Hi all, firstly sorry if this has been asked and solved already, but I can't seem to find an answer.
I've just flashed by HTC Evo 3D GSM (UK) to Android 4.0.3 Cool ICS v6 GSM
My wifi works fine and everything else does, and I even think last night that my mobile Internet (3G/H) was working fine, but not I can't use the Internet on my phone. I switch mobile network on and it says that it's working and on etc.....but I only have my network strength and no mobile internet.....

I had a simillar problem but with wi-fi(which is also radio/kernel/antena-related).I was turning it on but wasn't connecting and was somehow disabling my mobile network as well.I unrooted it,same problem.Had to give it to warranty.They are still repairing it.Hope they will get it fixed soon.

Hboot is unlocked and I am S on....
Baseband Version: 10.59.9020.00U_10.15.9020.06_M
Check your mobile network APN settings, you might have to set one up to get online. Google "o2 pay monthly apn settings" or whichever your network is to get the settings.

There is an updated radio for ics roms that might be the issue. You can also try fixing permissions in recovery first. Also consider getting s-off it will make flashing kernels and radios much easier.

i have vodafone and have al the right settings:S
even to the shop of vodafone and they dont know,
they put my sim in a LG and yes on the lg Optimus 3d i have 3g,
why not on mine Neo V,

i have do that but no nothing mate, i search network to and there stand vodafone and only with 2g:S wtf is that with vodafone.

Wrong APN settings....GPRS, Wap, internet .....they all different.

Give us more information. Rooted, tweaked, some 3rd part data monitoring apps...? Try another sim card.

I root only my neo v nothing else, just original only rooted and no third apps etc, another simcard is not needed, i have a replaceble sim from the vodafone shop and that still dont work, the shop manager put my sim in the lg optimus 3d and yes that phone gets 3g so why mine not, i have a vodafone prepay card, is this enough info mate?
I think there is something wrong with your phone. try reflash the baseband with the newest flashtool
I had this problem with another cell, maybe is the same problem
I only get 3G if I contrac a 3G plan with my carrier, without a 3G plan, my cel didn't conect in 3G
try to put a SIM card with a 3G plan to test!

yes i try another simcard maybe tat work one with 3G

My problem is a little bit different. I have rooted my phone, unlocked the bootloader and flashed a custom rom (miui 2.6.8 based on 4.0.4 ics by zdunex25)
with the official 4.1.B.0.431 version, my 3G is working perfectly well, but after i flashed the new rom (with the recommended kernel by the dev) the 3G is not working
I have checked the settings to enable data and nothing is working. Does anybody have any idea on how to make this work?! Because other people with the miui rom have no problem at all and everything is perfect...

first check if you flash right rom for your phone (neo-neo v), have you tried reflash with full wipe?

in my non-rooted,non flashed phone my 3G was not working, after flashing MiUi my 3G is working

@tofumachine yes i tried that again and again... I've also tried different kernels with both the official and the miui roms. With the official, 3G is working with all the kernels and when i flash the miui rom, it just stops working! It's driving me crazy

sorry for the late answer, but i eventually figured it out. it was the rom's fault, it loaded wrong setting for the mobile internet. I checked the correct ones with the official rom and now everything is perfect!
Hi! I just love everything about the rom but I juste cant get the 4g to work please post back if you have the same problem or if you know a fix thank you.

1. do you have a 4g sim card?
2. is your service provider putting you on a 4g data plan?
These questions are for your carrier.
Of course I do sorry I forgot to mention but everything works fine on every other roms I tried, I'm now running quicksence 3.0 and I work prefect

hi there i just got my atrix and it seems that it can't see my wifi connection , i got 2 other phone can see and join the wifi network normally any help please ?
Edit: i just saw my wifi for couple of seconds but then its gone one more thing the screen turned off when i go to advance setting but the buttons still bright so i have to press power button again to wake it up whats wrong ? do you think i have to send it back ?

it came with 2.2.2 , i dont know what does radio mean if you mean my router its Asus . I have motorola defy working fine with , HTC hd working good also

well the mobile is kinda fukd up the screen lock it self and some times is see white strips and then it locked im going to return this trash and get s2 or razr
Have you tried running a difernt rom or custom software or flashing a differnt radio if one is availabe

no , but the wifi problem might goes with a new rom but the screen problem i dont think it might solve it , anyway i wont flash anything coz i wanna send it back thanks for the help man

Try to change radio.
radio (AKA BaseBand) is a package which actually provides gps,wifi connectivity.
Sometimes same radio works perfect for some person and does not work for you.
I am using N_01.100.00R and it worked perfect on Blur-based and CM7-based roms.
In order to check what is your radio:
1. Go to the home screen
2. Launch Settings
3. Go to the last option in menu ("About phone"), here check what is your "Baseband version"
4. You can find different radio references and downloads in the http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1339047
5. then flash them in CWM recovery

Works great in India, although you wont get OTA updates. So, you have to DL the RUU.exe to update the phone.
Mine worked fine in Canada on Rogers Wireless and is working fine in the USA on AT&T. Just need to add the appropriate APN data of course.
it works in India as i'm currently using it
and don't worry about OTA updates as there aren't any
when updates come just put the mode in CDMA and update it

there are 2 issues when using non-Verizon GSM SIM card. Verizon SIM card is needed.
- internet-modem
- internet pass-though

I simply unlocked the bootloader via HTC Dev, facepalm s-off, recovery, etc.
Then flashed CM10.1 & Gapps. Everything including data is working fine, just having a few common issues as noted in CM10.1 thread such as MMS problems
SIM slot is factory unlocked

I have unlocked bootloader using the manual method from mdmower's post here:

and I'm using Facepalm S-Off as well and using CWM recovery. After I flashed CM 10.1 and Gapps and inserted my sim card the most data I get is E. For the APN I'm using the post from the T-Mobile website here:

I have also used the *#*#4636#*#* in the dialer to access the Testing menu and change to WCDMA preferred. Any ideas what I might be doing wrong?

Well, I had to switch back to Neo's Infection 2.1. I Tried a whole bunch of Sense Roms and I couldn't get MMS working.. Some of them, Internet was working right away.I'm on T-Mobile BTW..
