Hey Guys
I recently bought my SGS2 i9100, very happy with it. However i noticed some problem.. I have observed many times that if i leave an application running in the background for quite some time, it quits automatically. It happened with torrent program..
Also my net is slow..and one of the games was downloading some data files through wifi..i left it for downloading and it also quit after sometime automatically.. tried it 2-3 times but the same result
Can anyone tell me whats wrong? Is it some phone setitings or something?or something really wrong?
I have ICS preloaded..
thanks
Could be how the phone handles multiple apps, did you fiddle with the settings in developers option?
Try setting more apps to see whether it makes a difference
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA
Hmm no i didnt touch the developer settings at all...and a testing a bit more to find out more... Also, it generally happens when i multitask and quit another application..
Anyway will test a bit more and post..
But if anyone has experienced any such problem, do let me know

Hey,
I have a Samsung Galaxy S II with stock rom.
I saw someone else had almost the same problem on another phone and posted it there in that phone's section but didn't get much help.
The device acts as if it has been paused every minute or so.
That means that whatever application I have open does whatever it would do if I would push the "sleep" (is it called that?) button and then opened it again.
For example, while writing a text message the keyboard would hide.
while running a game, the loading screen would come back on and then resume right where I was.
Thanks in advance.

Sounds like your running out of ram due to something starting up or running in the background
Download Advanced Task Killer and look there for ram or other problems and applications that my cause them.
Hi Guys, I have the same problem. I'm rooted. My phone is Cherry Mobile Flare 3.
I don't know exactly what is the cause of this problem and still unsolved. This happened when I tried to install modded play store but I think I don't like it cause I need Visa card. Then I want to bring back the original playstore with lucky patcher but it doesn't work. First I tried to back up all my apps and games with titanium back free version. And did a Factory data reset. After that I restore all my apps but whenever i tried to play games, music, videos. It always randomly pausing. F*** @-%[email protected]# I'm so tired of finding solutions. Please help me
Same problem after hard reset htc desire 310.... i think i will reset it again, and if problem persist, i Will flash the stock rom ... help, me if i have other solutions
Hello all,
My girlfriend is having issues with her Galaxy Ace regarding Facebook uploading and Sharing. whenever she tries to share anything to facebook, it stays on 0% for around 10 minutes and gives error that it can't be uploaded, the same goes for any app that tries to upload to facebook. I have installed various roms and kernels and the problem still exists. Her account is working as I tried it on my phone and it uploads without any problems so it's not facebook that's causing it. Also I have logged into my account on her Ace and it still has the same error though so i'm quite confused
I have installed and removed various apps and it all gives pretty much the same upload problem, wonder if anyone had the same problem before and can help me with this?
her current rom is Xperiatized V7 and her kernel is [CF-Root-S5830 3.7] B84
many thanks in advanced
Mostly an app problem

Well not sure, but the previous kernel installed with Xperiatized given the same problem? was experimenting to see if it was the kernel that was giving the problem with uploading but the problem still exists lol any help on choosing the best rom or kernel even to fix this weird problem?
This is not an kernel or rom problem. Mostly seems an app or data packet size problem.

