here's a thread on the nexus forum that provides a huge variety of custom lockrings that i wanted to share with you all: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1704727
give thanks to the OP, he really is a machine and handles your requests very promptly.
i've confirmed these rings work on extremely similar mb520 bravo. they should work for defy/defy+ too since they are hdpi devices. just apply via metamorph.
quick tutorial (from nok07635):
1. install metamorph from play store
2. Put the attached .zip in ./sdcard/AndroidThemes/
3. go to metamorph
4. Press "No Thanks" or you want to get more apps, up to you.
5. Press "Unzip/Extract new theme"
6. Go to ./sdcard/AndroidThemes/XXX.zip
7. Press "Apply all!"
8. Wait for the progress complete (Don't turn off your phone while in progress or you may get bootloop!!!)
9. Reboot
Tried yesterday and they work perfect...
but the size of ring large

really? i didn't notice that big of a difference. hm, maybe i need to see a before and after comparison
Did you try the PadlockGoogle ? I think it's the most beautiful one, but it doesn't work on my MB525 whereas the others do...
It's the first time I use metamorph so maybe I did something wrong.
If anyone got this problem too... =)
I can confirm this works

No I've only tried the Google Nexus logo (shown above) and the chrome_trinity lock.
Hm, that's odd. If the others work for you, that means you're using metamorph correctly..
Can only get white ones to work. Skank rom cm9 latest
I've tried several some of the themes are.xdhpi not hdpi
Maybe thats why they don't all work I'm on defy red lense
Running cm9 fast black edition
I found a little trick to make xhdpi working on our defy. Just replace the folder name "xhdpi" by "hdpi", it's as easy as that... The icon is just a little bit bigger than it is supposed to be, but it's great !

So i tried 3 different ones. Googlenexus (colored), AOKP, and Nexus blue-white.
The first two didn't work. The last one once.
How i tried to install the Gnexus(colored): I tried normal install, i deleted the xhdpi folder, i got a bootloop, i reinstalled the Rom, then i deleted the hdpi folder and installed the xdpi, i deleted the Hdpi, renamed the Xdpi to Hdpi and tried.
Now i can't install either one... There are some files in the directory> Framework-res.apk and 3 zi3NtRLH zu... from the themes.
Re unzip new file retype folder name again they work fine

Yup but so far for the Rezound it is battery mods only.
Battery mods are the biggest part, is over 200 images to do it 1 by 1 is killer, I've done it and it sucks.the rest of the theme building is pretty easy and less tedious. I nominally use uot for the battery then build from there. glad to see they got it going. I've been itching to builds some themes for this phone, once I get the time I plan on getting a few out there

That's right, you only need to decompile/recompile if you're updating XML or changing icon sizes(since you have to move alignment).
So, does UOT work now? Can I stop theme'ing again lol?

Has anyone tried using the kitchen via your phones browser rather than PC? I've tried using a bunch of browsers, dolphin seems to be the only one to do anything when clicking "select file"to upload. It opens flash, says in uploads, and no files found. By chance does this use a specific directory to upload from? If so, where?

ICS has changed how it is handled. Now it is a color code and not an image. You can make it an image by redirecting the XML files to point to an image instead as I have done.

yes but you will need 2 version of apktool to do it. One to decompile and another to compile ICS. Then in the layout folder of the system ui you will need to change the xmls for the status bar to android:drawable/status_bar which is in the framework-res apk. You will also need to change the XML in the system UI folder. There is no guide. I found it by trial and error to be honest. A lot of ICS uses color hex codes instead of images now but thankfully they left the unused images in the framework-res folder

-go into settings/ststem/ hardware keys and enable custom action

This is a theme I did for the doid razr and I made some big changes to make it for the Note 2. This theme is for Jellybeans build 21 Rom. I made this theme based on stock recents and touchwiz options. I suggest you have the same options. I am running stock and unable to test so make a backup before flashing this and let me know how it goes. If something is off let me know and I will try and fix it.I don't theme (or try to theme) as much as I used too and this could be the last one for a while.
