work change to unknown.
Only detect 2G networks.

EDIT:
I Solved my Problem by Flashing Baseband.

aLast week, my phone (was using Resurrection Remix) suddenly got bootloop
After getting it back to stock with RUU 3.41.651.4, it got no signal, SIM card's detected but can't search for network, can't change preferred network (all options set back to WCDMA preferred)
In *#*#4636#*#* > Phone information: can't change preferred network , "turn on radio" button doesn't work.
I've tried manu RUU versions but nothing help.

I've brought this LG G3 Verizon back in June. I'm running CM 13 20161102 build. Everything seems to work fine except the 4G services. When I change the preferred network type to LTE, the network bar disappear and shows no service. 3G and 2G work fine. I've also tried changing the preferred network type from *#*#4636#*#*, still no profit. I also tried changing the APN, still no luck. Please help me. (I'm using this phone in India). Thanks in advance.
UPDATE: I just found out that I have to enable the LTE bands. So using TWRP, I restored the stock KitKat ROM backup. Then I used Shortcut master to access the hidden menu, selected all bands and restarted my device. Then 4G seemed to work. Then I again restored the CM13 backup. I saw that the problem still persists. I want to know if there is a hidden menu in CM13 like the stock ROM has? If yes, please tell me how to access it and enable LTE bands. Thanks.
