Sometimes my push email works fine and sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes I have to go in and manually refresh my inbox. Anyone else have this issue? Is there a known fix?

Is this "Corporate Sync" on the "Email" app?
That works fine for me on .181 GB.
The .173 build didn't work - push didn't always push, but poll did always poll - so I installed Touchdown Exchange for the push issue. Now I don't need Touchdown, but it does CS so very very well...

I'm having the same problem with the built-in Corporate Sync (running ICS leak .211)
It's frustrating because Moto has consistently had issues with push email and Exchange. My old DX had a lot of problems and when I switched to the RAZR running GB everything worked great. Now it seems they've gone backwards again...

Anyone else experiencing receiving multiple Sms messages. If so does anyone know how to fix it?
Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk
Yes I have the same problem. Don't know the solution though. I got 5 of one sms and 3 of another today. Very annoying.

Is this happening from all contacts, or just a select few? If a select few, check to see if the messages coming from are from one carrier. I've had this happen to me a few times on another phone. The issue was from the other carrier, not much you can do anything about except report the issue to customer service. If you are on limited texting plan at least, otherwise ignore it.
It's from multiple carriers for me.

This has been happening to me a lot also. I have tried to do pretty much everything, but nothing has worked. I tried handcent's option to replace the stock messaging system, which only lead to me not receiving about 50% of texts. Hopefully someone has a fix for this? It's very annoying

Sorry bud, I can't parse your message here.
Yup same problem.. duplicate messages even with the stock app..
Call Verizon just for the purpose of them getting the message.
It's annoying when you get 6 messages.. I wonder if it's counting as multiple txt on the bill..

i would like to hope its doubtful that its costing extra as its mostly a problem of the phone pulling the messages multiple times, basically not ticking the "received" box on the server side of things. afterall, it is easier to count them as they pass through the network versus your phone counting and reporting back, not very efficient... mines kicked up again recently.. and yes rather annoying...
I noticed this too but it only happened after I used ATK more aggressively. I rebooted my phone and the messages stopped coming in repeatedly. Seems to have gone away now that I'm rooted. Hope that helps someone out there.

reboot, dial *228 (on Verizon) goes through the phone activation, problem solved.
Vzw tech said it could be the towers, or the phone... the only thing he was really sure about was that this fixed it.

Which option...1 or 2? I would assume #2.
I have done this FYI, it did not fix it.
Option 1 seemed to work for me.

Multi services?
Ok i intermitently have this same problem but noticed something interesting that may be related? I downloaded a startup manager program to see what was starting up on reboot yesterday and noticed there are 3 text message services running? Im assuming this may be the cause of multiple messages recieved so I have disabled 2 of the 3 instances and was still able to recieve sms but not sure if this will fix the issue or not
If you look that is the text msg app listening to different events, not 3 copies of it loading.
Im wondering if anyone else is having problems with the gmail app on their phone.
I receive all my messages just fine but I just noticed that the messages I have tried to send just sit there with the sending written in red beneath it. I have just tried sending one from the webpage to see if it works. The messages have been sitting in my outbox for two days now. It was working fine last week and I can't figure out what has happened with it now.
Any help greatly appreciated thank you
I get this as well. Very annoying. It'll sit for days saying sending...

Works Fine For Me It Sends And Receives Instantly. 2.3.5
O I forgot to mention that I tried another data clear earlier today and ut WORKED!! HURRAY! Sorry to the people who got late messages from me
I've used it completely fine without any flaws. Just to mention I don't use wifi at all, this is completely 3G. Maybe that has something to do with it possibly?
Has anyone found a solution to the missing "waiting voicemail" indicator after upgrading to the latest ROM 2.11.605.0? Is this still a known issue?
It really sucks having to rely on the missed calls indicator to determine if you maybe have a voicemail or not.
Thanks in advance for any information on this.

I think pretty much everyone has moved onto Google Voice since it's so much more convenient.

Nope. GV is free. Nothing to do with the vvm plan. I like the transcribed messages when people actually speak clearly. It's nice if you're in a meeting. I've been using it since it was first released and I've loved it the whole time. Individual outgoing messages is nifty too.
known gingerbread issue, +1 on google voice.
Since upgrading to a GB ROM I have an issue with the VM indicator not going away after I clear out my voicemail box. Is this issue related to the missing indicator with GB ROMs?
thanks

Yes, all gingerbread roms have VVM issues. It probably won't be fixed until the final release of gingerbread is out. Google voice is free, and can email or text you transcripts of your voicemails, as well as let you look at them with the Google Voice app.
I travel out of the US a lot, so getting emails of my messages and being able to listen to them over WiFi is a huge plus for me.
I just installed voice and when I goto setup it says my carrier is not supported...any ideas

Is anyone having problems sending and receiving text messages? It started this morning. I'm on viper rom but it's not the rom because I restored my MeanROM back up and it's doing the same. I would appreciate the help if anyone has insight on this problem.

I had an issue that started that way, it eventually made its way to an error with Sprint completely losing connectivity. After reading that many have had the very same issues, I exchanged the phone at a corporate Sprint store after they couldn't make it login either and haven't had an issue since.

A few questions to clear up and just want to make sure I'm not the only one experiencing them...
1) I can't send SMS 99% of the time. SOMETIMES it sends... but rarely. I heard of an SMS Fix. Does anyone know about it?
2) Receiving SMS seems to be intermittent... Most of the time, it doesn't receive.
3) The 4G LTE bars don't show anymore than 2 bars weather I have full service where I am.
What radio are you on? The signal bars for 4g is a known issue that is being worked on

I had a problem with SMS and mms not sending once. Somehow my settings got screwed. I installed handcent and sent one thru it and it worked from then on. I use go SMS now tho. It works great. Point being whatever setting got messed up installing handcemt fixed it. Its worth a try
Yea hand cent will fix it sometimes. I had some issues sending them recently so I'm thinking maybe Verizon was having some issues because it started working on its own.
