Flash jkay mod thus you can ...set so many options ...like you are asking ...
Firstly download cwm recovery bring it on ext. Sd card ...
Then download jkay mod as matched to your pda check your pda *#1234#
After downloading bring jkay mod in int. Sd card
Now real game start ...reboot into recovery mod and chose second option install update from Sd card
And locate cwm recovery.zip flash it...
Now you recovery sud change to cwm recovery ...
Now in cwm recovery chose install zip from Sd card and located jkay mod ...flash it...
That's it...Now you have so many option...to customize your phone ...
Download jkay setting app from market ...you can change every thing...
No root required... Have fun
Enjoy...

Hi everyone,
Sorry to bother you guys, i am kind a noob in here.
I got samsung vibrant, rooted to trigger 2.6, now i want to install different theme on my vibrant, i got the Scarlet Leftovers v3.5 which is nice theme.
Can some one help me step by step to install it in to my phone. I am very very appreciate it.
Thanks
I guess i'll do it since the other 28 ppl that viewed the thread didnt
Boot your phone into recovery (press the power button and go to recovery)
once in recovery scroll to where you see install zip from sd
then scroll down to where u see choose zip from sd card
here you will see all you android folders
look for the folder where you have your theme
then choose your zip once you find it
next you will see your zip with a bunch of lines saying no
scroll to where u see your zip and presto you flashed your theme
FYI no need to post a new thread for this, ppl are going to flame you...
Happy flashing

It's just like flashing a new ROM. Same procedure. Place whatevertheme.zip on the root of your SD card, reboot phone into CW recovery, scroll to install .zip, choose .zip, flash, reboot phone.
Done.

its not akernel.its a zip that you put a kernel inside and can flash it.
you open his zip( not exctract).delete the boot.img that is in there.there drag and drop in the zip the boot.img you want to flash(for example my boot.img fro my tar file.)then flash it from skin's CWM recovery

Go here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1818830&
scroll down the post to see the MASSIVE text saying Download and 'click' that. It will take you to Raef's SkyDrive to download the kernel, you prob dont need to reflash the kernel but its the 'modules' you are interested in doing. Put the zip file on your sdcard
To flash press Vol UP, Power & Home button until phone restarts let go within 5 seconds of screen coming up again you will enter recovery, if its e3 recovery (red text) then select 'apply update from sdcard' select the file you put on SD card and wait till its done.
Reboot and try headsets <3

here what u gotta do (recomended -method 1)
Download :http://www.mediafire.com/download/4vtb5ibf75cd7hk/xperia_u_jb_dr.sushant.zip
Download Link 2: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B_0SEXrGJzpEYVlqZzl1cUc4bGs/edit?usp=sharing
Method 1
Cwm flash zip : http://www.mediafire.com/download/bgr9h1s6t5sxugh/xpU_jb_transparent_statusbar.zip
With Advanced Power Menu: http://www.mediafire.com/download/gq646v4ddmh2d96/xpU jb APM+Trans Status.zip
step1:download the attached file extract the file SystemUI.apk (from "app" folder) and android.policy.jar (from "framework" folder)
step 2: replace the SystemUI.apk (system\app) and android.policy.jar (system\framework) in their specifc folders and then flash the rom
Or
Method 2
download the cwm flash zip and put in ur sdcard reboot to recovery
mount system
flash the zip from sd card and reboot to system. and u r done.
enjoy
note/warning: do not try to replace the android.policy.jar manually by using any file explorer (es file explorer or any other.) else u will landup with bootloop and then u will curse me. u can only replace SystemUI.apk by a file explorer.
hit thanx if u like it
