Hi there, a noob question.
I use chub's Ville port and I can play YouTube 3d and 3d video .3dv format very well while Some members said that 3d is not working in sense 4. Is it just me or someone experiencing the same?

I could be mistaken, but I thought they meant 3d camera/recording is not working, but 3d playback does.

Is there a media player that will play SideBySide films in .mkv or .avi format in 3D mode? It seems strange that one does not exist

Not currently, no. The only way to play 3D movies is with the stock player, which won't play MKV's. I think once 3d gets ported to AOSP, we will see other players having support. Some say mobo player will do 3d but I could never get it to work.

Gallery works for me just. Convert all your movies to 3 d its pretty easy with a converter

Now that I have got myself a full 3d video converter is there a way to play mkv files in 3d anyone want it they could pm me there email address can send it and this is a full on version not trial
I also know a place to get mp4 blu ray rips

You can always use Freemake to covert your mkv to avi. I know more work but thats how I usually do it.

As far as I know the only media player that will play 3D movies is the stock player, which will not play MKV's. We need to wait till other players (Dice,Mobo Player,etc..) are updated to play the 3D format. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I've been waiting for this as well.
It's such a pain in the start especially when the LG will play them correct me if I'm wrong this is a more expensive phone

Afternoon XDA I have converted a few hi res movies too 3D following the guidance on these forums however I split a few of the larger films as they were Soooo huge! Does anyone know of an app that can create Playlist for videos? So I can watch them in 3d seamlessly?

Can I ask why you are splitting them? The movies I have are Max 2GB... and where are you getting these movies? Torrents? Your own, that you re-encode?

If you used handbrake and followed the steps 100% then is shouldn't be that large regardless of how high quality
I made a 10 GB into a 1.8 GB file using handbrake following the directions all the way

Were mainly from re encodes from my old Linux box home server It's ok now though as discovered wondershare can 'merge' them for me
