Remove "zoom" effect from Go launcher Ex - Defy Themes and Apps

Anyone knows how to remove the zoom animation when a app is opened from launhcer?, and use the ICS transitions instead. the latest version without this effect is 2.61.

Hmm... maybe you can send feedback to the Go dev team and ask them to make their launcher more holo with stock ics framework animations and holo drawables.

Launcher Preferences on Nero V5

I've been looking for the preferences for the launcher on nero v5 but can't find them. I just want to be able to change the actions of the buttons on the bottom of the home screen. And maybe make that background clear.
Anyone know how to adjust them?

Download "HomeSmack"
from the market. Makes changing easy.
If yoyr talking about the gingerbread launcher or tw launcer. You wont be able to make tge background clear. I suggrst you download adw launcher from the market. That is the only launcher thst im aware that lets you set a clear background on the drawer

I'm just talking about on the home screens, the buttons on the bottom for the app drawer and browser etc.
I would switch to launcher pro, but I love the app drawer in nero 5, i guess it's just the froyo launcher or something.

I like the Apps. without labels

Why not switch? You can have an identical looking dock bar like you described with the added ability to customize nearly everything.

i know what you mean. i switched to adwEx launcher but the notification bar doesnt change when i apply the theme-formely known as Nero Glass wich has the transparent backround that MWBehr made. my dialer, contacts, and notification become transparent when i use the stock launcher in bionix_v. i believe its adw based. im going to try apk manager and pull the transparency from the theme and apply it to adwEx.

Touchwiz 4.5 has the option to remove text in the dock and on the homescreen.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1061883
Landscape for the homescreen is buggy but otherwise it runs pretty smooth on the XWLA4 rom I'm running.
Thanks.. I find that tw4.5 do that, and I forgot to update the thread.

Can I replace the fugly Samsung Icons with the stock ICS?

TW4 is an abomination. I have switched to the Apex launcher which does a good job of giving a stock ICS feel, but I want rid of the fugly samsung TW icons for phone, messaging, contacts etc.
Whats the easiest way to do this?
rant
Why the **** would you bother changing the good things in stock ICS, like folders etc, and replace them with the sort of ugly and arduous **** we haven't had to deal with since Froyo in stock?
/rant
If you get Apex Pro you can use the adw ICS theme and use the icon pack from that in the Apex theme menu.
Just download an ICS icon pack and long press to change them using Apex launcher. Did a quick google search and found many. One link below.

Once you get your icon sets, Desktop Visualizer from the market gives you the ability to change any icon with any launcher and resize it depending on what you want.

Does TW give you the ability to put the app drawer icon into the center?

Yep, been using it for months. Didn't work with Holo Launcher though

Apex Launcher?

I have the NonSense ICS ROM installed on my phone. It has Apex Launcher installed which supports Go Launcher Themes. Yet for some reason it only enables the icons. Any ideas why?
There is an option for 'skin' and 'fonts' but they are greyed out.
Any way to fix this? Or is there cuttently no support for the full themes?

Have you upgraded from the free version?
According to google play Apex Launcher Pro unlocks the following features:
- Multiple configurable drawer tabs
- Unread count notifications
- Dock swipe gestures
- Two finger gestures
- More transition effects
- ADW, LauncherPro, and Go Launcher theme support
- Batch add option for folders
- Option to merge folder contents
- Widgets in dock (1x1 only)
- Overlapping widgets
- More features on the way!
Apex was cool but I have yet to find a launcher that has everything I want all in one. Each launcher has something I like, but none all in one.
I saw that, but does that just mean icon support or the entire theme? I don't want to spend the money only to be disappointed
Yeah haha that's so true! Every launcher has pros and cons haha

It all depends on the theme and if the creator of that theme made it to be universal.I've had a couple if themes to work

Go Launcher Ex doubts

Hi
I use go launcher ex i really like the effects but now i update to Jelly Bean 4.1.2 and i want to use the normal icons, is possible to only use go launcher effects? I did not find any similar theme

Not sure what you're going at but i dont think you can use Go launcher effects on Twlauncher
Are you talking about the themes or the transition animations? Go launcher has a huge number of themes, more so than any other, I believe. So getting a similar theme on another launcher may be difficult (not impossible)
If you mean animations, that's available on almost every launcher now. Try apex, nova launchers and see if they suit you. If not revert to go launcher. No harm done

Nova launcher sooo much better

For customization, go launcher pretty much beats anything out there....but....it is probably the most resource hungry launcher available. I used to use it on my old phone (galaxy W) and the amount of lag it caused was almost painful. Then i flashed a cusRom to it and started using trebuchet....much faster and smoother, but virtually no customization possible. I'm now using Apex...sort of half way between the 2 previous launchers....*some* customization and *virtually* no lag....Nova is at a similar level with Apex......

Everyone has their own opinion on launchers. Try them, find one that you like and will be happy with.
I myself use GO EX also (I froze TW). I'm happy with this one.

There are apps that allow for gesture control. Search the play store. As for transition effects, apex and nova have a few. Not as many as Go does, but c'est la vie. You can't have it all. Else if you can live with the (negligible) lag, stick with Go and find a way to skin it to look like the stock launcher.
