Xperia S Headhphones - Sony Xperia P, U, Sola, Go

Hello, today bought my Xperia S , looks great, feels to no problems at all but one, I found that Xperia S headset has very low audio quality, could you please recommend other headphones that will work with my phone. I'm thinking of getting Beats Audio's. Thanks in advance

You can find the answer in accessories section.

Yeah, the headphone included has poor sound... the Galaxy Note headphone is far better than the one included by Sony...
Sent from my LT26i using Tapatalk 2

Try audio-technica. They cheaper and better than Beats

Don't get Beats. If you want good sound, Schneider Electric, Sehnheiser or AKG is cheaper.

or go cheap but good. i use Kanen KM92 from deal extremeDOTcom thy4,70 bucks or 4 euros! same performance as sennheiser cx300 or 400! good!

Thanks.
Thank you all guys, appreciate help

If you want good headphones for cheap, you can get AKG K77 or something else K-series. Awesome sound for $50 really.

Can anybody give me some feedback on the performance of Sony's Livesound headset?
Thanks

Quite good for its price, but not mind blowing.

I have a set of Klipsch S4s, and they are AMAZING with my XS!
They're fairly cheap too. I bought a brand new pair, with a carry tin, extra buds and a cleaner for less than £30!
They have an anti-tangle wire, which I have to say, actually does what it says!

The normal stereo type headphone (or earphone) with speaker, volume control and button for answering a call... I still have my original HTC Mini HD heaphone, another from iPhone 4S, Galaxy S2 and Galaxy Note... and the one from Galaxy Note should be the one they included in Xperia S... it has an awesome sound!...

Should any other Sony headphone work? And what about beats headsets or iPhone headphones?

have you used the Bose soundlink ?? Id like to hear a few reviews on this looks like it will be my next accessory
Some of the Samsung docks (like EDD-D1G8BE) have a SPEAKER LINE OUT in the back. If you're connecting it to a nice speaker system this would make the sound a bit better than the headphone jack.
I got it at the base exchange. On the air force base in San Antonio
Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G with Beats Audio using xda app-developers app
Which one did you get on base?
Power cord + audio patch cable + any device with audio in = my solution.
Cables are a dime a dozen and you can get something far quality with an audio in rather then trying to get something with a dock or BT connection.
I have a Motorokr eq5 bluetooth speaker that's I like to use. It sounds pretty dam good in my opinion. It cost me about 65$ but I use it every day for about 6-7hours straight.

Best HiFi headphones

I want to buy HiFi stereo headphones for my Xperia neo v.. Any one can suggest best one.
Sent from my MT11i using xda app-developers app
Define hi-fi headphones. Are they the big ones? If so, I would reccommend audio technica m50. Sennheisers and Sony are also quite good. Might be the nagging for u but STAY AWAY FROM BEATS. Even Bose is better.

It is claimed that they're way better than Dr.Dre's Beats headsets in terms of looks ,feel and quality of sound as well.

Stereo Headphones?

I had a good pair of over-the-ear headphones that I used however, they only work on my phone under specific conditions (they're gaming headphones). That being said I want more music specific headphones that were, well red and somewhat good looking. Wanted to know if anyone had suggestions?

Meh, $500 isn't that bad for high quality IEMs, I've got PFE232s and they are well worth the money, just depends on how much you like music.

I love music, that's why over the ear headphones are the only way to go. Not to mention with ear buds you cause direct damage to your eardrum.

Well, for me, my desktop over the ear headphone setup is too big to go portable, so I got IEMs instead. As long as you don't crank the volume up, i don't think they will do much damage. But back on topic, OP, if you get the headphones you linked, you might experience some clipping and distortion at lower volumes, if this happens, I recommend a portable amp, like the Fiio E11 or something along those lines. It will boost the volume, and make the headphones sound a lot better overall. :good:

Going to agree. I have a pair of beats solos and they don't even compare to my audio technica m50's even though there's a 70 dollar price difference. Beats being the $200 set.
I have the Motorola SD-10HD bluetooth headphones and they are red and black. They actually work very well and have controls on them so you can adjust volume and skip tracks.
I have the monster turbine cooper pros iem. They sound great!! Sounds very velvety don't know a better way to describe the sound but VELVETY

I'd have to agree also. I bought that wireless beats by dre and used them for a week. They were good but after doing some more research I returned the beats (way over priced) and got the over the ear bluedio wireless headphones for $146. Much happier with them especially at half the price.

iPhone 5 earpods

Not sure if anyone has found a fix or I'm just too stupid, but has anyone been able to use the earpods as a headset?
I can hear music, but I can't use the earpods as a headset for my i717.
I used to rock Astro's, but my clumsy ass broke them. :'(
So has anyone successfully used the earpods as a mic?
Because they're an apple product. LOL no hut really, using the ear buds as a mic? Not possible. Using them as a headset you should he able to as in like listening to games etc.

You can't do it because apple moved the position of the contacts on the 1/8th connector for mic/inline controls slightly off from the norm so they don't usually work on non apple products.

I've been using the Klipsch S4a with Headset Button Controller, which finally fixed that ridiculous HTC bug where the button would call the last contact. They sound great and I got an open box pair for $50 bucks off eBay. Would be nice to have separate volume control on them but I haven't seen any headphones able to do that on Android yet.

+1. These have good sound quality, despite being earbuds (or pods as they call them), and not ear plugs. Perfect for people with narrow ear canals, as most plugs won't fit.
