Hi, i've flashed my phone from android 2.3.6 gingerbread to 2.2.1 froyo, when i flashed it the phone turned off, and now i can't turn it ON even if it's charging. how can i solve that problem?

Oh yah, things are obviously kosher now that you have Froyo on there, it's so smooth it can't even turn on?
Try put the phone into download mode, get odin + stock firmware and flash it.
i can't even put it in download mode, the screen is black all the time, even when i hold these buttons and odin detects the phone i cant do anything because when i try to flash it it says <setup connection> and nothing happens for a long time

if you want froyo,Simply flash multi-package stock froyo rom ;-)
you will have froyo on your ace ;-)
problem why is this in dev section? and Froyo has better battery life for those asking why. Try removing battery connect via usb and enter DL mode. If you got to DL mode then lucky you if not troll samsung center

btw have u tried any of gb cm7 roms ??? they are really fast and bring tons of features ...also a stable official cm7 rom has come up today check it out mate !

First of all wrong section!!!!!!
Next steps to solve this problem
1)remove sim card,sd card,battery ..tgen meditate for 2mins.
2)re insert it....
3)dont restart it go to downloading mode you will definitly will get downloading screen..
3)if you are not getting downloading screen go to a servicing centre
4)if u get then u have to download a europian version(not necessary) with all files like pda...modem..etc
5)flash it...
6)now u hav europian version...then u flash ur desired froyo version...
Bottom line is /* u cannot downgrade from gingerbread to froyo with one package */

actually I have a problem with my GS2
first thing I want to tell that I had decided to change my rom from odex to deodex one..
I had looking for a good one amd I found that Gangsbread is the best..but it doesn't work with my rom which is JPKF2 so that I had to change it to XXKH3 " a raw rom".. so I downloaded it and tried to flash it on my phone but it didn't work..
and I tried to switch my GS2 on but it doesn't work
I've downloaded the JPKF3 raw rom and tried to flash it.. and this what happened to me every time I tried to did it "the pics is within the attached files"~_~
I did with a different roms wuth a count of 33 but it doesn't success.. *_*
and now I have a message on my GS2 screen saying that..“Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. please select recovery mode in kies & try again”
please can I do anything to fix it ?

You were supposed to download a .tar file, select it on PDA and flash, no re-partition

Asad4334 did you actually read the thread that JJ asked you to do. I would stop trying to use the files you download and get your stock rom for your phone and reflash that so you are back to the state when your phone was working. Those other files do not even look like GS2 firmware or kernel files.

Actually when I bought my phone I rooted it by the way that Intratech explained and it worked with me ^_^

Hmm Asad I think the files you initially used may right royally screwed your phone. They look like they were SGS1 phone files. If they were then I think your phone will require JTAG repair.
Let's hope there are more people with better knowledge can help you.

I don't know if it did..I've tried 44 times with different roms but what I'm sure the files is for GSII you can see the picture which I depend on to change the room..

I think you can forget about the Deodexed Rom for now. You need to get back to stock. Looking at the pics you submitted. You may end up having to go Service Centre and have it Repaired. Be prepared to pay for the repair as well.

i hav rooted my samsung galaxy s2 gt-i9100g to update it ICS through odin3 . but unfortunately in odin it came fail... so i disconnected it removed the battery and put it again and started restarting the phone but to my badluck there's dat symbol comin in the middle of the phone that is phone caution symbol and pc. i cant understand wat to do. i m a nooob so plz help me out i cant send it to warranty as well because i have rooted it wid custom rom. if there is a way for me to get it back to stock plz help me out!!!
ICS? are you sure the rom was for 'G' version only? Are you able to enter download mode?

that symbol means forced download mode so just get any stock rom and flash it for your i9100g.remember if you connect your moblie to pc when it is on and shows that symbol,odin will detect your phone and just flash stock rom.and be thankful that odin failed at flashing if it didnt you would have hard bricked your device.never try and flash i9100 roms on i9100g.and last thing there is NO ics update for i9100g.be careful when flashing roms,make sure that the rom you are flashing is for your device.

JUST flash any kernel! its very simple solution!,flash any kernel through odin (you dont need to go to download mode) i had the same problem and the same model
and got it fixed ! ,just flash any kernel through odin ,by clicking on pda and selecting kernel file ,and if it dosenot work then i think i will post link for official rom for i9100g

1) Download attached file called upd_1.zip and copy it to your sdcard
2) Turn off your phone
3) Press POWER+HOME BUTTON
4) Select update from sdcard, select the file upd_1.zip
5) After the update completed - reboot
6) Now you have rooted S5830

Hi,
I follow the instruction on the above threat & work 100%.
After rooting & install link2sd, my screen menu icon can delete. I don't know what happen but after I'm reboot the SGA, some icon on the menu screen is missing. So, I create it back.
Today, already day 2 and every think running well.
Btw, can you read the thread slowly. Because upd_1.zip file already can d/l at one of you thread reply

have you tried the latest version of the superoneclick?
if not, try running it in admin mode
my korean galaxy ace with stock gb 2.3.4 rooted
perfectly without any problems
Just flash the following file in recovery..worked for me and 4 of my friends..

Hi jithendra194,
if you already flashed the clockworkmode this could be the problem!
I know a friend who had to flash stockrecovery again, before rooting his device.
Rooting wasn't possible by using the clockworkmode, but with stock recovery rooting was successfully
So you can try flashing the stock recovery first (from here) and after it you should flash the upd_1.zip (from here)

Solution:
1-you should have 2.3.4 android version.
2-you need to mount below kernel in flash mode

I recently was updating my sgh i777 on kies to firmware 4.0.4 but it failed and went to emergency firmware recovery mode.Now there is a message on the phone " Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in kies & try again". Tried this still failed. Also did a stock at&t rom through odin but fails right before it finishes.

You can flash a stock rooted system package of 2.3.6 or 4.0.3, either one would be better than the 4.0.4 which is known to cause lock ups and sleeps of death.
There is stock ics romantic. Which you can flash with odin.. Please read the developer posts and thread before flash anything. Stock ics has a phone bricking bug and you have to flash a custom kernel to get rid of it...

To the OP, not sure if you could do an OTA from GB to 4.0.4. You definitely need KIES to update.
If your phone is not updated yet to ICS, you could follow the stickies to root and then install a custom rom, if thats what you are looking for.
Most Stable ROM
Installed 4.0.4 using KIES, then rooted the device. Having a few issues with my calendar sync/updates with Exchange server. Bluetooth also doesn't work anymore. What is the most stable ROM for the I777? I need my Bluetooth back. I'll keep poking around the forums to see what I can find.

Most of them are stable just read the op of the rom u want to see if u like it then flash it. Oh and make a nandroid backup first
