Read the article and decide buddy worse is you swap your phone for another through warranty. Really! If it says tested on s3 then why not believe it.

I'd check that it's actually sim locked before trying anything a lot of UK phones appear to be unlocked as standard.

You do know that it's pretty stupid to make you IMEI publicly available?
Anyone can now report your device stolen with that IMEI and make it unusable.

Unlock code won't work??

Hey guys, i bought the unlock code from cellunlocker.net and got the network/unlock code but the phone is not accepting it... i tried all alternative methods to input the codes but just won't take it... i tried data/cache wipe, tried using different sim cards (tmobile), etc
I rooted/ics (juggernuat) rommed the phone prior to unlocking you think this might be the reason why the phone's not accepting the unlock code?
you should ask first!
i unlocked my att i717 note from ebay for 5.88$. (thanks KillaHurtz)!
yes, it' works!
message me and i give you the link.
dont think they allow ebay link here.
How many times have you entered unlock code. It only gives you 3 chances to enter codes and then locks you out.

S3 unlock questions?

Hi - been searching the forum but cannot find a difintive answer.
Are the S3 from carriers unlocked, in particular Orange?
If not, is there any way of unlocking like we were able to do with S2?
Thanks and apologies if its been posted before.

They're usually not unlocked although I've had the odd one which was, the best thing to do is to use voodoo for galaxy s3 and it will simply unlock your device. Job done.

[Q] Unlocked Phone but keeps re-locking

Hey, all
I've recently aquired a Samsung Galaxy S2 GT-I9100p Which is the version with NFC which if I'm correct is an american important?
I am from the UK.
So basically I edited my nv_data.bin so that my phone would be come Network Unlocked and it keeps resetting the Network Lock.
I have tried the following apps :
Galaxy_S Unlock by Helroz
Samsung Galaxy S Unlock Tool by DaGentooBoy
[Root] Galaxy S2 SIM Unlock by Chainfire
[TOOL] Samsung Network/Sim Unlock Code Generator/Patcher (SGS1/2/3) by AdamLange
Non of these work and I can't seem to figure out why I have to delete my nv_data.bin from my phone and replace it with edited one on my SDCard then reboot and I have Network unlock for about 4-5hours then it disconnects and I have to do it again.
Can anyone possibly help me with this?
Thanks in advance to all.
EDIT --
Before anyone goes use the search buttton...
I have used the search button and I can't seem to find the answer I am looking for.

GalaxSim Unlock is now available in the Google Play Store here. It's free to download, with in-app billing to unlock, for what I believe is a fair price.

No problem mate
I am really upset that I have to keep deleting my modified nv_data.bin and replacing it to make it so my orange sim card works hehe
Thanks for the advice tho I will have to try it out if I can't find and alternate..
I would pay but I don't know how much it will cost and if it costs more than £5 I would pay I would take it to the local market
@OP, the link of the app IS for the FULL version of the APP... the one on the market is the one with the in-app billing... i just downloaded the app from the link and it worked for me(free)
Edit: The apk in the link is missing the other "Features" that the owner writes about in the post. But it does unlock for free.

Wait let me think.... sim lock is carrier related in that your device only allows certain sims. Therefore your device is locked down to a carrier, unless I've completely misunderstood!

Its working for only one company sim cards. So yeah if I dont have this sim card from this company it wont work.. There is way to pay like o 4-5$ to unlock it. But wanted to ask if there is any free solution.
Otherwise I will have to pay ;(

I'm glad that you are doing well, good luck to you.
You would have to contact the carrier, who's brand is on your device for the cell network unlock code.