really? is there a way to solve it as I don't seem to see anyone with the same issue as my girlfriend? it's a combiniation of apps like the official facebook for android, friendcaster, Instagram is experiencing this and it's been a full wipe and clear before Rom updates even when removing the app to redownload, clear cache, clear data and uninstall before reinstalling a fresh download from Play Store/Market and still the same thing, thanks for you help in this as i've been losing my whits trying to figure this out lol
also, this has been only tested uploading over wifi at the moment as 3g has been giving the same problems as this at the moment
Anyone can help me with this weird problem? i've checked everything on the phone, factory resets everything and still gives that error =[
-Try on wifi, use another ace as wifi router.
-try on different telco ?
-Do you use firewall app like droidwall ?
-maybe tweak script installed, remove it bcause some of them alter tcp/ip parameter.
-Try upload using, whatever browser on your phones. If succes then app problem, if same then rom problem.
-reflash stock rom, if your problem still there, then its time to reconsider to sent to samsung service or buy the new ones whatever brands.
Hi,
I've tried on my wifi router and few others, on my HTC incredible, I can upload no problem using my wifi connection but on my girlfriend's Ace, it either sits at 0% or jumps to 20% and doesn't move till it times out, these are small images only like 450k that i've tried uploading even tried bigger and still the same thing, tried to upload using the the default browser but facebook times out or redirects me to the android app page on google play.
there's no firewall, antivirus or anything like that on it and I haven't installed any tweak apps nor alter any settings other than ringtones and accounts and that's it really
i'm going to flash another rom at the moment to see if it improves the problem or remains the same, a stock rom you say? which one shall I use or where to get it?
many thanks for your help diditdr! =D
update. flash back to a stock ROM and it's working well but the upload problem exists by the gallery share, facebook app and even through the internet browser as well, it's like the phone is unable to upload anything at all? maybe blocked by facebook? not sure! wonder if anyone has input on this at all?
I have the same issue with facebook photos uploading. using Cm fat
you have the same problem as me wiceqq, you can't upload to facebook at all and in your notification area the facebook bit is in bold font and doesn't shift? no matter what app you use to upload it's the same thing?
wonder if anyone there can help us with this problem? it's not very common as I can't find anything about it on the web, anyone an help us?
I do have the same problem... Im just getting that error on 1.8.x version, it works fine on 1.7.x.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1488937
really? can't upload through the internet browser either as it times out? would the app be causing that too by any chance?
Bump, does anyone know how to fix this problem at all? I've installed an older facebook app to see if that was the problem but it wasn't. It's still doing the same thing as I've described above in my earlier posts. can anyone help?
Hey, I have tried searching the forums but did not exactly come across the answer I was looking for. So, I am on my Samsung Galaxy SII and I just rooted my phone recently. I was having the problem of wifi sharing sucking up my battery, so I rooted my phone but at the same time I decided to try freezing up a few apps that I did not need to free up more ram and get more battery life. So, I followed the "safe to remove app" thread and I removed apps that were said to be safe from the spreadsheet, but could someone please tell me what is needed to run Youtube and the IM applications? For Youtube, everything works fine, until I get to the video part. I click on the video, and it never loads, the circle keeps spinning. I would think I disabled something important for loading the videos there as I can still load Youtube videos when I go to the website. Also, with IM I almost have the same problem. When I click on the application, the entire screen is black, with just the loading circle in the middle, but nothing ever happens. These two things seem to be the only problems I encountered so far. I only froze apps that were said to be for sure safe to remove. Nothing under caution or no. I hope someone could help me with this problem! Thank you guys so much for all your help! I do not know much about my phone as I just rooted it.
Not sure about IM app, i suggest try imo messenger.
For Youtube, did you remove video app?
(Videos; com.sec.android.app.videoplayer; VideoPlayer.apk)
Although im not 100% sure, I would bet that it's the cause of the video playback problem.
I think better to re-run all the frozen apps so that you will know that those frozen apps caused the issue. If not, then you have a corrupted system.
Alright, thanks for your help guys! I guess in the back of my head, I already knew I had to go back and test out each and every quarantined app again. I was just hoping someone knew exactly what was needed for those applications. Thanks though!
Ive had my s3 for about a month now, and everything is amazing... except for one thing. whenever im browsing the internet in any form, whether in a browser or an app like facebook the phone start reading everything aloud, and i mean everything.. every word, every hyperlink, everthing! its insanely annoying, if im in a public place i have to mute my phone just to shup it up. ive tried about 5 different browsers and they all do the same thing. ive disabled all sorts of settings (including all the visually/hearing impaired ones).
it persists!
any suggestions would be most appreciated!
thanks in advance
Have you installed 'light flow'? If so, uninstall it, it's a bug.
Yeah.. I've got Light flow., I'll try uninstalling it.. it's a shame, light flow is pretty awesome.

An update was released yesterday. Maybe it's fixed it? (though it doesn't say so in the blurb)
Hi friends,
I am facing this issue of slow processing with all the tasks I do on my tablet.
It's there from long time now but I didn't bother to fix it as it's just for reading or surfing nothing much.
But it's too much now and it takd seconds to open apps or moving through apps as well.
Is this with everyone or I have to do something about it?
Just to mention here, I tried turning off motions, effects etc. Options it does look helping at first glance but after sometime same again.
Please help me out, I don't want to waste money changing these gadgets now.
Thanks!

Had this issue a few weeks back a factory reset sorted it is running fine now and ready for the pie update next month. All my stuff is backed up to google but I did not do a restore just reinstalled all the apps manually as I know restore can slow a device in the long run.
