I plan on using AOKP when the next build comes out since it will have a working camera. Does anyone know how to get MMS working on AOSP ROMs?

Just use apn backup and restore with cricket apn settings that's what I did on devil toast cm9 and it works fine

I had to edit the apns in /system/etc with root explorer. Apn backup and restore didn't work for me.

just don't Root AFTER setting up on boost. You'll need to manually change mms server url to mm.myboostmobile.com in ##DATA# menu after flashing a rom.
back up your settings in qpst , call it BoostWorking or something, incase something happens down the road
I was s-off and rooted before flashing and how do i back up my boost settings. And do i have to configure mms settings after every time I flash a new rom?

Anyone have any luck changing prl's to boost 3g speeds on boost mobile? I changed my prl to 21xxx from 61007 and it lowered my speeds. I tried to go back to the orig. 61007 prl but I couldn't find it so I ended up changing it a modified 61007 prl and now my speeds doubled. I installed the EPST.apk from EVO 4G on my stock deoxed ROM to change my prl.

I'm currently running cm9 and I searched but my mms doesn't work. They said use voice dialer to access but I can't find one. I downloaded one from Google play but it doesn't work. Any other way to get to apn settings?
Sent from my MB855 using XDA
Voice dialer is included either with the rom or gapps.

Edit - I got it fixed. Thanks
Had to reflash gapps. Followed pg 192 on [ics] cm9 beta etc still can't send mms after rebooting.

According to the thread, you need the latest rom which was released within the last 24 hours.

I'm having an issue, when I flash CM9 or another AOKP type rom I can change my apn settings and since I use Straight Talk I need to be able to change the apns. If this has already been covered I apologize but I need some guidence.

When you first boot the phone you won't have any, you have to reboot at least one time then the list is populated.

There are several other threads on using this phone on T-Mobile in this forum. I suggest you search around for help.
The issue is that the MMS APN is wrong. There's no way in the stock VZW ROM to change it, though. You have to load a custom ROM to do it.
i give up
You need to change the APN to T-Mobile 's setting
