I have problem with my phone that cannot receive email from ms exchange mail server (2010 version) 2 days after I set up the email a/c on my phone. However, I have got no problem to send email and access address book from my phone through the exchange mail server.
I have delete my mail a/c on my phone and set up again. I have got the same problem after 2 days from setting up of my mail a/c.
Is there any missing set up on my phone or any special setting on ms exchange server.
I have already update my phone firmware to 6.0.A.3.75
Please help...

Anyone had a problem of unable to send email eventhough you can receive ok? This is driving me nuts! I read in the XDA II page under product info/known limitations that this is normal first time sending email. They claim to just ignore the error messages and re-click on the "send and receive" icon - it should work fine afterwards.. But it DID NOT worked fine I am still unable to send emails. Receiving is ok.
Anyone out there with any insights ?
mailbox incoming/outgoing setup is fine. sheesh..
How is your network carrier?
regardless of who you use for your email account, ensure that if you are using the O2 Mobile Web service that your Sendmail server is set to smtp.o2.co.uk
I'm not too technical but I think 1 of my mail accounts requires a different login to send mail which you cant setup on the XDAII. Maybe...

Who is your email provider? any of these: yahoo.com, yahoo.co.uk, or Hotmail. i have the same problem as well.
Yahoo and new hotmail accounts need to be paid for to sync via outlook, those of us who have been syncyng Hotmail for a while (was it oct 2006 or 2005 they stopped - I have a memory like a seive) can still sync.
When you set up the email account how did you do it, who is it with and did you test the settings?
But you could still forward all your Hotmail mails to another free mail provider
(to which you can freely sync to Outlook).
i have the same issue. set up with an IMAP server. it doesnt even try over 3G and works while connected to a pc and uses its connection. suggestions? is this answered elsewhere?
[Edit]: Found on another thread (thanks to Pawel062) to uncheck the proxy info on the Media Net, this resolved the issue for me.
Has anyone tried Moxier Mail as a corporate mailclient?
It looks really good, but I cant get it to sync.
I'm the exchangeadmin at work and have access to logs and I can see that it connects and tries to sync, it even gets a HTTPS 200-reply from our server, but the damn thing wont sync the mails...
Have mailed the support, hopeing for a reply.
i'm using moxier mail 2.8 with exchange server (activesync) on flyer 3g and it works fine.
Howevery I got one or two times it stoped sync, deleting the sync profile and recreate it fixed the problem.
I have two accounts configured on my phone, one an IMAP Exchange server for Hotmail, the other a POP3 ATT account. Both were working fine. I just tried to send an e-mail from my phone and neither account can send e-mail although receiving is working fine. Nothing has changed on the phone recently. I looked in my Outbox for the IMAP account and noticed a couple of replies I sent last week were still sitting there never having been sent. When I click on Send Items all I get is a rotating arrow that never stops. If I send something from the POP3 account I get an error message saying Connection Error (ATT). Any clues?
I have three email accounts, all hotmail or msn accounts, setup in the email program that came with the phone. Two days ago, my texts started showing up in all three email accounts. Even if I access the email accounts from my computer and not the phone, the texts are there. So that means the phone is forwarding the texts to the email accounts. Why is this happening and how do I stop it?
Got it. I don't know how they SMS sync got turned on for the three accounts just the day before yesterday. I had never been that deep into the settings before and it wasn't like that since I got the phone the day they were released. Pretty weird that it turned itself on like that.
