What is wrong with Skyrocket?
**TROLL MODE**
So you thought you were getting a better phone by going to Skyrocket, found out it had a Snapdragon and is laggy and pixelated like the T-Mobile Galaxy S2 and wish you still had the original ATT eh?
I still do not see how people are not able to see that the Skyrocket and the Tmobile Galaxy S2 are nearly identical which would also mean they would have the same problems. Same Phone, different carrier, same ****.
**END TROLL MODE**
I will keep an eye out for one for ya man.....hopefully we can bring you back to the darkside.

Ill trade i have a new sgs2 perfect shape. I like the 4.5 screen . Pmd you
silver03wrx will post a thread like this in about a week. The cycle will continue.
nope i got mine from best buy too. I dont care about the money and figured I could help someone on here get it if they wanted it.
I never touched the T-Mobile version of this phone...I have att not t mobile so I never had a reason to bother with messing with the TM version. I wanted to play with it, I did and now I am trading it...if you dont like it go throw a ***** fit somewhere else. Thank you!
There is nothing wrong with the phone, I just like the snappiness of the original a little more.

[Q] To get the SGSII?

So what is everyone's thoughts on the AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II? I currently have a Moto Atrix 1 and unfortunately just cracked my screen so I am looking to get an upgrade.
I was originally hoping to get the Galaxy Nexus but it looks like, at least from the rumors, that an LTE version won't be available for a very long time.
How does the Galaxy S II compare to the Atrix 2 and some of the other phones that AT&T has?
Thanks.
There is already a few threads like it but I won't flame ya. I have owned the Atrix 1 and 2. By far the S2 is the best smart phone I have owned! It puts the other ones to shame..

the phone is complete crap. dont get it.
best phone i've ever had.
It's a terrible phone. It killed my brother and is the leading cause of indigestion in men 18 years and older.
Also, this phone has a unique feature where upon you enter your email address, the phone links directly to your soul, so that you can never replace it with another one for fear of death. DON'T GET IT! LISTEN TO ME! IT WON'T BE LONG BEFORE THE MODS COME TO SHUT THE WHISTLEBLOWER UP! RUN!

thankz so much! I am saved!!
As an advanced phone, the I777 and its international brother, the I9100, are some of the most likely phones on the market to become self-aware and launch a nuclear attack on mankind.
After that, only John Connor will be able to save us.
If you get the I727 (Skyrocket), the machines will have no chance. They will run out of battery or self destruct long before they become a danger to humanity.

Best phone I've owned. Only complaint: screen resolution. But that's not really that much of an issue.
This phone sucks! 4 reasons not to get this phone:
1. Way too smooth, am I the only one that like the occasional lag?
2. Way too many ROMs to choose from, and that's not including all the ROMs form the international I9100 version. Who wants choices anyways?
3. I hate that people on this forum are so helpful. After a soft brick you should have the rights to feel like the world has ended for at least a couple hours right?
4. And finally you should not get this phone because it's going to get Ice Cream in a few weeks.

Keeping the Note or getting the Ion or SSGs2 HD LTE...

Although coming from the dell streak I have a fondness for the form factor.......but......being hard to please and knowing of other options wondering if anyone else is going to potentially return there note before the 30 days and pick up something else......

I was thinking about that spread, too (Ion and Skyrocket HD).
I'm still on the fence. I really wanted the Ion, but I'm not even sure when that'll be available--not to mention the Sony interface has typically been kludgy. The screen resolution is nice and handling it at CES, it was very doable with one hand. The Skyrocket, also doable, but still not out.
I guess we'll see what happens at Mobile World Congress.

