You linked to the older RUU version and I tried the latest and it errors out. Have you been able to flash this and if so what ROM and Kernel are you running and which version did you flash?

anyone tried that?
is it working on the 1.3 build as well?

Here`s the link for Base 1.30.xx

As stated above, doesn't work with either kernel, task Rom, 1.3 base. Recovery flash for install, no mods or tweaks outside of custom Rom.

after you flash the mod, go into display settings and turn off animations, then back on. If it doesn't work, it's probably because you're on stock which is odex, and most of these mods work for deodex.
Yeah I finally figured out why it was'nt working. I flashed a de-odex rom and its working now.

I flashed OMJ stock de-odex rom, then I flashed the crt mod I got from an evo 3d thread on android central. Any of those mods will work but the rom has to be de-odex.

For miui and cm7 based rom s?
And doomlord don't have Neo device...that's why he don't support kernel development for us....
And if he makes us kernel...then he must be development kernel also to "ray, mini, active"

Navigation buttons(soft keys) for CM9 (ICS 4.03 Only)

Hey guys I found this on some other forum. Im no dev I do not take credit for this. Just thought to share this since we have ICS for our Legends. This worked perfectly on my Legend running on [zeubea] CM9 Alpha2.4 KANG Legend rom.
Do a backup and just flash this zip. Enjoy
Thanks for posting. I'll give them a look.
They would be very useful remapping the physicals keys.
They look pretty cool, I'll give em a try.

well i tried it on CM9 first and thn on CM7.2 nightly. both worked. And the player is CM9 music player. I replaced the stock music.apk with CM music.apk . It works only on ICS 4.03
I tried flashing these on zeubea's CM9 3.0.1 and my phone stopped working. The phone process never started and continued crashing. The problem could be that the new release of zeubea's ROM is Android 4.0.4. If I find some time, I'll try them in older versions.

yes i also had the same issue.i had to flash the rom again after installing this on alpha 3.0. I guess this is made for only 4.0.3
Looks so. I'm going to try this also on Alpha4. I'll report.
I tried flashing on 3.01 and had boot loops. Reflashing gapps seemed to fix it back to how if was before, if you don't want to fully reflash the rom.

Thank you I saw this thread even installed this kernel. But if it is installed on the ViperXL+ 2.0 it does not run as a repack for the ViperXL+2.0, it does not work Wi-Fi. Maybe you have a module for it to work Wi-Fi.

Unfortunately, in addition to the boot.img, you also have to flash the modules to get it to work. Superchilpil already compiled the kernel specifically for viper ROM (see thread I posted). I've been using his.

I'm not sure what the rules are regarding sharing others work - Zarboz developed it, superchilpil compiled it, so as long as they get the credit maybe it's ok for me to share it. In the meantime, I think there is a newer build of the kernel that you can download as part of the new 4.0 Blackout Mongoose ROM. According to the OP the kernel and associated modules can be extracted from the zip file for the ROM and be flashed separately. I am going to try that later tonight and will let you know how it goes.
Edit: doesn't work

Thank you I have found the core of what you wrote. But it is not very stable on the 2.0 version. There were already reboot. If hotos will tell me otherwise I will be very grateful! Who needs the kernel here is the link http://db.tt/66koARH7
Hi everyone!
I tried this kernel and its pretty stable but system tuner only shows one core working and the others are not coming online even when the phone is running extended periods @ 100%. As such my benchmark scores are lower than even my HTC One XL. Any suggestions? I really love s2w and really would hate to lose it.
Thanks!

[Q] Link handling in SMS, browser, etc.

I recall when I first got my Evo that there was some hooplah about how the phone handled links that caused HTC to change the software some to get it into customs. I've since rooted my phone and I remember seeing somewhere that the community had figured out how to change the software back to how it "should" be. Can anyone point me to that thread? Or post directions on how to do this?
Thanks
