Hi
Just got my S3 last Friday..
Root the phone this morning using Odin3 v1.85 and CF-Root-SGS3-v6.2.tar
after that I tried to restore all my App's data using titanimum back in patch mode, it restore ok. then I reboot.
After that I keep get messages "Unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped." after pressing 'OK', I get "Unfortunately, the process android.process.acore has stopped." after pressing 'OK', i get "Unfortunately, the proess contract has stopped." after pressing 'OK' again, i get "Unfortunately, calendar Storage has stopped."
This keeps recycling...
I flashed the "[Stock Official Firmwares] I9300XXALF2 (4.0.4) - United Kingdom (BTU) [12-06-12]", but still now the same ..
Now I can use the phone at all the messages just keep coming up...
HELP PLEASE ....
Try flashing a custom firmware via CWM Recovery see if that works....this time don't restore your apps. Also DO a full wipe....(wipe data, factory reset) cache and dalvik cache too

i think it's better for you to fully format your phone.
Performing a factory format using dialpad
1. Warning ~ no turning back after key in.
2. Bring up dialpad.
3. Key in *2767*3855#
4. Finally, SGS3 will be rebooted and factory format.
this will wipe everything from your phone, so back up everything(your photos, videos, titanium backup folder)
Just boot up cwm and do full wipe and reboot.. This is not by any means somewhere near a brick

I have done a full factory reset via the cwm.
All is well now..
THANKS AGAIN...

Have flashed my S2 a few times, and happy with XXKI4, and also rooted using the CF-Root method.
However, seem to be getting a few Force Close errors here and there.
Market sometimes force closes when im not even using it, And if i go to Settings-Location+Security-Find my mobile, both Sim change alert, and remote controls throw up a com.android.settings Force Close.
I have wiped cache, dalvik cache, and fixed permissions using CMW recovery.
Any ideas chaps?
Thanks.
Would a Hard reset maybe solve this?

Would be my first impression too.
Just do a complete system / nandroid backup in recovery mode (or by using the CWM Manager app).
Then Boot into recovery mode and do a factory reset.
Then reboot into recovery again, wipe cache partition and Dalvik cache too.
Then reboot the phone.
If that does not help, then you may have to flash the ROM (and afterwards CF-Root kernel) again.
Please remember to backup before and wiping cache(s) after flashing.
That will prevent most common FCs.
Good luck !
I had the same problem on my galaxy note, happened when i disabled the samsungservice.apk under system/app (was trying to remove Samsung bloat)
Put back the samsungservice.apk there and no more forced closes for the find my phone settings
Been rooting my SG2for some time however, last night I did a factory rest and the phone bricked.....I used my jig to get back to reload and via odin I tried installing tar files back . However after it reboots up it does not run corrctly anf freezes.....One messaqge that keeps appearing is ANDROID PROCESS.ACORE
Any ideas whas occuring and is there another download that will sort this.
Thanks
sr
did you wipe after flash?
use the dial code to wipe.
or if that fails using cwm format system data cache and flash again using odin.
That happened to me. Same as above post, wipe all and flash with odin.

Managed to sort it .... although whats the dial code option ?
Thanks
sr
Dial code to wipe
*2767*3855#
It will do factory reset also erases your Internal sdcard.
Only work on stock ROM
I tried a Jelly Bean ROM today....but....Didn't like it....So I wiped, deleted cache, dalvik and flashed back my fave ICS ROM.....the device wont boot. Then I did the whole thin again and got the the "process com.android.phone has stopped" prompted and all I had was a black screen, nothing worked except the notification pane.....
I saw I had a restore image on CWM, restored....all works.....but I wanted a clean install to start fresh.
Suggestions? I want a clean install.
Thanks
Paul

very simple, just follow these steps:
1. Flash your firmware via Odin
2. Boot to recovery,
- Perform a factory data reset
-reboot phone
done.
Remember you must always do a factory reset when upgrading/downgrading android versions. You also need to flash the appropriate gapps.

Hey
I downloaded and flashed CM10 nightly on my s2. I had no problems with it until I tried to restore my contacts using titanium backup... now it says "process com.android.phone has stopped." all the time... after the error message when i press ok, the cm start up animation comes up for like 5 seconds, and the error message comes back.
How can I make my phone work again... it seems cwm recovery doesnt boot up anymore..? What can I do?? I have my stock rooted rom backed up but how can I flash it??
Factory reset, cache and dalvik.

So how do I exactly do this? Sorry for this idiot question..
And will I lose EVERYTHING..
Hum...yes, you'll lose you data (not from SD)
You could wipe only dalvik, it'll delete your apps tho.
Don't you have a backed up ROM?

uh got it working..
maybe it was just a nightly issue..
Could be.
If you wanna flash stock ROMs, get mobile odin pro.

Hi,
I really don't understand what just happened with my Galaxy S2. It was on and well, then crashed for no reason and displayed two error messages in a loop: "Falcon Pro has stopped unexpectedly" (that's my Twitter client) and "android.process.media has stopped unexpectedly". I had not even the time to click on "OK" before the other message appeared and so on, so I forced the reboot by pressing the power button.
Now the phone is stuck on the "S2" logo when booting.
I tried wiping the parition cache, it did nothing.
I have Android 4.0.something, Samsung/Bouygues original rom with Siyah kernel.
What can I do (without losing all my data if possible)?
Thank you...

Do you still have the original rom zip on your sd card? If you do, you could try a dirty flash of it on top of your current setup. Wipe cache/dalvik cache and then flash the rom zip. Seeing as you're having FC's, you could also fix permissions in recovery, can't hurt.
Edit: Note, that's attempting to not wipe your data. If that doesn't work you'll likely have to factory reset from recovery.

No, I didn't have any rom on my card...
I tried to wipe dalvik, fix permission, wipe cache and reboot but the problem was not fixed.
So I said goodbye to my data, did a factory reset and that worked. Phew!
Thank you
