in noisy environment the volume of the earpiece is very low
is anyone else facing this problem with xperia sola?
I have same problem. Very annoying when it's noisy around and I have to focus very well to hear anything. I've sent query to sony help centre, I'll see what they say. Does anyone know maybe how to increase in-call volume level as highest setting is not enough?

Hi, just both Xperia x 10 mini for my wife, and totally upset.
Nobody (including me) can normally speak with my wife , because of awful sound quality: seems like microphone has very high fidelity level, sound is overamplified, permanent distortions, noises, echoes and so on, especially in high frequencies range. Originally came with 2.0.А.0.504 firmware, updated with PC- companion to 2.1.1.C.0.0 -> no changes, problem persists. Was by “service”, after 3days check, they told me , that diagnostic did not found any problem with mic ->no changes, problem persists. My try to stick mic hole with sticky tape brought only “barrel” effect to already existing distortions, no effect.
I am almost losing the Hope
The question:
Is there any way to adjust mic? (Secret menu, Custom rom, App (level control, equalizer) that controls mic permanent? ) Another tips are also welcome.

I think speaker is not loud so much, changing volume level into ringtone file. Nothing happens, only distortion of sound. In my opinion there is nothing to do with this. I se no solution
Sound when playing music is degraded when volume is increased. The sound is completely distorted with volume after 40%. What is the problem? Software or hardware? I would be thankfull if anybody has any idea.
