Ok I'm running fj ucle2 rom. I can't get texts unless I text myself. This only started happening recently. Any ideas?

Have you flashed any mods that might be causing this problem? I've been running fj's i717 roms from the beginning with no trouble. Maybe try a factory reset and reflash the rom and not use TiBu to restore your apps.
Check your apn settings

Have you tried Go SMS or another app?

Yeah I have this problem too. It happens randomly and could go on for hours until I realize it. I've been on gingeritis 1.0
Same here...

I'm not sure. I started having the problem after I flashed the MR2.5 radio but after I flashed back to MR2 I was still missing texts.
I am switching to gingertheory now

I was having this problem after a force close in Handcent. My radio would go off and come back on and unless I rebooted my phone I wouldn't receive any texts. I only noticed it on radio MR2 and DB3.0

I'm currently running cm9 and I searched but my mms doesn't work. They said use voice dialer to access but I can't find one. I downloaded one from Google play but it doesn't work. Any other way to get to apn settings?
Sent from my MB855 using XDA
Voice dialer is included either with the rom or gapps.

Edit - I got it fixed. Thanks
Had to reflash gapps. Followed pg 192 on [ics] cm9 beta etc still can't send mms after rebooting.

According to the thread, you need the latest rom which was released within the last 24 hours.

Been running 4.4 since it was first uploaded. I'm a flashaholic lol.

On stock ICS with factory reset. This happens randomy a couple of times each day. Never happened on GB.
Same on my friend's phone. Any suggestions?
I had the same issue when I tried sending text messages or opened my inbox. It caused a lag of 10-15 seconds.
It seems to be related with bluetoothmap.apk.
I never use bluetooth, so I wiped the bluetooth appdata and deleted all the bluethoot apps with titanium backup (made a backup first just in case).
This fixed it for me.

Download the package file, Reflash your official rom via odin, not over kies.

I'm not sure if that will work for borchgrevink.
In my case the problem started to occur because I flashed the original rom with Odin.
For me this issue was caused by restoring data using Titanium backup for SMS. To fix you MUST never restore data this way. Instead use SMS backup and restore app.
Better still install go SMS and uninstall stock SMS app using TB for good!

Well this happened to me when upgrading to ICS without reset, and also after a factory reset.
Never happened on GB. Is it an OS bug or rogue app?

It's something to do with changes to the SMS storage database as far as I can tell.

Hehe, yes, but I don't want to root...

I don't want to root either and I keep getting the same problem. Anyone who has the this should contact Samsung until they fix it, they should treat us better after we buy their expensive phone. The Chief Exec of Samsung Mobile is at [email protected] they'll fix it is a few people email in.
Just emailed [email protected] let's see if they reply back
So I'm on the new firmware (global) and running zhp's vigor rom. Amazing rom. Everything is smooth. Battery life is swell.
I'm running the previous version of maps and I am still experiencing random reboots.
Any ideas on what these may be caused from?
Thanks for any replies in advance.

I ran it for two days, never had a reboot.
The reboots don't even occur with maps. Just random phone usage and stuff. Maybe cache problems?
Sent from my ADR6425LVW using xda app-developers app
I'm having them too. Downloading v1.1 now to see if that solves the issue. Love the Rom though.

About to download 1.1.
How is it going for you?
Sent from my ADR6425LVW using xda app-developers app
Did flash the kernel after the rom?
Sent from Rezound
I flashed the ROM and it works fine. But I am not seeing the changes v1.1. The dialer and messages all look like v1
Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk 2
I've been running since he uploaded v1.0, just updated to 1.1, no issues. Maybe wipe, and flash again, without installing anything extra. Almost anytime I have issues with a Rom, its an app or mod disagreeing with it.
Sent from my ADR6425LVW using xda app-developers app
I flashed the v1.1 and everything is working. No reboots now. Sorry for the slow reponse, but I flashed a different Rom cause I needed one that wasn't rebooting all the time.
Sent from my ADR6425LVW using xda premium
I ran it pretty hard for a few days on 1.1 (not a dirty install). I did have one one random reboot. I was checking email in Touchdown (which honestly never has any problems on any of the ROMs I run so it is not likely the app) and clicked something but nothing happened. Tried back and home, and a few seconds later I saw the HTC white screen. Everything worked fine after the reboot.
I run 1.1 for two days no reboot. I haven't tried version 1
I have been running 1.1 without any reboots. But I didb reinstall the ruu.

I have tested biel rc4, cmx and slim cm7, they all end up phone restart after I talked about 20 seconds on a phone call, it happens alot but not every call.
Any idea if it's a bug or something else?
Sent from my GT-S5830i using xda app-developers app
Have you tried reinstalling the stock ROM?
Just reflash the ROM. IT may work.
Thanks for the reply pals, I did many reflash and setup and I think the problem has something to do with swappiness..
