True On Screen Buttons are only supported in Android 4 and CM9. This Rom port by Championswimmer has the Soft Buttons in Options but no camera yet. Great Rom though. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1682343
You could also download Button Savior from Play Store. It should work for you.

i am actually using button savior.....
i guess its a no go for soft buttons on gb...

Hello Q&A people, can I do those three touch buttons on the bottom of my screen like ICS has? and I want to know how and if it's possible. I'm using DonutHD 2.2.9. I want to try that on this ROM.

It can only be activated on CM7, CM9 and CM10 based Roms. On GB based CM7 it will only enable the buttons in the status bar. The easiest way would be to try Mokee Electra and flash the soft button addon. Soft keys on any CM7 based (FXP, etc.) can be accomplished by copying the framework-res apk and decompiling it, then changing values for soft keys enabled to true, then replacing your existing framework with the recompiled soft key enabled one. I deleted all of the links for it that I had when I switched to CM9 AOKP Hypersensation, but search for CM7 soft keys for Nexus and you will find a tutorial. Probably better to flash Mokee though.
Thank you for the information. But I don't like Mokee. Hmm... I will remember this if I get back to CM7. and I will search for soft keys, thank you.
Hi Guys!!
I accidently broke my back capicitive button and only menu button is working.
To solve this I changed WALKMAN key's function in 'pm8085-keypad.kl' and make my MENU key as back key by changing menu key's function in 'cyttsp_key.kl'.
However this method was working flawlwssly in stock rom and all the costum rom which has base rom of stock rom.
But this method is not working in cm9, cm10. I don't know why. I really want to try cm10. So anyone know how to make this method work in cyanogenmod's rom then I will be really grateful.
Thanks
EDIT:
SOLVED!! Just noticed that after editing the file the permission of that file automatically changed restricting any changes on the buttons.
So I changed the permission manually (rw-r-r) of the file after editing.
In cm10 you can set custom action on the buttons

You can add on screen keys to replace the broken hardware keys. The easiest way depending on your skill level will be to flash the PA, AOKP, or PAC ROM for your device.

Thank you very much for your reply. But i don't think i want to go down to this road because i may end up having boot loop.
Dont worry you can make a flashable zip of the original systemui.apk and framework-res.apk and do all the experiments u want...its worth experimenting
