Evo 3d vs...

Evo 3d vs galaxy nexus. Which is better? Does the fact that the nexus isn't dual core make it less powerful?

Galaxy Nexus IS 1.2 GHz dual core!
If you like Sense + Amazing build quality then EVO 3D, but if you just want updates quicker and slightly higher specs then Galaxy Nexus.

On the sprint site it says 1ghz single core?

The nexus isn't anything that spectacular other than a big screen and ICS which I believe the evo will get an update for soon....I hope. I personally prefer HTC products.

are you using GSM or CDMA RAZR?
i'm just able to tell about GSM RAZR cause i don't have the CDMA one
for GSM you should use Arctic ICS by mattlgroff or Epsilon by core720 and Leisures
both are running fast and stable and for me everything worked
hope i could help you
Cdma. Thanks for responding as I think artic is available for both.

Droid DNA vs galaxy s 3 (Verizon)

Hi I currently have a galaxy nexus on Verizon and a line on plan has a upgrade available. I narrowed down my choices to the Droid DNA and Galaxy S3 and would like to know the ups and downs of both phones. Also does the DNA have a good cellular antenna, because the one on the nexus sucks. Thanks Nico

In most aspects the dna beats the s3, including the antenna. The s3 antenna is pretty much as bad as the galaxy nexus.

ROM porting question.

Can ROMs for the vzw s3 be ported over to the note 2? I'm sure they can, just wondering.

actually i dont believe they can be seeing that the s3's processor is a Qualcomm MSM8960 Snapdragon, while the note 2 is an Samsung Exynos 4 (4412). also the s3 (in the us) is clocked @1400, while the note 2 is clocked @ 1600. the only probable port would be the i9305, it also has an exynos chip, but still clocked @ 1400.

note 2: http://www.phonearena.com/phones/Samsung-GALAXY-Note-II_id7254
s3 (us): http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_s_iii_i747-4803.php
lot more to it then just that. porting from another carrier base isn't hard but it's a whole different story from another phone.

Yeah I see you guy's point. I'm nothing near as intelligent as a developer, but I do enjoy learning about these things, which is why I ask questions. I want to get into developing so I can make my freaking HTC sense 4 ROM for my note 2. But I fear I have a long way to go lol. Thanks guys!!!

Is the sprint version of note 3 a octa core?

I have a note 2 and looking to upgrade to a note 3 ive watched review videos and im confused. I know the international 3g version is a octacore but I read the snapdragon 800 has a extra 4 cores? Is that true?

Sprint has the quad core. http://www.phonescoop.com/phones/phone.php?p=4262
quad core man
I think all US variants of the Note 3 are quadcore. Some of the International versions are octacore.
Is the octacore faster? Or is it just to support their networks overseas?
