I hate the new slow stupid market .. Usually it show time out ..
I like the old market i think its version 2.3.6
I downloaded it but when i run the installed it sayes
Application not installed !!
Help .. I want the old nice market
Delete the new one and then install the old one as a system app

go to settings>application>manage applications>play store. press uninstall updates. then freeze market updater using titanium backup(paid) or link2sd(free).
then wala. you got yourself the old unlaggy old android market.

The official market on ics is the next laggy version and the good version is the official for gb

Soo I installed an clean version of anddroid but whenever I wanted to install an new app via market the app would just force close the I tried tu downgrade but I ended up deleting my apk soooo could anybody be so king to give me their vending.apk plssssssssssss
also my phone is an mini pro

better go get shokmah's market! put in google "shokmah market x10 mini", instructions included in the thread.

Hi guys i got cm7 gingerbread based rom and i got an older version installed of market and can't install a new one doesnt work i deleted whit root manager but it didnt worked so i had to flash back -- anyway my request is can someone go on the actual markoand get me the app ''free memory recoverer " made by Fantasmo soft please?

why uninstall the market fully?
if market starts to malfunction just go to settings--->applications to delete the market updates (that'll bring you to the oldest version of market installed in your rom)
It doesn't even show the uninstall option and its a custom market i think its named BlackMarketApp.

Yes it is possible to install.
I did and it looks and works great.
Get the apk from following post

Install as a normal apk
If you don't like you can uninstall it as well.

I just uninstalled new market, installed old market and from Titanium Backup froze the market updater apk. Or you can disable updater in terminal on your phone:
su
pm disable com.android.vending.updater

Use titanium backup pro from market.. Go to market doctor option in it.. Itl be fixed..

What do you mean ? You can't install apps from market, or is there force close when you try to open them ?

When I try to install some apps, like ebay offficial apps or kobo appear a message that apps its not supported by my device.
Its apps that I've installed before upgrade

Ok. Definitly a market issue. First, check on the Google Play website (not the Google Play App, but with your Internet navigator), on "My Android Apps", which model of phone is associated with your account. If it doesn't correspond to your device, Google Play has a problem !
In that case, erase the datas of the Google Play app in Android, and restart it again. It will correctly detect your device.