Pease tell me I'm crazy

Alright guys, I recently picked up a new Galaxy S III with a nice new 64 GB microSD card. After about a week of using it, I began to not like it anymore. And the reason why I stopped liking it, is because I thought about purchasing a Nexus 7. And I thought in my head, like many Android devices, it would be fragmented from my Galaxy S III. Yeah, I could've put Jelly Bean on it. But I didn't want to. I bought the Galaxy S III specifically for NatureUX. I sold my Galaxy Nexus and my iPhone 4S so I could get this phone and then have some extra cash.
Now, I have a brand-new Galaxy S III just sitting in its box waiting to be returned to Amazon, and no smart phone. So I'm using my Nokia N95, which I'm kinda loving all over again. But I look over at my little box, and open it up and mess with the Galaxy S III and wonder if I'm making the right choice. There's a new iPhone on the horizon... There's even possibly a new Nexus device on the horizon. I don't know if I should just stick to my N95, and wait for something newer. I know the S III is NOT a bad choice at all. It's relatively future-proof and what not...
I would appreciate it if some of you weighed in on this, because I am prepared to send it back Monday morning. Let me know what you think, thank you.
yes, you are kinda crazy.
but old nokias are good so you can keep using it and later in the future remove the dust from your gs3

Maybe stop thinking about other phones and be happy with what you have, to put it into perspective
Are you well fed?
Do you have clean drinking water?
Do you have shelter?
Yes to all?........sorted
First world problems.
Sell it and wait for either i5 or next nexus if you already dislike it dude.. I would
Skickat från min GT-I9300 via Tapatalk 2
What a dumb, self-serving thread. There will always be better phones coming down the pipeline. You want us to beg you to keep the S3 or something?
I'll tell you one thing that I've learned.
You can't keep thinking about future devices.
Every 6 months a new (maybe better) device is released.
If you keep thinking about the future, you'll NEVER buy any device, because you are always looking ahead.
Just stay with the best TODAY, and in the future, if there's a new device that you like, you buy it.
There's always people to buy your previous device in the future if you want to sell it.
Since you already packed it nicely, so just send it home
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
your wait for new devices will be in vain. you will be thinking the very same every 6 months. n95 is gonna serve you a very long time

No one can really make a decision for you I'd wait to see what the iPhone 5/Next Nexus bring then make your decision.
I would never consider selling a smart phone for a tablet... If it means no more smartphone (for the record I have a s3 and a n7).

oh Shayne, maybe he has got the I527. not a total waste of thread space. it is kind of boring here with the ATT device as we are the red headed step child and are fighting for table scraps.
he is merely stating what others including myself are going through. in desperate search for the light at the end of the tunnel.
many have stated they are more than happy running stock with the Xposed modules. I however am not as most all modules are not working for me. I have evan unrooted, factory reset and rerooted. with no luck.
something has got to happen. I am a diehard Samsung fan, and evan I have been trying to think of a way out.
Was hoping there will be a Mega 2, but it doesn't look like that's goning to happen. I have the AT&T I527 and while I love the screen real estate, it's a huge step back with the locked boot loader.

There is every possibilty there will be no M2, or maybe there will be. With the bootloader issue, it doesnt matter. The Mega has proven this size of phone is possible. The international model proves its popularity. I am sure by this October, someone else will put out the model without bootloader or Knox.
If ATT or Samsung havent figured it out by then, or show that they give a rats ass about their valued customers, they are going to lose a lot of folk.

I love it, but it's the cycle of life! I need to sell it while it has resale value.
Will go smaller screen, probably LG G2 or N5. The point is not that I don't like the monster screen, it's that I like variety in my phone rotation
Will come back for Mega 2 ^^

that is exactly what is happening to me... i have the att mega i717 and rooting is not enough for me.. performance on a phone is very important and to tell you guys the truth sometimes i couldn't even answer the phone because it wont respond right away when sliding the green circle (to answer)..
the most important part of a phone is being able to place and receive calls... if it cant do that then whats the point?

You guys who are leaving the Mega you should give it about a month and go with the GS5. I have a Mega coming today just for ****s and giggles. Note 3 is my primary device and August 2014 I will go with the Note 4.
I'm keeping mine. Other than not being able to flash roms, this phone is a perfect go between device. I rarely carry my Nexus 7 around anymore.
After rooting and removing all the ATT and Samsung bloat....this phone is pretty much perfect! And I am getting used to everything working the way it should....no random rebooting...gps, bluetooth, data, etc always works.
And the huge screen!!!!!!!
