music formats wma and aac - Samsung Galaxy 5 I5500

how can i read all the audio formats on the galaxy 5. There is a custom rom to do this with a good audio?

Install CyanogenMod 7.2 v2.6 and the audio will be more louder and the phone will be faster. For AAC and WMA Music application works fine.

[Q] quicktime .mov videos - no audio

Tried playing a Quicktime video on my Galaxy S2 (stock ROM KF3 and stock player)
The result: the video plays smoothly, except there is no audio.
The file codecs are:
audio: MPEG AAC Audio (mp4a)
video: H264- MPEG-4 AVC (part10) (avc1)
These are the videos I tried: http://www.animusic.com/downloads/index.php
How can I play these videos correctly? preferably using the stock video player, but if I need to use a different one let me know.
Hmm try "Diceplayer"(trial or paid) and or "Moboplayer"(free) both have decent software decoding. Can utilize native decoding also.
Yes, Dice play it correctly, thanks.
Is there a way to install additional codecs or something like that to allow the stock player to play it?
Nope, that's not possible.

[Q] Supported video & audio codecs

Does anyone know what codecs and audio bitrates are supported by this device?
I'm having a heck of a time getting some videos to have sound whatsoever. I continue to re-encode the audio but still haven't gotten sound.
I know that it supports lots of containers (AVI, MKV, MP4, etc.), but I cannot find specifics on what video codecs and audio codecs/bit-rates are supported for playback.
Any input is appreciated.
I copy directly from the Prime Manual.

i was using stock player and bslite.
Just used those above. only get audio on dice.
Awesome that one works. I'm confused as to why there's a difference. all play video fine. only one does audio.

Each player also uses their own codec, that's the thing about Android.
You can also contact the player maker, and let them know of your problem and ask them for implmenting codec or other.
With Mx video player you can set it up to play audio via software while the video plays through hardware. You should rarely ever need to encode when using that player.
Do your videos have sound when played back on the PC?
I guess to MX video player it is very good.

[Q] apt-x output question

When using an apt-x capable set of headphones does the S3 ouput ALL audio as apt-x, or only music from a music player? For example, if I watch a music video on YouTube, would the audio be encoded and sent with apt-x?

need a mp4/mp3 audio

Hello Folks,
Could someone recommend a mp4/mp3 audio player. I have a few mp4/mp3 audio files (not music) that I like to hear when I walk and the default one and some I've tried really are bad.
The default one when I finally get to find my audio file it startd it from the beginning and not from where I left it.
Thanks, Jake
BlackPlayer for mp3, MX Player for mp4.
Or VLC for MP4
Thanks!
Pulsar for audio is also great

Neutron music player hi-res support

Does this phone support hires audio playback, if yes, what are your settings? Thanks!
